Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
Hey everyone! Has anyone here actually managed to clear up a perianal thrombosis without having to go under the knife? If so, how did you handle it?

Thanks! I did. I'll see how it holds up tomorrow.

Hey there! Hope I'm in the right spot here...
I've got this HP laptop that's about three years old now.
Every time I'm on Skype and try to open a document, the whole connection just dies on me. Any idea why that happens? What can I do to stop it from crashing like that?

Honestly, it feels totally normal to me, so I don't really sweat it too much. 🤷

Really? Because I’m actually kind of freaking out here.

Anyone else dealing with these weirdly inconsistent flows? After my two heaviest days, things taper off for about three days, then I’ll have nothing at all for a day before it suddenly kicks back in with bright red blood for another day or two.
I actually mentioned this to my OB-GYN, but they didn't really give me a straight answer on why it happens.

Jonathan Perez88 said:Look, Müller—I’ve been picking them up there for a few winters running now. I’ve got a photo of the ones that actually work for me; the label says: moveup damen viskose strumphose 😁. Then there’s the Golden Lady Thermo Sensation—they’re a bit thicker, sure, but they’re fantastic.

Noted, thanks!
I grabbed some ribbed ones from Müller once, but they just didn't have that nice stretch to them.

Where do you guys pick up your tights? I’m looking for some thicker ones to wear under a dress—ideally something that feels more like cotton.

I’m heading out shopping tomorrow, and just to give you a baseline, I’m sitting at about 220 pounds right now, which means I usually squeeze into size 14 or 16 leggings at places like Target. Depending on the brand, that might translate to a 16/18 elsewhere. Since I’m planning to actually commit to an intensive training routine over the next few months, I really need to find some pants that won't immediately disintegrate at the thighs like my cheap Target finds always do—and ideally, something I can actually move in while working out.

I actually found some great leggings at Dick's Sporting Goods lately. They were a bit pricier, I think they were around $93, but honestly, the quality is night and day.

Hey everyone, where can I pick up a cute knee-length coat? I usually wear a size 14.

Which C&A in the US has the best selection?
I tried ordering a couple of tees from their website, but my PayPal wouldn't go through for some reason... so I just hit the "pay upfront" option?? And honestly, they haven't even sent me an update yet. 🙄

coppertinker13 said:Sounds like you might have an apple shape. I’m basically that type too, though I usually just size up. For me, empire waist dresses always work best—where the waistline starts right under the bust. Maybe nothing too long, maybe just hitting below the knee. You probably want a thicker fabric so it actually holds that shape. Honestly, you don't sound like you're in a bad spot, so you should be able to find something at any mall. Just go in, try stuff on, and you might be surprised.

Thanks so much for the tip! :*

Jonathan Perez88 said:Well, this should cover what you need 🤔. I hit up a wedding a few weeks back and picked up my dress at an Importante—you know, one of those tacky little boutiques 😬. Before that, I grabbed a wedding outfit from Peek & Clopenburg. For my everyday basics? It’s just H&M, C&A, Mango, or Terranova.

For the wedding, but I’m not really feeling anything too formal or stuffy. Honestly, I totally blanked on what was available on Pinterest, so I’m gonna go take a look at what's out there. 😉
Honestly, I don’t even have the guts to try and learn from those guys at Importanne. I feel like if I actually stepped up to the plate, I'd just get completely swallowed up by their massive crowd. 😢

Jonathan Perez88 said:I’m a bit smaller than you—standing at 5'5"—but we share the exact same critical flaws 😬. I tend to gravitate toward classic A-line dresses and skirts with varying degrees of fullness. Though, it really depends on your specific build; despite everything, I still have a defined waist, so those styles work for me since they cinch there before skimming over the midsection.

Hmm, I don't really have much of a waist myself 😢

Any idea where I could score some cute dresses?

Need some advice. I usually rock a size 46/48 top and a 44 in pants (C&A sizing).
My main issue is my midsection 😢 plus I'm on the shorter side, about 5'5".
What kind of dress cut would actually look good on me?

I took a bit of time this morning to dive into the BuyKud website—it’s one of those platforms that really makes you stop and think about how much the digital landscape has shifted lately. It’s an interesting little corner of the internet, isn't it? Looking through their setup, there’s a certain intentionality to the way they’ve structured things. It doesn't feel like one of those rushed, cluttered marketplaces you see popping up every other week—more like a curated space designed for a specific kind of user experience. It reminds me a bit of those boutique e-commerce sites we used to see back in the day, before everything became so aggressively optimized by giant corporations. There’s a sense of purpose here. Of course, navigating any new platform comes with its own set of "first impressions"—the layout, the speed, the overall vibe—but I found myself lingering on the interface longer than I expected. It’s clean. Not sterile, mind you, but efficient. It’s got that steady, reliable rhythm that you look for when you aren't quite sure if a site is going to be a seamless experience or a total headache. Has anyone else had a chance to poke around here yet? I'd love to hear if you felt that same sense of streamlined utility, or if I'm just being overly analytical over my morning coffee. Curious to see what everyone else thinks.

Whoa, they seriously have some cool stuff! Definitely not cheap, though. It seems like most of the prettier dresses are either sold out in larger sizes or they're just sitting there in a universal one-size-fits-all thing.
Have you actually ordered anything from them yet?

Where can I find some cute dresses? I’m looking for something empire waist—you know, cut right under the bust—to help camouflage my tummy 😉
I'm a size 16.

Benjamin King78 said:Target doesn't do much for me either.
I picked up some high-waisted compression shorts from Old Navy this past spring—they go all the way up to my ribs—and they squeeze me so hard. I think they were $40.

Thanks! It didn't even cross my mind to check out Gap.

Where can I find some decent high-waisted compression leggings?

I’ve got a few pairs from Target, all different styles. Honestly, I don't get it—they don't even feel like they're doing anything. And I definitely didn't buy them a size too big.
Dealing with plantar fasciitis? in Health ·
Can anyone recommend some decent shoes for someone dealing with plantar fasciitis?
My right foot is absolutely killing me lately. I’ve realized I really need something with a bit of a heel lift to help out—basically looking for indoor/work footwear like clogs that have that extra support and closed toes. Any suggestions?
