The infinitive follows "will," though it doesn't necessarily have to be positioned immediately after it.

Why the eye roll?
That’s exactly what I was getting at. 😍

And then they went ahead and cited a few examples where that rule just doesn't hold up. 😛
It could follow three words later, especially looking at that second example I brought up.
Or even twenty-six words later, once the context has drifted so far from the word "will" that it makes zero sense to insist the infinitive must strictly follow right behind it...😁

For instance,
Mary will, for her handsome and brilliant husband—a Sagittarius who drives an expensive purple Jeep and hits the dirt tracks with it every Tuesday—perhaps on some beautiful, sunny spring afternoon, finally cook some hot dogs just to prove to Matthew Castillo5 that the infinitive absolutely does not need to sit right next to "will," even if it usually does, just as Elizabeth Jackson pointed out. 🎉

By that same logic, the past perfect would always have to come after the simple past. 😁
And the infinitive, naturally, would end up at the very end of everything. 😁

hiddenmarlin14 said:As far as I know, an infinitive should follow the word "will," right? 🤔

Usually, yes. But not always.

For instance:
1. He will get angry.
2. Mary will cook hot dogs for her husband. :gozba jaganjčeva:

1. In this case, "himself" isn't an infinitive; it's just a reflexive pronoun.
2. "His" functions as a possessive pronoun here.

We all have certain triggers, things that just hit a raw nerve, and I suppose when you're looking at a girl who lost her mother at only eight years old, it’s hard not to feel the weight of that. It's a genuine tragedy, really. Given everything she went through at such a formative age, I imagine it’s quite easy to see why she reacted the way she did.
I suppose it’s all quite ungrateful to bring up an event like that to someone, regardless of how you frame it. If the context is even remotely uncomfortable or painful—which, by all appearances, was certainly the case for her—then bringing it up feels like a bit of a low blow.

Look, if we’re operating under the assumption that the forum rules apply equally to everyone—and I don't think there's any room for debate on that point—then I just don't see any logical reason why Nicole Johnson20 should be facing any kind of ban at all. As wanderingdriver17 seems to suggest, it feels a bit excessive, but to say she deserves a permanent ban? I guess that's a bit of a stretch, really. I mean, he wouldn't even be looking at a yellow card in that situation.

So, how exactly would one go about implementing sanctions in a case like this? I mean, it’s a complicated question, isn't it? I suppose there are several ways to look at it, but finding a solution that actually carries weight without causing unintended fallout seems like a bit of a minefield. Maybe we need to rethink the whole approach to enforcement from the ground up. This whole cycle of harassment and personal attacks... it's just exhausting. I suppose I’m asking a bit of a rhetorical question here, isn't that right? It’s one of those things that feels like it could be anything depending on how you look at it, but if we're talking about something that genuinely sustained itself for more than a month straight... well, I guess it depends on whether we're talking about a habit, a streak, or perhaps just a particularly stubborn bout of bad weather. Maybe it was a specific project at work, or perhaps a fitness goal someone set for themselves back in January. Or, if we're being a bit more philosophical, maybe it was just that feeling of seasonal gloom that seems to hang over certain parts of the country for weeks on end. It’s hard to say without a bit more context, really. I mean, what exactly are we aiming for here? What was it that actually managed to hold steady for that long? Is the Cancer Treatment thread closed specifically because of that?
Mind you, this is really just... A tiny little piece. I didn't get a chance to attach those insults earlier because, well, they've already been scrubbed from the thread in the meantime.
And so on. Bye, bye!I should probably mention that, despite all the timely reports being filed, Not a single one of these posts has been flagged—not even with a yellow card.It looks like some of them were just deleted.

To give you a little more clarity, I’ve pulled together some recent examples:
I suppose I should probably introduce myself properly to those of you who haven't seen my posts around before. My name is Biljka112. kaže:
You're absolutely right, gnu. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would even bother trying to praise this absolute clown. It feels like a complete waste of breath, really. I have to wonder who on earth is out there actually claiming that you can treat hepatitis with nothing more than some turmeric and bell peppers. I mean, really? It sounds like one of those wild wellness trends you see floating around social media, where people try to swap actual medicine for kitchen spices. I guess some folks just want to believe there's a simple, natural fix for something so serious, but honestly, it feels a bit reckless to suggest.

I suppose I should probably weigh in on this, given how much everyone seems to be buzzing about it lately. It’s one of those situations where you feel like you have to say something, even if what you have to say might just end up being a bit of a lukewarm observation. I’ve been looking over the details, and honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around the sheer scale of it all. It feels a bit overwhelming, doesn't it? Maybe that's just me, though. I tend to get caught up in the minutiae while everyone else is looking at the big picture. Still, there’s something about the way this is unfolding—it feels almost too predictable, yet somehow entirely unexpected at the same time. It's a strange paradox, I guess. I was reading some of the points brought up by Nicole Johnson20 earlier, and while I see where they're coming from, I can't help but feel that we might be overlooking a few key variables. It’s easy to get swept up in the momentum of an argument, but perhaps we should take a breath and look at the underlying mechanics a little more closely. I mean, if we don't account for the shifting landscape here in the States, aren't we just building on sand? Anyway, I don't want to sound like I'm lecturing anyone. I'm just thinking out loud. It feels like we're standing at a bit of a crossroads, and while the path forward isn't entirely clear, I suspect the answer lies somewhere in the middle ground between the extremes we're seeing right now. Or maybe I'm just overthinking things. It's hard to tell sometimes. kaže:
Were you one of the biggest jerks in the room when everyone was talking about that poor soul who passed away? Yes, you were. And do I have the right to call you out on it? I suppose I do. Does that somehow make you a bad person? I mean, I guess it depends on how you look at it, but I'm not sure there's a simple answer to that.

