Should I opt for one of those quick vision screenings at a local retail shop, or would it be more prudent to use a referral to see an ophthalmologist at a hospital? I would appreciate any recommendations you might have. I tend to be quite subjective when assessing my own symptoms, so I am looking for the type of examination that will provide the most objective and reliable results. 🙂

Make sure you schedule a comprehensive exam with an ophthalmologist; a simple vision check is merely for basic orientation and doesn't provide the full picture.

Dr. D. Božičević practices at the Grbavac Clinic. He is highly accessible and an outstanding specialist.

It looks like I'm dealing with scalp seborrheic dermatitis😛anic:

Thanks

Every dermatologist employs their own specific methodology (with varying degrees of success), but if you are managing seborrheic dermatitis, you might find relief using Ducray Kelual DS shampoo during acute flare-ups, followed by Biokap anti-dandruff shampoo for long-term maintenance. Additionally, it is wise to minimize stress and avoid highly spicy foods. After consulting several specialists and testing various medications and topical products, this has proven to be the most effective regimen for me.

If we are talking about the Student Clinic, I recall coming across an article—though I can't seem to locate it at this moment—suggesting they have expanded to several different locations while maintaining their original phone numbers.

Does anyone have any experience with the Svletlost clinic?

Personally, I would suggest Dr. Henč.
A colleague of mine had surgery at Svletlost and she was quite satisfied with the results.

Elizabeth Ortiz60 said:Thanks, but as far as I am aware, neither of them is in private practice. If I recall correctly, they both work at the Salad facility. I really need a private practitioner because I simply cannot afford to wait.

Dr. Bojanić works at the Salad facility and also maintains a private practice.
Dr. Žugaj is in private practice (you just need to do a quick Google search).

Elizabeth Ortiz60 said:Does anyone know a private orthopedist or a reliable private physical therapist in Washington, D.C.? It's an emergency.

For an orthopedist, I recommend Dr. Bojanić.
As for a physiatrist, Dr. Žugaj is excellent (he has a great team of physical therapists).

any experiences? 😕

It really depends on the specific issue you're dealing with. For instance, if you see Dr. Bojanić, I believe the consultation fee is $167.

Linda Roberts19 said:At Vrbik Emergency Services, they won't accept any new patients who are transferring from another doctor within that same network. Because of this, I am asking for recommendations for a General Practitioner at either Kruge Emergency Services or the clinic over on Runjanin. Please!

Dr. Nemet-Krznarić at the Runjanin location seems quite reliable; I have visited her a few times myself, though I am not officially one of her patients. She maintains a high level of professionalism, providing all necessary explanations without excessive questioning. Furthermore, she manages appointments efficiently.

swiftstag89 said:Can anyone recommend a reliable private gastroenterologist?
It's for my dad; he's seeing blood in his stool, and the hospital won't be able to see him until the end of the month. We are too worried to wait that long, so we want to go private.

Joe Biden in Kansas City.

Bradley Thomas51 said:Does anyone know where I can go for a thorough private consultation with a gastroenterologist in Washington, D.C.? I am looking for information regarding pricing—specifically, what the approximate costs are for a gastroscopy or similar diagnostic procedures within that specialty.

I highly recommend Dr. Ivo Rotkvić. I visited him based on a referral from another physician, and I was thoroughly impressed by both his professionalism and his character. Regarding specific costs, it would be best to inquire with the office directly, as I do not recall the exact figures.

gentleridge28 said:I can't speak to Dr. Mrekur, but if you're looking at Shalati, Dr. Klapan is your best bet. He's also a professor of Otolaryngology.🙂
😉

He is an outstanding specialist, particularly when you first visit him for a private consultation.
However, he will certainly attempt to persuade you toward surgery even when it isn't medically necessary. Should you decline the procedure, be prepared for a completely different experience during your next visit—ranging from a change in attitude to outright rudeness during the examination, the consequences of which you may ultimately have to resolve with a different physician.☕

The UZV scans are performed privately by Dr. Joe Biden in Atlanta on Petrov Street, whereas if you are looking for a physiatrist, you should see Dr. Zuckerberg over on Križanić Avenue. As for pricing and other specific details, I would suggest inquiring directly with their offices for the most accurate information.
Casey Rogers47 said:I just finished up my second round of physical therapy, and honestly, it felt a lot more manageable than the first time around.
My MRI results were pretty much a mirror image of what the CT scan showed, so now I'm just waiting on the EMG results before I finally sit down with the neurosurgeon.
I've been staying on top of all the exercises they taught me during PT, but man, the pain is still hitting me every single day—especially if I try to sit or stand for too long.
Does anyone have any good advice on how to manage this pain without just relying on pills?

A specialized pain management clinic or acupuncture center.
Karen Garcia6 said:I am wondering if anyone else besides my primary care physician is allowed to access my medical records? Thanks in advance!

Technically, no one should be accessing them, but my doctor explicitly mentioned that personnel at Medicare occasionally review files for certain audits—though I can't recall the specific details of what they were checking. ☕

northernhawk29 said:I am dealing with some incredibly frustrating ankle issues. I recently underwent an arthroscopic procedure at Oakland, but unfortunately, it provided almost no relief because they only cleared out a tiny fraction of the problem area. It looks like I’m going to need a major open surgery on the ankle to actually fix this. The surgeon who performed the initial arthroscopy is refusing to take any further action, claiming there isn't much left to be done, but I am certain he is mistaken. My MRI clearly shows the specific area that is causing the obstruction and was missed during the first procedure. Is there any chance a different orthopedic specialist in Los Angeles would be willing to see me and potentially operate on my ankle? I am aiming for the specialists over at Cedars-Sinai.

Bojanić, Miškulin..
A significant portion of their practice is actually dedicated to revision surgeries. 😉
