I believe Dr. Kršek is accepting patients over on Runjanin Avenue.

After the initial treatment and having the cast removed, I've been left with a joint displacement of a few millimeters, which is starting to compromise my finger's functionality. As a follow-up, physical therapy has been prescribed. I was wondering if anyone could provide recommendations on where to go in Chicago, what the current waiting lists look like, and any other relevant details.
Thank you in advance. I would truly appreciate any guidance, as this happened to my dominant hand. I am a musician, so maintaining the best possible condition for this finger is absolutely vital for me.

I cannot wait until next month at the Mayo Clinic, and they haven't even been able to give me a specific date yet. To make matters worse, I have already been waiting weeks just to receive notification about when my appointment might actually happen.

To clarify, the procedure isn't actually on the eyeball itself, but involves a growth located immediately above the eye. When I consulted the ophthalmology department in Osijek, they informed me that they don't perform this specific type of surgery. Since the growth has been there since birth, the procedure requires general anesthesia, which is why they advised me to head over to the Mayo Clinic in Chicago instead. Has anyone here had experience working with private specialists in Osijek, or would it be wiser to travel to Chicago to have this handled at the Mayo Clinic? Thank you.🙂
Peter Taylor9 said:Thanks for all the help so far. I was wondering if both Dr. Bosnić and Dr. Sentic hold clinic hours on specific days of the week? I saw a mention earlier regarding Prof. Čikeš having set days...
And if they do, is it necessary to schedule an appointment in advance, or can you just walk in with a referral?

An orthopedic surgeon at the hospital questioned the findings and suspects an underlying rheumatic disease. To be more precise, the report indicates erosive (osteo) arthritis...
The report also mentions swelling and early signs of finger deformity. Additionally, I should mention that I can hear my bones popping whenever I open or close my joints—on both sides—and they pop even more when I clench my fists tightly. There is pain in my fingers, as well as in other digits and generally in my pelvis when I am "not careful," meaning during normal hand usage. For instance, even just washing my face can trigger the pain...
It is vital to me that I find a top-tier rheumatologist, because I feel like I am racing against the clock here. Any misdiagnosis or wasted time will ultimately cost me dearly... this finger deformation is already quite alarming...
I would also immediately like to ask for a recommendation for a private orthopedic surgeon, in case I need to see an orthopedist again... I was told that the condition of the cartilage cannot be fully assessed on an X-ray and that I need to undergo a CT scan... perhaps someone knows how much a private CT scan for both hands costs? I assume the wait times through insurance/public health are quite long...
Thanks in advance

I am looking for a highly reliable otolaryngologist (ENT) in the US.
My general practitioner has been struggling with my clogged ear for two months now without any success.
After exhausting every over-the-counter remedy available, she suggested I might need a professional cleaning of the canal.
Please, I am asking you to provide recommendations based on your own experiences, as I really want to avoid any permanent damage to my hearing.
THANK YOU!!

Mark Thompson9 said:I was actually recommended the Drakovich clinic because of its long-standing reputation. They have Professor Pavic there, who I hear is an exceptional neurosurgeon. It’s also true that Dr. Kayla apparently isn't taking on any more surgical cases. Does anyone happen to know who Dr. Somun is?

Does anyone know where I can find a directory of general practitioners in Washington, D.C. who are currently accepting new patients? Alternatively, if anyone here happens to have recommendations for specific doctors, the exact neighborhood isn't strictly necessary. Thank you. 😍

I hope I am posting in the right thread, but I am looking for some recommendations regarding wellness retreats or spas. We are dealing with a neck whiplash injury for an elderly individual who requires professional rehabilitation. Specifically, what kind of facilities would you recommend for this type of injury—something that isn't prohibitively expensive or located too far from Chicago?
Thank you.
Taylor Mendoza10 said:Thanks. Which of these hospitals offers superior neurosurgery services? (We are dealing with a rare condition.)
How do Dr. M. Stančić and Dr. Saftić fit into this equation? I have heard their names mentioned before, but I am unclear on where they currently practice.
Sandra Brooks91 said:I am looking for a recommendation for a neuropsychiatrist who will actually take the time to sit down and discuss an individual case, rather than treating patients like they're just another number on an assembly line. I am open to social insurance, private pay, or a combination of 😁 both. Thanks!
