The seasonal Mercedes is easily the most dominant car in history. ☕

It wasn't just a gap; it was about a full second on this track. Isn't that worth some respect? And where does Daniel Ricciardo's time stack up against Vettel's?
Now look at the race. After losing ground at the start, Vettel manages to overtake directly on track in an identical car. Who else has pulled that off lately?
From there, Vettel steadily builds a lead over his teammate while putting pressure on Nico Rosberg's second-place spot. All this in a car that is significantly slower than the Mercedes-Benz. If that isn't proof of pure skill, I don't know what is 🤷
. You can also see the results for the rest of the Renault-powered cars in the standings.

Mercedes performed as expected. Kudos to Red Bull Racing, though it's a shame for Daniel Ricciardo. Alonso had a solid race—even if his fans think passing the FIA with 25+ laps to go on old tires was some kind of masterstroke. As for Kimi... man, I've been putting up with that guy's setbacks since 2003🙂. Mostly, Ferrari feels stuck in total stagnation with zero progress. And McLaren? What is even happening with them??
