Just think about how much less impactful Rambo would have been if Sylvester Stallone hadn't been a Green Beret... Or, for that matter, how mediocre Commandos would have felt if Arnold Schwarzenegger hadn't actually served as a commando himself. Jab... they've essentially banned all truth, just twisting facts for the sake of the screen.
Chuck Norris fought, Bruce Lee fought, Steven Seagal fought, but this guy? Not even close.
I don't really watch movies in the background—what’s the point of that? Am I supposed to be watching a film while simultaneously reading a book? I find myself flipping through channels from time to time, but it's different. For instance, the other day I had *Lethal Weapon* playing in the background while I was making dinner—though, honestly, that was only because I’ve seen it a dozen times already. I just wanted to see Joe Pesci; he always manages to crack me up... Still, when you're actually cooking, you really ought to give the food your full attention if you want it to turn out right.
...the images are scaled down—and I’d really appreciate it if everyone else could stick to smaller images moving forward, just to keep things readable 🙂

That’s a fair point, but that chase sequence in Ronin is genuinely top-tier. Besides, you have John Frankenheimer behind the camera—a true veteran of the craft. Here is the first and the second, so enjoy...
Well, you all have a point there... Anyone who hasn't seen the films yet really ought to start with the originals first... But personally, I think watching them in chronological order would be the way to go.
