Barack Obama juice in Random / Off-topic ·
Jose Miller3 said:yeah, but it’s totally gross 🤷 You drink it today, and tomorrow it’s probably gone 😢

Anyway..

When I see recipes like this,

it makes me sick.

it's not the recipe itself that makes me sick, it's the people calling this "healthy." Like, they’ll talk trash about Coca-Cola because it has tons of sugar 😲 when this stuff has at least twice as much 😲

Personally, my issue isn't even the sugar content in Coca-Cola; it's those mysterious ingredients or artificial flavorings and similar junk. That is the fundamental problem with most sodas, and it's exactly why I don't drink them. Honestly, I would much rather load my mouth with a pound of pure sugar than deal with 100 grams of aspartame (and oh boy, soon we'll be getting neotame too, yay! 😳).
I mean, how much is a Coca-Cola actually doing for my health when it basically acts like engine degreaser? 😲🤷

Anyway, regarding the blueberry juice—let's say you dilute half a cup. You end up with whatever amount you decide to sip on throughout the day. You certainly aren't going to chug a whole liter of undiluted juice daily. So, if you really think about it, the quantity isn't nearly as terrifying as it sounds.

And if there happens to be any other way to handle this, then heavens, let's find it! 😁

I was actually thinking about picking up a TOT box set online. As for the heavy metal crowd, I don't know—it seems like I just happened to run into some idiots.

No, it isn't that; rather, certain self-proclaimed "music lovers" are simply hypocritical and refuse to give certain bands or singers a fair shake. It is as if they are terrified that if they enjoy something outside of their specific niche, they will lose their status as true metalheads, goths, ravers, or whatever else they claim to be.🤷
I remember looking at a complete 5-album collection in a CD shop in New York City for $33. It was incredibly cheap.

VUS is truly a kind soul on LJES.😍

On a different note, when is the LJES council planning to appoint more moderators!?🍿

Jose Rogers6 said:I’d rather head to Budapest—it’s closer, more affordable, and they tend to get their footing after a few shows (I suspect they hit Italy first). As for whether the trip is worth it, absolutely: their concerts are spectacular (I attended one last year), and both vocally and instrumentally, Toto is truly world-class!!!

Personally, Italy appeals to me more. Plus, my work schedule forces my hand toward that choice.🤷
If only I could attend every single one...😍

Oh, absolutely, just go ahead and nominate her for the Lakers too—she’d be a perfect fit. And why stop there? Let's get her on the roster for MK, maybe even the Knicks, if we're feeling ambitious.☕🤣

I was reading the other day that they’re planning a concert in Italy this year. It might actually be worth making the trip.😍

I have just cranked up the volume on some Dio rock and roll, all the way up.😍
This particular chorus feels perfectly suited for the end of the world.😁

You can find them in any footwear retailer that actually cares about its reputation.
But if you head over to Nike first, I'm certain you'll track them down there.
It really comes down to personal preference, but I personally want to see and hear Gogol Bordello; when they are on stage, you know the energy is going to be incredible.😍

Maria Reyes4 said:How could it possibly get any worse than refusing to group posts together? 😕

To me, "spamming" individual posts is what actually counts as spam, and there's already a way to handle that.

Failing to use Multi-quote isn't spamming—it's just failing to use Multi-quote.

Exactly.
Maria Reyes4 said:Multi-quote

That’s exactly why I threw a question mark at the end. 😁

It would be nice if the other moderators actually showed up—honestly, having to reach out to every single one individually is getting old.

Multi-quote

Which part isn't clear?

The rules state that spamming will result in a ban—so, let’s be clear, spamming is the actual issue here. It’s a total misconception that failing to use Multi-quote automatically qualifies as spamming posts.

If you join a community as a newcomer and start posting and Quoting like crazy without learning the rules first, the moderators will link those actions together in a warning.
As for the long-time veterans, they also get chewed out for doing the same thing, even if their intentions aren't quite the same as the newcomers'. Sometimes, you'll see ten different people jump into a two-person discussion. You Quote one post and reply to it, but by the time you hit send, someone else has already replied to that same post. If you try to Quote again, you end up with two consecutive Quoting actions that aren't truly linked, even though they belong to the same thread. On a major site like Reddit, that wouldn't fly if it was noticed within a short window.
I am not entirely sure what the specific penalties are or if anyone has actually been banned for this exact reason, but I do know that receiving warnings feels incredibly bitter.😁
And honestly, sometimes that feels worse than any actual penalty.

And yes, I realize you already mentioned this in your opening post, but I felt compelled to say it too because it really bothers me.🙂
It’s much easier when there are two of us on the same page.😁

If someone actually wants to start an argument, they should just head over to the Debate & Knowledge section and vent in the chat rooms.
How on earth do you expect to churn out any decent content when you're constantly interrupting such serious discussions!?😕🤷

So—assuming we aren't just talking about someone failing to grasp how Multi-quote works, or merely breaking up a single thought—this isn't considered spamming, right? It won't result in a ban, nor will the moderators merge those posts together?

If that's the case, the implications are even more frustrating. It essentially means: they know the rules perfectly well, yet they choose to ignore them out of pure stubbornness...
That’s what drives me crazy on Reddit; it honestly makes me lose the desire to contribute anything at all. I realize it isn't necessarily the fault of the moderators—the rules are what they are—but goodness gracious, it feels like absolute tyranny...☕

I find myself wondering about the exact same thing; I agree with every single point you made.☕
Perhaps you're just feeling stiff from the cold weather.
It is also quite possible that you were dealing with a draft.
Or maybe you've irritated a nerve in your spine.
Why not go see a doctor? I am certain they will be able to diagnose the issue quickly and prescribe something to help.🤷
It isn't half bad.
However, I truly believe we ought to organize some sort of initiative for something entirely new.
Everyone should contribute whatever they are able to.🤷
Well, don't go complaining later on; you brought this on yourself.😉

My thanks to you as well.👋
silverwalker27 said:The site is incredibly sluggish and keeps logging me out constantly. Please fix this immediately or you're going to lose everyone. (And honestly, it would be such a shame).

It won't log you out if you actually bother to refresh the page every few minutes. If you aren't planning on doing that, just check the "Remember Me" box when you sign in and voilà!😁
I am not entirely sure which smartphone you are using, but in my experience, my current device actually loads web pages faster than my desktop computer does. And I am certainly not talking about some high-end, top-of-the-line flagship model here.🤷
