These photos are timeless... they aren't just about our history and the foundation of this group (despite all the drama...), but they serve as proof of how we stand together through every crowd. Does anyone recognize which game these old shots of the North Side are from? (Robert Cooper60, check those previous two links in post 5090...) Also, that guy wearing the Bad Boys gear (with the hip-hop lettering) ended up hanging out on the East Side later on. Guys, just go ahead and post whatever you want—glue it, stick it, share it... you won't hurt anyone (except maybe some jealous haters...). I have plenty of them ready to go, I just haven't figured out the whole process of getting them uploaded yet. It feels like rocket science to me... and I've only managed to track down a few since my days back in high school... but once I find the right person to help with the images, there will definitely be more...

If you had even a shred of decency, maybe you wouldn't have to look so damn shady...

They were taken by the police, so they feel more like documentary shots than typical fan photos. You can see banners for the Bad Boys of Dinamo... there are even a few guys in uniform. If anyone was actually at that game and wants a memory, I could post one here...

Could you send one via DM?
Hospital visitation bans in Health ·
It actually makes sense why visits to the ICU are strictly banned... Given how critical the diagnoses are, life hangs by a thread. For instance, someone recovering from a stroke might succumb to a simple infection, which nurses tell us is often the primary cause of death. It’s usually a secondary infection; even just breathing the air exposes you to natural bacteria, but when an organism is that exhausted and depleted, its immune response just fails... making them highly vulnerable to even benign infections.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...3935476&type=3 John Martin18 is making up for those bruised knees on the field... strictly for Apostle12... (after 25 years of boycotting). On the screen, we see Mojo from the outskirts of downtown, celebrating in his favorite jersey.

Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year filled with good vibes. Best, John Martin18.

"A true New Yorker has to be a fan and a tough guy at the same time... They might roam the Ocean, but they always stay versatile and kind. Anything is better than being a sellout for the blue team—whether it’s their own guys or those from the Mississippi River... A real New Yorker prioritizes their own while respecting others. And truth and honesty? You never hide those from anyone. Whether they're being honest or just being nice, once they clench their fist... Well, many back during the war felt that strength. Razbil would lose his head if you insulted his mother... But for half the year, he’d be right there with you, singing songs about Dinamo with a guitar. Of course, he loves New York City like it's his own backyard. Since he's a real New Yorker, he doesn't look for anything better. Everyone finds happiness there and lives out their days... And for hundreds of years, alongside Dinamo, he'll always be there."

Exactly. It’s pretty obvious why they're getting out there in the first place...

It’s pretty interesting how journalists report on flares being lit by Leicester City, FC Copenhagen, or Borussia Dortmund fans during the UEFA Champions League... they frame it as this dignified celebration of the club, yet I read that in Norway, there's actually been a legal motion filed just to allow fans to light flares normally without facing any penalties. It's a different world over there compared to what we see here...

By the way—looking ahead to the trip to Memphis, I noticed the response for the 25th anniversary is already massive. They’re saying they expect around 100,000 people, which is huge. Honestly, I think it’s smarter to just take the train or a shuttle bus... it's more organized and you actually get to see the sights. Last time we drove ourselves, the traffic was a nightmare because the river area had so many roads blocked off, forcing everyone onto the backroads... We barely managed to make it to the tank before grabbing a coffee at the Pipetov cafe and heading straight back to New York City. (Just a heads up, driving your own car isn't worth it at all...)

The banner belonged to the locals during the New York-Philadelphia game on October 22nd, the one featuring the two shields.

True.
Actually, even back in the pre-war days, they carried those long banners (Z.K.) during that era when our optimism was truly boundless...😁

Hey, do you know if there's anything left from the Madness days... specifically that visually stunning banner (which was honestly one of my favorites...) that had "Blue Madness" on it? There was also that "Charlie Chaplin" transit banner back in the day, though I mostly saw it over by the East stands. Even the Dugav fans had their own banner... usually paired with the drinks that were basically a staple witness to all those events.

Let those delusions wash over you, maybe share some of that magic with us too...

Not really, I was just flipping tickets for the north stands...
Not quite, those are genes... and chromosomes are what carry all those inherited traits. Basically, your phenotype is how you look on the outside based on what you picked up from your parents or grandparents, while your genotype is more about who you are on the inside—your core character and such...

Back at the 2:10 mark, I made a point of not kneeling for them. I told them straight up that I couldn't, and used my disability ID as my reasoning. Honestly, I could write a whole memoir about how people act when they see that card... There were so many times she pulled me out of a tight spot, letting me go early or keeping me from being detained. She even covered for me more times than I can count, whether it was getting me out of trouble at games or during traffic stops... But truthfully, I pushed things too far a long time ago. One night in the neighborhood, after having a few too many, I decided to act tough and challenge them. They called in backup and absolutely leveled me. I don't even remember how many zip ties they used before they hauled me into the ER... It took two officers just to keep me from falling apart...🤦

Has the police force finally cleaned up their act and started treating you all like human beings at Yankee Stadium instead of animals?

Is it still such a heavy-handed crackdown compared to back when they were "slaughtering" people by checking ticket and seat numbers, holding everyone back, and so on?

I'm not trying to be provocative here, so thanks in advance if anyone responds.

Look, nobody is going to ban you or ignore you, because I'll give you an answer. The worst repression was back during the San Francisco era. Not to get into the whole thing about rights and how it felt like a Gebelsov camp—just an empty stadium—but because of the constant frisking. You’d get searched three times at every entrance, say near the East gate, and then follow that with bans checks all the way to the stands. So, roughly three searches plus a ban check before you even sit down... without exaggerating. With an empty stadium of maybe 800 or 1,000 people, it could take you 45 minutes just to get in. Get the picture? I haven't been to many games since then, but I suppose the higher-ups eventually realized those tactics lead nowhere. It's more tolerable now, but honestly... you know what they say, a hungry man doesn't believe the talk...

"Every member of this veteran group served during the war, traveling all across America from St. Augustine down to Venice. Many were wounded, and some aren't with us anymore. Some served in the 1st Guards, a couple were in the Texas Rangers, and others were part of the 2nd Guards, as Black Mountain recalls. But when we get together, we rarely talk about the combat... instead, it's mostly just joking around and reminiscing about the good old days."

Honestly, every time there’s a high-risk game announced, my family comes home and asks if I’m planning to go. If I say no, they make me sign some paperwork... I have to wonder, what kind of crowd am I part of?...

It doesn't really matter, as long as the cheering stays at roughly this level... and without all those selfies and random phone pictures everywhere.