I suppose I should probably weigh in here, though I’m not entirely sure if my perspective carries much weight given how much we've already covered. It feels like we’re circling the same drain, doesn't it? I mean, I guess there’s a certain logic to the current direction, but I can't help but feel we might be overlooking the broader implications of what's actually happening on the ground. It’s a bit like watching a slow-motion collision in a busy intersection in Chicago—you see it coming, you know it's going to be messy, yet everyone just seems to keep driving as if nothing is out of the ordinary. Maybe I’m being overly cynical, but there’s an undeniable sense that the pieces aren't quite fitting together the way they were promised. Anyway, I'll leave it at that for now. I'm curious to see if anyone else feels this same creeping sense of uncertainty, or if it's just me overthinking things again. kaže:
And here I go again, because I really feel the need to say it one more time: I’ll never forget all those people who were sitting there, making jokes and mocking the death of that young woman. Honestly, you people are just absolute trash.

I suppose I should mention this just for the sake of transparency, though in the grand scheme of things, it’s probably pretty trivial. Personally, I don't feel like there's any real need to hand out sanctions here; I mean, this kind of behavior is perfectly acceptable within a forum setting, wouldn't you agree? 🙂

Ultimately, when it comes to the Alternative subforum, It really feels like we’re just circling the same drain over and over again. At the end of the day, everything keeps tracing back to that one fundamental issue: we don't have any moderators in place. I guess it’s no surprise that things have been spiraling like this ever since the vacancy opened up, but it’s honestly exhausting to watch the same patterns repeat themselves day after day.
Honestly, we've already gone down that rabbit hole quite extensively. We all know exactly where that road leads, so I think it's probably best if we just leave that particular can of worms closed for now. 🥱
Sabaa, I need an answer! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Here we go. I suppose we should probably get around to compiling a list of the supermodes. It feels like one of those tasks that’s been lingering on the back burner for a while, though I can't say for certain if we're actually ready to pull the trigger on it just yet. Maybe we should sit down and hammer out the specifics first? I'm open to suggestions, of course..

So, looking at the current roster, it seems like Dyma is still holding down that supermoderator position over at Alternative, but I honestly can't tell if that's actually the case or if the list is just outdated. I mean, I’ve personally reached out to him directly about a few different issues over the last three months or so, and I haven't really seen much movement. It makes me wonder if the roles have shifted behind the scenes and the site just hasn't caught up yet. That was incredibly blunt—honestly, those insults were probably worth at least 500 points on any reasonable scale. Well, to be honest, there wasn't even a single reaction. 😲So, there’s a chance that it just isn't anymore...

Roger Cooper91 said:Of course I did; I explained everything. Either you haven't been following my posts in this thread, or you’re intentionally playing dumb—which, honestly, seems to be your go-to tactic in other discussions too. Suit yourself.

It’s pretty interesting, though, how you completely dodge any specific accountability regarding how you organized that mob against a user you claimed was using the Exotericon nickname. There’s never an admission like, "Oops, I overstepped," or anything similar. You just gloss right over it like nothing ever happened.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about what you two discuss in your private messages. But don't forget: you openly bragged about reporting users via PP just because they disagreed with you. A message even leaked showing you supporting the idea that we're all just idiots or mercenaries, not to mention how you tried to spin the theory that people are reading your private messages without being admins.

You were also incredibly malicious in your last post, trying to discredit my stance on Exotericon and whether I’ve stayed consistent regarding Rorion. As the links clearly showed, I have; you haven't. To you, that was just "persecuting users," but this isn't. Naturally, you won't address your double standards, and now you're suddenly demanding links to things that have already been posted—it's almost as if you have no memory of what you actually wrote.

You keep insisting on moving this to private communication, so fine. Reach out to me there. Stop replying to me here.

Fair enough.
I’m not trying to force anything, I just suggested it because I didn't want us to drift too far off-topic here on the thread.
I'll shoot you a message later today once I've cleared my desk...

Roger Cooper91, I already told you I have no intention of turning this into a personal back-and-forth.
The way you keep targeting me here for... well, for what, exactly? (I honestly can't tell because you haven't even provided any links)...it’s the same thing; you could just send me all of this in a private message instead of cluttering up this thread with the kind of personal bickering you seem so keen on forcing. And I suppose that goes for everyone else, too.
I always have plenty of goodwill and time for people who remain civil.

Regarding the moderation situation, I'll only say three words: I have no idea who your comments about wanting to be a moderator are aimed at, since you haven't actually named anyone. Personally, after months of persistent, baseless accusations from my primary persecutor on this site claiming I have some desperate craving for a moderator role, I recently stated that it isn't even on my radar. In fact, I have never once suggested, nor have I ever shown any indication on this entire platform, that I have any interest in such a position (could you provide a link?). So, I really don't understand on what basis this one individual keeps pushing these fantasies, only to have a handful of people robotically echo them?
Ultimately, given my heavy personal commitments lately and the fact that I'm juggling two jobs, it's highly likely I'll be stepping away from the community due to a lack of time. Therefore, I am definitely not a candidate for moderator right now. 😁

What I will say, however, is that I—along with other members who witness the daily, blatant violation of the rules—repeatedly urge the administration to finally appoint a competent, unbiased, and fair moderator to the alternative section. We need someone who actually understands the subject matter they'd be overseeing, so we can finally put an end to this kind of crude disrespect and behavior that is frankly an embarrassment to our community.

