So, did he actually get soaked? That tobacco 😉

Maybe try tossing in an apple peel, a sprig of fresh basil, or something else along those lines—just something bright and fresh to wake it up.

Google is basically your best friend if you actually use it

But look, I'll just drop the link here so you don't wear yourself out searching for it...

I think I’ll revive this thread for a second... is there actually anyone left in here who still listens to Oi!?
Lately, my rotation has been pretty much stuck on a few specific names: Angelic Upstarts, Sham 69, Perkele, Argy Bargy, The Business, Cock Sparrer... just that raw stuff.

It’s looking possible that I might show up 🙏

I’m sticking to Nescafé lately... I just can't stomach the taste of regular coffee anymore.

Ten ten thousand bucks... honestly, that would actually go a long way...

I’ve had those nights, you know? A few times when I’d had a bit too much to drink and just blacked out completely—woke up feeling like I’d been hit by a freight train with zero memory of how I even hit the pillow...
but generally speaking, no, that isn't really my usual deal.

And here I was, under the impression that you actually smoked weed with that... turns out I was dead wrong.

I started out strictly on the rock and metal scene back in late elementary school, mostly sticking to those classic, foundational bands that defined the genre...
pa once high school rolled around, I drifted into heavy metal and punk, but somehow I ended up circling back. These days, my rotation is pretty much limited to punk, ska, Oi!, and just the occasional bit of rock...

I haven't really crossed paths with Non Servium yet. From what I gather, they lean more toward that hardcore sound, and honestly, Landser was never really my cup of tea...
Lately, I've been spending most of my time spinning Close Combat, Wretched Ones, Argy Bargy, Booted Cocks, Funeral Dress, and Lower Class Brats...
If you haven't given any of those bands a spin, do yourself a favor and check them out. They're absolutely killer...

I’m curious to get your take on this genre. Do you guys actually listen to it, and which bands do you think are worth a shot?

Basically, the Oi! movement is where skinhead culture and punk collide.
The first wave brought us names like Cock Sparrer, Cockney Rejects, Black Flag, and Sham 69...
Then you have the second wave—bands like The Business, The Last Resort, The 4-Skins, Combat 84, Condemned 84, Infa-Riot, The Blood, The Oppressed, and Anti-Heroes...
And so on...
There aren't many local American bands doing this properly, though you can stumble upon a few if you look hard enough...

Personally, I spin quite a bit of this stuff. I even managed to catch a few live shows back in the day, seeing acts like Cockney Rejects, PTTTB, and Lost Fastidios...

One thing, though—please don't try to conflate certain (quasi) nationalist movements with the music itself. They might share some superficial ties, but they aren't the same thing...

slywolf45 said:Maybe about 15. And I've actually talked to maybe three or four of them.

I just don't get people who maintain a list of 100 contacts on Microsoft. I'd bet my life savings that 70% of those people aren't even real connections. What's the point? It feels like that old MySpace vanity era where everyone tried to brag about having hundreds of thousands of friends just to look important. It's hollow.🤷🙄

I have about 100 myself, and honestly, I only recognize maybe two or three; the rest are all people I've met in person.🤷 ☕

around 100 🤷 I don't really have much else to add regarding that...