1. I’ve reported Exotericon myself more than once; if nobody else is reacting, that’s not on me. And yes, I called him out specifically because of what you call "charlatanism":

2. I also said he isn't funny. I’m not part of your little cult where I have to speak on behalf of everyone who thinks he *is* entertaining. Let him explain himself. ☕

3. To be honest, I didn't think much of you before. I've been active on this sub-forum for a while, but back when I reported Rorion—when even the previous moderator tried to give him a "friendly warning" first because they were baffled by his behavior—there you were, defending him against "persecution." Even though his vocabulary was almost identical to Exotericon's (which actually made me think they were the same person for a few days). Back then, you didn't seem to mind his crude language about shoving things down throats, his antisemitism, and so on, or how he would just jump into a thread out of nowhere without any constructive input, just to say stuff like "you're stupid," or "look in the mirror, moron." Yeah, that's when I remembered you as someone who plays dumb just to aggressively defend your buddy. I already provided the link to that thread. ☕

4. Furthermore, I saw your hypocrisy firsthand when you defended another user who was provoking and insulting people by calling them clones. This was a user who had actually been punished for that exact violation. You didn't see an issue with it—not as an insult, not as trolling, nor as a breach of the standard practice on other subreddits where moderators would promptly shut down a "who is whose clone" debate and hand out penalties. No, to you, it wasn't a problem. And here you are, defending that kind of behavior. ☕

5. This habit of labeling people as clones is just a thing a few of you do, which is exactly why I consider you a cult. Among those who disagree with you, I’ve noticed maybe one or two users who went after Bonecrusher over proven cloning. I don't need to provide links; it's all right there in this thread too. You even go out of your way to call me a clone without provocation, even though I was just making a harmless point about an unverified statement being attributed to someone and questioning its relevance to the topic. And you actually consider that an attack, 🤦 so that tells you everything you need to know about your authority to judge who is being "attacked." Link:

6. You admit yourself that other users have to notify you when they are debunking people you're ignoring (your cult's terminology is that they are "attacking" you). If you don't care about those users, why don't you just shut it down? Why do you let these messengers keep reporting those users' activities to you if you're so "cool"? It's a cult. ☕

7. On top of that, you messed up when you called Exotericon a clone of another dissenter. And you admitted—publicly, mind you—that you started a campaign against that other dissenter via private messages. Since then, one of your followers has been relentlessly pushing that same narrative. Cult. ☕

8. Looking at everything said, it's obvious that you initiated certain attacks, yet you try to distance yourself from them or simply stay silent about the mess you cooked up. Cult. ☕

9. And now you want to "settle this privately"? You could have just sent me a DM from the start. 😁

He's been flying under the radar for nearly a year now; there isn't really anyone to report him to, other than opening a thread about him here on PŽK. You know as well as I do that the alternative PDF hasn't had a moderator in ages, so clicking that little triangle icon feels pretty much like shouting into a void. 🤷
That’s exactly why this thread was started, and honestly, I'm quite surprised there hasn't been any reaction from the higher-ups regarding this endless stream of insults from the same individual we've been linking. 😕

Who exactly are these "sect members"? 🤔
Could you perhaps list them and clarify what you mean?
I wasn't calling you that either; I simply said some people say they find him amusing. .
I don't think any sane person would find it entertaining when someone is constantly insulting everyone around them.
But apparently, those are the types who find it funny, whereas I certainly do not. 😁

And you're the one unprovokedly calling me a cultist and other names... I've already explained all that other stuff.

It’s been handled. I have several people on my ignore list whom I don't bother reading at all.
As for the fact that someone I chat with privately occasionally mentions how the same group of people follows me around and attacks every single one of my posts—well, that's just spontaneous. No one can stop them from doing that, I suppose. But I have already told certain individuals that I simply don't care about anything involving those people, and I’ve even suggested to some that they should ignore them too, rather than wasting their precious time and energy.

To be perfectly clear regarding the timeline, I did mention my suspicions that you were a clone during the period when you were harassing me for no reason and using those names I mentioned earlier.

I suggest we wrap this up because it's getting off-topic, and we should probably get back to the actual subject.

What kind of treatment are you looking for when you and your little cult—what else should I call people who reflexively jump in to defend your character and work at the slightest hint of criticism, as if they were personally attacked? Like some kind of brainwashed political youth wing? You spend thread after thread insulting anyone who disagrees with you, calling them nothing but clones. Look at your recent post about vaccinations; you couldn't even handle a perfectly reasonable question without labeling it a personal attack and accusing me of fraud. Honestly, being repeatedly accused of "unethical practices" is an insult to me, especially since it's clearly just a cheap ad hominem whenever you run out of actual arguments. .. 😛

No, I’m not saying Exotericon shouldn't be held accountable. I'm just reminding you of a very similar situation where you dismissed those kinds of reports as nothing more than harassment of users.

Which "all" links are we talking about?
I've looked at the two you provided, but nothing else. 🤷
Even those two don't really touch on what we're discussing; they just show a report alleging that Exotericon was being disrespectful to everyone on the forum.

The fact that others step in to "defend" me 🤦 doesn't actually constitute a violation of the forum rules. If that bothers you, maybe take it up with them; I have no part in it, so please don't drag me into it.
I suspect they aren't jumping to my defense without reason—they probably see how some of you are trying to stage a lynching without any actual basis, and they aren't blind.
Furthermore, I'm not sure where you got the right to label me a cultist.
May I ask why exactly you'd say that? Is that supposed to be a compliment or a blessing from you, or is it just a thinly veiled insult, much like when you call me a quack, a charlatan, or a guru?

It is quite interesting that you don't use those same labels for Exotericon (some even find him entertaining 😁), yet he has been writing about methods that you consider quackery, charlatanism, and total nonsense since his very first post, whereas lately, I haven't even been writing about such things. 😕
How one might explain that, I wonder. 😁

I've already shared my thoughts on that. As for why I feel that way, I believe I explained it in previous posts, and honestly, it's all far too transparent.
It’s quite interesting to me that you and a handful of other users (I say "handful" because I don't think there are actually many of you) seem to be constantly shadowing my every move across this subreddit, accusing me of just about everything under the sun. You attack every single one of my posts, and somehow, miraculously, whenever I pop up in any thread, you all suddenly appear out of thin air, united in your mission to tear down anything I write. ...(How else am I supposed to interpret it if not as being followed and hounded?) - yet, curiously enough, none of you have ever been able to provide a single link proving I've actually broken a rule!

Furthermore, I find it incredibly strange that you target me so relentlessly when we haven't even engaged in a single debate, disagreement, or conflict... nothing at all. Honestly, I wasn't even aware of your handle until you started attacking me and siding with a group that has been doing exactly this for months without producing a single shred of evidence to discredit me.
So, I truly cannot fathom the root of your hostility toward me, other than... 🙂

Given the circumstances, I'd like to suggest the following: if you have a personal grievance against me, please stop cluttering the subreddit and polluting various threads with it—just send me a private message whenever you like, and I would be more than happy to sit down and discuss this with you for as long as necessary to clear the air.
If we need to dive deeper into the details, we could even grab a coffee somewhere.
Sound fair? 😉

This goes for everyone else who keeps coming after me, too. In fact, I've already moved many of you to my ignore list, so I don't give your comments a second thought.
The funniest part is when other users I talk to privately tell me that the same group of people is still attacking me, even though I can't even see their posts anymore. 😁
So, my suggestion to you and everyone else is this: reach out via DM instead of bothering the community or the threads with my trivialities.
If you genuinely believe I'm violating the rules, you know how to follow the proper procedures.

Harassment is when someone is being systematically and visibly targeted, provoked, mocked, and accused in nearly every single post they make—all without providing any actual arguments or links to prove that any rules were actually broken.

The situation with Exotericon is entirely different.
What we are dealing with here are the most blatant violations of the subreddit rules imaginable , and it is all backed up by a mountain of links clearly documenting it.
There are nearly 50 links posted so far (if I'm not mistaken), where even a child could see that this individual is being insulting to everyone around him in every thread he enters.
Is that not sufficient proof?
Do we really need another 50 links before he gets a yellow card, or perhaps even just has his posts deleted on the grounds of "the wolf ate the donkey"?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I suggest we stick to the topic at hand. For everything else, I've laid out a specific and very well-intentioned proposal that applies to everyone.
Best regards! 👋

As for me, I’m the one being constantly harassed from post to post with claims that I'm a guru, a charlatan, or a snake oil salesman.

Now, dear Roger Cooper91, let's not overcomplicate things—we are talking about blatant verbal abuse, not just the expression of subjective doubts.
In my view, it isn't an insult to suggest someone might be a clone; you're entitled to your opinion, or rather, your suspicion... but it is absolutely an insult when you call someone an idiot, a bastard, stupid, a freak, or a mindless animal. And I won't even get started on the other terms Exotericon uses to "honor" every single user on these forums daily; we have already quoted and linked to a massive amount of that right here.
And he's really the only one doing it.

If you truly believe others are behaving this way, please, feel free to provide some citations.

On a serious note, this thread is getting absolutely spammed. The vocabulary here—and I’m not just talking about Exotericon—has devolved into nothing but insults. Between the constant trolling and the blatant accusations that everyone is just a bot or a clone (which is painfully obvious in this very thread), it’s becoming genuinely unpleasant to read. And you know how this works: once one person gets away with insulting others without consequence, it quickly turns into a shared language among a group of people. This has been going on for over a month now. Honestly, just cracking down on the insults would be a massive relief for everyone.

That isn't quite right, I'm afraid.
He’s really the only one consistently stirring up actual trouble here. It’s not just a one-off thing, either; he does it relentlessly, post after post. Exotericon just can't seem to help themselves with those constant, blunt insults they hurl at everyone. It’s becoming quite a pattern, really.

If you truly believe—as you’ve put it—that the vocabulary used by other users on this Reddit (and not just Exotericon) boils down to nothing but insults, then I would kindly ask you to be so good as to link a few examples of such posts. A few other users on the forum... What exactly do they represent? Insulting others..
If that were actually the case, I’d be the first one to step up and link them myself. But honestly, posts like that just don't exist here. It seems like the only target being singled out is Exotericon, and frankly, that's pretty much all he’s focused on since the day he signed up. He practically announced right in his very first post that he’s a clone:

So, which topic should we dive into first? New user Does anyone here actually know what a rabbit pass is? It feels like it’s been several years now. ?
(Keep in mind, when he actually sat down to write that post, his account had only been active for three days.) 😁

Regarding a rather blatant violation of the rules concerning formatting... I think we should probably stop posting private messages on the public boards. It just feels a bit off, doesn't it? Moving those conversations to direct messages would probably keep things a lot cleaner for everyone else. Well, let's just say it’s a bit of a "yes and no" situation...

Well, here we go. I suppose we should brace ourselves, because I’m expecting another massive volley of crude insults to start flying around today... 🙂

bluemason3 said:On a handful of forums where I’m active, I can recall at least three specific instances where a moderator was actually removed from their post. It isn't exactly unheard of, though. Then again, when you consider that about 70% of users—and practically 100% of moderators dealing with sensitive files or PDFs—are just looking for something to download and end up constantly harassing others, I suppose it’s hardly surprising that things aren't handled quite so easily just because someone decides to complain.

Well, I actually wasn't aware of those specific instances. And I have to say, I completely agree—you’d need a mountain of concrete, undeniable evidence to actually justify removing a moderator. I suppose there will always be someone out there who takes issue with how a forum is moderated simply because the rules don't align with their personal worldview or their ego. That’s probably why we see such a high volume of reports in the first place; people tend to get defensive when things don't go their way, but... Look, I feel like we need to have a serious conversation about the role of moderation here. A moderator’s job is pretty straightforward: they should enforce the rules exactly as they are written. If someone hasn't actually broken a rule, then the moderator should just let it go and move on. It seems to me that if there isn't a clear violation, there shouldn't be any intervention at all. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but consistency matters if we want this community to function properly.

Jonathan Wright2 said:The atmosphere here feels incredibly stifling. Under Zoran Oštrić’s watchful eye, there's just no room for actual freedom or genuine creativity. It feels like the spirit of the community has been crushed into this rigid, predictable mold. I guess you almost feel forced to write exactly what he predicts or exactly how he thinks things should be laid out. It's all becoming quite stiflingly structured.

Perhaps a person is simply trying to stick strictly to the forum rules, making sure things don't spiral out of control?

Look, I haven't really dug into that PDF yet, so I definitely don't want to pass any judgment since I wouldn't be in any position to do so. That said, I might take a closer look at it later, now that I've stumbled upon this whole discussion...
However, I’m struggling to find any actual links here that back up these claims, let alone anything substantial enough to draw a conclusion from. It feels like we're missing the evidence needed to make sense of this.
It seems to me that simply pointing fingers at someone based solely on your word isn't exactly a solid way to go about things, is it? I mean, if we're just going to throw accusations around without any real substance, where does it end? It feels a bit reckless, honestly. It seems like we’re operating without any actual arguments being presented via links here. I guess it makes things a bit difficult to follow the logic if there isn't any direct evidence or source material provided to back up the claims. It feels a little hollow, doesn't it? Maybe it's just my way of thinking, but I usually prefer seeing the groundwork before jumping into the deep end.I honestly believe there’s just no point in going down this road, and frankly, I don't think anyone would consider it legitimate or well-founded. You really ought to keep that in mind.

I don't really hang out in the subforum moderated by Zoran Oštrić, but I have noticed some occasional complaints floating around—though, honestly, I can't say for sure if they're actually justified.

Speaking from experience, I'd say you don't stand much of a chance at getting a moderator removed, regardless of how right you are or how hard you try to bury them under a mountain of logic.
They aren't going to pull him from his position. It’s just never happened here.
The only instance I can recall was when one moderator decided to step down entirely, retreating into their own little corner after being absolutely dismantled in an argument, and they haven't moderated since. 😁

It seems like there simply aren't enough people willing to step up and waste at least two hours every single day on threads they don't even care about... meanwhile, those who *do* care about the topics usually don't fit the administration's mold.
That's why the forum starts feeling chaotic, and frankly, that's a recipe for disaster.

But hey, I'm a perpetual optimist.

As for these specific debates, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see the truth come out—wherever the facts eventually lead us.🤷

I think, purely for the sake of fairness, the Alternative PDF should receive equal treatment. If it were run the way you’re suggesting, what would anyone even be allowed to write in Alternative? Hemp oil? Since doctors prescribe that now, it isn't even "alternative" anymore—so that would be it?

Of course it's fine. 👍
If I were to jump into a thread about comic books and write a massive post about playing chess, I’d actually be grateful if the mods just moved it over to the chess board instead of hitting me with a ban.
But just imagine if the alternative sub-forum was moderated with that kind of quality... 90% of the posts lately would have been moved, but they wouldn't even end up in science or medicine because most of the trolls don't actually write about science or medicine at all—mostly because they don't have a clue—so they'd just be moved to the off-topic lounge or deleted forever for breaking the rules.

Every sub-forum should receive equal treatment, and everyone should strictly follow the established rules for the forum and its sub-sections.
And honestly, it wouldn't be any problem at all.

I’m not saying it won't change in the future, but that requires actual, real-world results. And if those results truly manifest, then the mainstream media will eventually start reporting on them.
What’s being written here on this forum is incredibly dangerous. People are recommending certain diets to cure cancers when they haven't personally cured a single soul in their lives. You can tell by the way they post. Some of them don't even grasp the basics of biology. Look, I’m no biology expert myself, but I don't go around claiming I am or pretending I can cure every disease out there.

People die from driving cars, too; driving is a stressor that shortens your life. I don't see any reason why someone shouldn't die from chemotherapy—it's the best tool we currently have (scientifically proven). In some branches of medicine, we are still stuck in the Middle Ages. 🤷

People in the alternative health community always preach about freedom of speech, but let's be real: it isn't absolute. Just because you have the right to say whatever crosses your mind doesn't mean you have the right to put other people in harm's way. The reality is that this sub-forum has become a complete free-for-all where people post just about anything under the sun.
If we were living back in Nazi Germany, I could easily claim I had the right to target a Jewish family just because society at the time deemed it acceptable, and then act confused when anyone dared to object to my "rights."

Once again, you're intentionally twisting things in that classic style of yours, yet whenever I ask for a link, you can never seem to produce one.
Do you perhaps want to provide the links to those sites you just mentioned? 😁

Do you really think it would be better if they were suggesting methods that don't actually do anything at all?🤦
So, in your view, would it be better if people just stopped discussing the topic altogether?

As long as everything stays within the scope of the thread and doesn't violate the Reddit rules or the laws of the USA, I don't see any reason why people shouldn't talk about it. In fact,, I'd say it's actually encouraged—to discuss the subject at hand.
If someone doesn't like it or simply isn't interested, I don't see much point in them showing up and wasting their precious time.

Just a little reminder: at the beginning of every thread, the original poster explicitly states what the discussion will cover.
For instance, the creator of the raw food thread explained it right in the very first sentence of the intro post.
Therefore, the topic is specifically about nutrition and healing through raw food. 😉

I assume it's pretty obvious to you what each individual sub-forum covers.
Specifically, for the alternative section, it clearly states—a Noetic approach to reality.
And next to the Alternative Healing PDF, it says—Alternative Healing - Everything that falls outside of mainstream medicine.

I truly believe you finally understand what kind of content belongs in these PDFs and threads.

Hmm... excuse me, but by what authority, what credentials, or what evidence are you accusing someone of putting others in danger?
By that same logic, I could argue that *you* are the one putting people at risk, since you just went out of your way to claim it's dangerous to write "about diets that cure cancer."
So, does that mean on a PDF dedicated to alternative healing, people aren't allowed to discuss alternative ways of healing? 😵
Are you joking, or have you perhaps gotten a bit carried away?

Anyway, I noticed that there's a subtle push toward off-topic chatter, even though this thread was started because of a problematic user (as the original poster mentioned in her first post), who is clearly a clone and constantly insults people.

Here are some of his latest examples of being abusive, which I'm bringing to the attention of the supermoderators and the admin team:
Quote : Exotericon said:You are totally lost and have no idea what you're talking about; I get the impression you're in a major life crisis and you're looking for solace here by attacking idiots.

Quote : Exotericon said:I don't, you idiot, I didn't "insult" him with anything; I simply called him out for his unjustified mockery regarding the connection between Americans and that inscription in Tanais, not to mention his pro-Mexican bias.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can't truly grasp where we're headed with tech without considering the soul of the matter, and vice versa. It’s all part of the same complex tapestry, isn't it? I suppose you know the average price for a dog, right?

Well, here we go again. To the administration, and to stormyrider28... I posted the link. He’s just throwing out a massive pile of insults directed at this user, and honestly, he's really going for it. If only he had reported them in time.

I can't help but wonder why everyone is just sitting there, completely ignoring and tuning out these blatant, constant violations of the rules. It’s honestly baffling.

Thanks for listening, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day ahead.

These discussions are incredibly valuable, so it’s a massive waste when this happens. There's really only one reason why: zero moderation. Because of that, these threads turn into a total war zone where people are constantly using trash language (honestly, I’d probably say some pretty wild stuff myself if I were provoked)...

You guys locked the thread on cancer treatment—and from what I can see, even the whole holistic movement is at risk of getting shut down. Either lock the entire section so the alternative medicine crowd can just move elsewhere, or actually find a moderator....

If you don't know how to moderate alternative topics, or if you think it's "wrong" to speak out against mainstream medicine and you're terrified of running into potential snake oil salesmen—there’s an easy fix here.

First off, implement a zero-tolerance policy for insults. Given everything that's gone down over the last year, that tolerance should be even lower than it is in other parts of the Forum until things settle down. Regarding medical advice, also set a zero-tolerance rule for any mention of conventional medicine—whether it's pro or con. If specific alternative advice becomes problematic, you can tighten things up by defining the thread to focus on explaining individual alternative concepts. That way, you present the theory behind why certain methods might help various ailments without giving anyone permission to push a specific agenda on others. It stays a place where people can learn about different approaches to fighting illness and decide for themselves if something holds water or if it could actually help them....

As for the snake oil issue—you don't even need to worry about that, even if a moderator isn't well-versed in basic alternative principles; most of us are. Today, there are maybe 5 or 6 major alternative concepts that basically overlap in their essence. Any nonsense like "take this pill or this supplement and do a handstand and you'll be cured instantly" would be flagged and reported to a mod immediately. At the end of the day, that's in the best interest of those of us into alternatives, especially since most of us are fed up with the "magic cloak" bullshit that gets used to label and discriminate against alternative medicine.... just like it's in the interest of the community to avoid insults and wasting energy on pointless arguments...

There's another huge point that I'm almost certain the mods or super-mods aren't realizing: these threads (especially when they aren't filled with madness) act as a platform for alternative progress—like a little lab...

Let me explain that with an example everyone can get behind—like the use of hemp in medical treatments, which mainstream medicine is increasingly adopting...

We still don't even know all the fields or the various ways hemp can be utilized—and honestly, mainstream medicine doesn't know either. On these threads, that kind of stuff is researched, questioned, and shared through experience. I personally learned a ton from this—especially regarding small, practical, extremely useful details like how hemp can be consumed, in what amounts, what it can be combined with, whether there are contraindications with other therapies, or side effects that people struggle with. On that note, I can mention that I learned from our colleague here how (specifically regarding the method of consumption) you can reduce the negative side effects of hemp, helping people who usually get wiped out by it to actually be able to use it in their treatment, etc...

Like I said—this is our lab. There are no others. This stuff doesn't get funded, and there's a massive lack of scientific research in alternative fields. This is the only place where it actually happens—trying to make progress in the most basic way possible using fundamental scientific methods: observation, statistics, and trial-and-error based on personal positive or negative experiences, or those of people close to us. You can throw in some serious alternative literature, and that's it. Given all that, I think the importance of these threads should be obvious to you; it goes way beyond just some random rambling or alternative chatter....

Look, it’d be smarter to either bring in some mods or just kill this thread entirely. This whole status quo thing is doing nothing but hurting the alternatives and this entire Forum

P.S. Shout out to Gregory Ramirez2, Elizabeth Jackson, and the rest of the crew on this thread—as you guys probably noticed, I’ve been MIA for a while. If things settle down, I might pop back in, but until then, good luck with the research. Try to focus on the actual field instead of wasting all your energy fighting over nonsense...🎉

Later, Amy Rogers6

Regarding the cancer treatment topic, it was previously stated that it would reopen in just a few days.
Since that announcement, 96 days have passed, and it’s still nowhere to be seen. 😲
The reason?
Is it Nica...?

As for the raw food discussions, I've actually mentioned elsewhere that there is this one individual—someone we all know, who operates through several clone accounts—who is making a deliberate, constant effort to derail things with insults. These are quite blunt attacks, which, for some inexplicable reason, aren't even being sanctioned. It feels like they are trying to force the thread to close.
Their modus operandi is pretty straightforward and follows the exact same pattern we saw with the cancer treatment thread: if you bury a topic under the very things moderators and admins are most sensitive to—namely, constant and crude insults—then once enough reports pile up, someone will report everything from a specific handle to the administration. The admins usually just take the path of least resistance and, citing "constant disorder within the thread" (disorder that only exists because they haven't appointed a moderator in nearly a year), they simply shut the whole thing down.

That seems to be the goal for people like this—to get these topics closed—and it’s becoming crystal clear to all of us that they do it to protect their own interests.
I mean, anyone can see that certain individuals come to the alternative section solely to obstruct discussions—by attacking, insulting, trolling, and going completely off-topic.
They don't have a single constructive, on-topic post to their name; they exist only to target other forum members. Some of these profiles were created quite recently and have already racked up hundreds of posts exclusively in the alternative section, yet every single one is identical: disparaging alternative views and attacking anyone who dares to write about these subjects.

Furthermore, it is highly interesting that not a single post linked by stormyrider28 has received a single strike—not even a yellow card—despite involving extremely harsh insults that he claims to have reported directly to the admins (since there are no moderators present)!!!
Why hasn't this been penalized, especially when it was reported so clearly, and why is even this specific thread on the PŽK open just to discuss this particular user? 🤷

That’s actually an excellent suggestion. 👍
Because if we were discussing alternative methods within a thread dedicated to conventional medicine, we’d be considered off-topic and would probably deserve a warning.
So, I suppose the question is: why doesn't that same logic apply here?

In my view, a moderator doesn't need six college degrees or a 280 IQ to get the job done.
And yet, there hasn't been any real moderation for nearly a year.
I find myself wondering, what's the reason for that?
Why aren't the blatant insults that stormyrider28 linked being sanctioned?
There have even been new instances of verbal abuse from that same individual, though I don't quite have the time right now to dig up the specific links given everything on my plate; I think I've made my point sufficiently.

And even if someone actually has the spare time to volunteer, they’re probably going to pick something that looks better on a resume—at least that's my take. Maybe others don't see it that way, but it’s obvious to me why more and more sub-forums are being left completely unmoderated.

But honestly? That's no excuse. You can't just let slimy, vulgar garbage be posted all over the Forum without any pushback from the people in charge. This stuff is showing up in PDFs and threads that are being read by seriously ill people—people who have absolutely nothing to do with LJES.

I’ve noticed a few things regarding this matter myself. It makes me wonder—are we seeing the beginning of the end for this Forum?
If this lack of moderation continues to bleed into other topics, I suppose it isn't particularly difficult to predict exactly where this is all heading. It feels like an inevitable slide.

It seems more than obvious that there are certain people for whom this particular topic—and honestly, this entire sub-forum—is the single biggest thorn in their side. It’s become quite a defining feature of their lives, I suppose. Still, I have to admit, I always find a certain quiet satisfaction in watching them obsessively dwell on the very things that seem to bother them so deeply. 😁

bluemason3 said:Just two things. They have to want to moderate the alternative section, and they need to be at least somewhat mentally stable.

An oxymoron, obviously. So, nothing's happening there.

And just who exactly is deciding all of this? I mean, what kind of criteria are they actually using, what methods are being applied, and what sort of qualifications do these people even possess to make such determinations? 🤷
You’re basically calling me Superman, bluemason3, just because I stepped up to moderate. That’s incredibly kind of you, though I’d say I was more of a steady hand on the wheel than a caped crusader. 🙏

Sandra Kern37, please, let’s not be quite so obvious about it. Could you at least try to vary your writing style? 🤦
Consider yourself ignored from here on out, and that goes for this handle too. Happy New Year. 👋

Daniel Davis40 and Gregory Ramirez2, I think you both hit the nail on the head. 🙂

I feel quite certain, even from the very first post in this thread, that the admins are just going to tune us out. They’ll either dodge giving a straight answer or they'll just shut the whole topic down—which, if we're being honest, is what's happened a few times already. And yet, we still don't have any moderators in sight... who knows how much longer this will drag on... regardless of all that "intense effort" supposedly being poured into finding someone....

So, if I may be so bold as to ask— what kind of impossible standards does someone actually have to meet to alternative moderate this place properly and follow the rules of the Forum and its sub-sections?
I’m really not trying to be difficult here; I am genuinely curious since we haven't had any moderation for nearly a year now 🤦 and I believe we have a democratic right as users to expect the admins or supermods to actually give us a direct answer. I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering about these criteria.

The reason I'm asking is that I simply can't wrap my head around it. How is it possible that in ten months, they haven't found a single genius among the hundreds of thousands of registered users? Out of the dozens of active, on-topic members who have gone years without so much as a single warning, people who actually enjoy and understand the discussions in the PDFs and would likely moderate with high quality and integrity—even as volunteers?
It seems statistically impossible that such people don't exist.

Given that this search for a moderator has been going on for so long (it’s probably a record for any online community globally), I suppose you're looking for someone who is essentially flawless—someone whom absolutely no one could ever find a single thing to complain about.
As someone who is very active in the alternative section, I would truly love nothing more than for that to be the case.

To wrap things up, I have one very pointed question:
- What is the justification for not sanctioning any of the posts our colleague linked , when every single one of them represents the most blatant insults imaginable?
Please, just don't tell me we were supposed to report them by clicking the little icon and then wait... because we all know there are no moderators to see them, making clicking that button about as useful as barking at the moon....

I truly believe the administrators are doing their absolute best and are genuinely trying to make everyone’s experience here on the Forum as pleasant as possible.
That said, the blatant rule-breaking by Exotericon has honestly crossed a line, and it seems to be happening simply because there isn't a moderator present to step in, leaving everyone to basically do whatever they please. 🤷

Despite all the respect I have for the administration, one thing remains deeply baffling to me...how is it even possible that after more than nine months, the admins haven't managed to find even a single moderator for the alternative sub-forum? 🤷
How is that even feasible???
Can anyone please convince me that not a single soul in nine whole months was qualified enough to moderate the alternative section? 🙂
Does one need some sort of specialized certification, an associate degree, a bachelor's, or perhaps even two...???
Because at this rate, it feels like you need a PhD just to find someone, considering it's been nearly a year... 🤦

Honestly, folks, in nine months you could have picked out a leader for the entire space—not even the President of the United States, but the President of space itself...you surely could have found volunteers willing to fly a 1969-era tin can all the way to Pluto.

I realize this is all volunteer work, 🙂and I get that nobody wants to work for free or spend two hours a day on something they aren't passionate about.
However, I am just as certain that there are plenty of people interested in alternative topics who would moderate with enthusiasm, quality, and integrity, which would prevent these kinds of gross rule violations from occurring.
Some users have put names forward, and I personally have suggested a few people myself, but apparently, that's not how it works; 🙂, they're being chosen differently......🙂

How much longer is this status quo going to last, and how much longer must we endure insults and all these other breaches of conduct on the sub-forum?
How much longer will threads on the PŽK be shut down simply because we are asking for what we are entitled to under the forum's own rules?

I would like to ask the administration, and specifically Nico, to provide a straightforward answer and finally resolve this issue that has been dragging on for months.

Thank you, and warm regards to everyone.

I think it’s high time we laid all the cards on the table... folks, let’s stop kidding ourselves!

Exotericon is actually Ethan Brooks59.

This clone profile was created just a week ago (November 27, 2018). He dropped a few posts in the politics section at the start just to look inconspicuous, and then suddenly he pivoted hard toward raw food, flooding everything with anecdotes about cures and constant insults. 🤔

The modus operandi is transparent and quite familiar and the ultimate goal of this pathetic little comedy is obvious—it’s the exact same thing we saw over in the cancer treatment thread. The strategy is to bury the topic under a mountain of insults because that’s what moderators and admins are most sensitive to. Then, once enough vitriol has piled up—since there isn't a moderator around to step in and clean things up in the meantime—the posts will be reported to Nice and the entire thread will be shut down due to prolonged arguing and harassment, which is his end game.

The exact same thing
happened in the cancer treatment thread: a sickeningly persistent and brazen barrage of nasty insults intended to keep the thread active until it could be shuttered. Now, we are seeing an identical pattern with the exact same objective. The only difference is that back then he was using his main profile, whereas here he set up a clone specifically for this occasion, planting a "telltale egg" that's easy to crack since he immediately started posting about miraculous cures.

There is something else that further confirms my suspicions: Ethan Brooks59 hasn't said a single word against Exotericon, even though this guy is spewing insults and talking about the very things that Ethan Brooks59 always fiercely attacks and finds deeply upsetting—natural healing methods and their actual results.
However, curiously enough, nothing Exotericon brought up was labeled as quackery, something Ethan Brooks59 has done repeatedly for months and years. On the contrary, during Exotericon's outbursts, Ethan Brooks59 was constantly attacking me and focusing entirely on me in his usual style—accusing me of non-existent insults, calling me a quack, labeling me some kind of guru, and attacking every single one of my posts (he has me on ignore, but three other members notified me, so I read them). Yet, absolutely nothing from Exotericon bothered him at all.
It's just so transparent...🤦

There is one more detail that many people likely missed:
Right in his very first post on the thread, Exotericon practically outed himself as a clone:
Exotericon said:And don't pay any attention to this Zecopas fellow, I've known him for a couple of years from another thread where he showed a serious lack of intelligence.

So, he supposedly knows Zecopas from a different thread a couple of years ago.
How is that possible if he only registered a week ago? 😁
It's clearly a clone.
Interestingly, though, Zecopas didn't seem to notice at all and didn't call him out for being a clone. Neither did Ethan Brooks59. How naive. 😁

Finally, this post in the raw food thread really puts the final nail in the coffin, because you can see Ethan Brooks59's writing style so clearly, along with his very recognizable behavioral patterns (the arrogance, the rudeness, the aggression, the constant insults...) that it's practically glaring:
Quote : Exotericon said:How on earth am I "lowering myself" to his level? That’s physically impossible. This guy is attacking natural methods that have been proven to help—which means he’s potentially leading people toward death—and yet he’s acting like a complete moron. For the sake of God and basic morality, calling him an idiot isn't "stooping"; it's just common sense and justice. And you, coming after me (or anyone else here) for rightfully labeling him an idiot by saying we're "lowering ourselves"... honestly, your post reeks of hypocrisy.

Well, that’s just how things stand, for the record.

I trust the administration will handle this in a high-quality, fair manner by holding those responsible for this situation accountable, so that we can all get back to having a normal discussion on the topic.

Best regards to everyone.
Nicole Johnson20 said:I’m really not sure what you found so brilliant about my post

Well, for one, you suggested they just ignore him instead of spending their entire lives writing endless Markov commentaries about his every move. And it was also quite helpful when you advised them not to waste their energy on him at all. In my opinion, stellar advice.

Nicole Johnson20 said:since you took my post as if you agreed with it, only to then say something I didn't even remotely intend to imply

Fair enough. I started by agreeing with your point, and then I simply added some of my own observations. If I overstepped by doing that, I sincerely apologize.

Nicole Johnson20 said:The guy is just trolling, provoking people, and completely wrecking the NRZ threads.

It seems like you might not be following that subforum closely, because that isn't actually the case.
Do you have any links that could back up that claim?

If you take a look at the threads where Robert Fox78 posts, you'll see he stays on topic. He isn't being insulting, he isn't attacking anyone, and he isn't looking for fights. It's actually the opposite—other users tend to dogpile him simply because they can't handle differing perspectives or they dislike how he expresses himself. They attack him constantly, yet he hasn't broken a single rule. That's precisely why he hasn't received a warning.

Nicole Johnson20 said:just because there isn't a moderator response doesn't mean a rule wasn't broken (as I've noticed myself, sometimes there's a reaction even when no rules were violated at all).

That is true.

Nicole Johnson20 said:I suspect you're already aware of that, but choosing to provoke me here feels pretty unnecessary, and frankly, it doesn't reflect well on you.

If that’s truly your perspective, then I find that quite concerning.
