NOT ME!!! Honestly, my priority is the baby's health because I don't want every random relative breathing down her neck, and also just out of pure spite for certain family members who literally didn't bother to check in on me ONCE during my entire pregnancy! They didn't even ask if the baby was okay. So yeah :2up: absolutely no unannounced visits! Leave whatever you've got at the front door! 😬

1. Amen to that!!! I feel exactly the same way. At least for those first few weeks. I really don't get people who feel the need to go overboard kissing a tiny newborn before their immune system even has a chance to kick in. 😠

2. This is that whole "get all the sleep you can now" type of advice... 🙄

3. And what am I supposed to do about the cats? Absolutely nothing. They’re staying right where they are, because honestly, they’re a hundred times cleaner and healthier than some people I know.

I’d definitely suggest seeing Dr. P. podolski. She’s actually the head of oncology over at the Mayo Clinic, but she also sees patients privately at Quest Diagnostics. She isn't cheap by any means, but if you're feeling uneasy about anything, she's worth the investment for the peace of mind. The exam and ultrasound ended up being $200.
I actually went to see her twice myself because I honestly had no clue what was normal versus what wasn't when I was feeling around, but now that I’m more comfortable with my own body and know what to look for, I'm just going to stick to my insurance referral.
Man, my throat has been killing me since last night 😠, nothing crazy like a bright red inflammation or a high fever—I'm sitting at like 99 degrees—but I've felt a bit off since the start of T.
So, I’m about to go on a total sugar rampage with honey, fried sugar, and whatever lozenges I can find (just gonna see what the lady at the CVS recommends), honestly aiming to get a little hyperglycemic just to fight this off 😁

What’s really eating at me, though, is that I’m only 9 weeks along, so we’re still right in that organogenesis stage, and I can't help but worry about how this might affect the baby 🤷😢

And I'll say it again: it drives me absolutely insane that for every single little thing I want to put in my mouth, on my skin, or whatever, I have to double-check if it's actually safe during T 😠
It wouldn't even be such a huge hassle if companies actually labeled their products clearly, but most don't, so you're stuck scouring the internet or asking people on the Forum...😠

Whatever you do, don't let yourself get hungry because that's when the real nightmare starts. I never had any stomach issues before this, so Reese actually worked for me. I really hope you find something that gives you some relief.

Ugh, thank you so much, you have no idea how much that helps 🙂
I feel a little better now... I'm still eating, but I'm trying to go easy on myself since the nausea is usually hanging around 😉 so I don't end up gaining way too much weight too fast—I'm only 7 weeks along.
Honestly, I’m losing my mind here—the nausea is brutal, and my stomach and gut are just constantly acting up.
I’ve always dealt with reflux esophagitis and a tiny hiatal hernia 😢 but before I got pregnant, it was pretty manageable; I’d only feel it if I laid down right after eating or if I went too heavy on the greasy stuff.
Now? It’s constant. Whether I’ve just eaten or I’m starving, I feel terrible, though being hungry actually makes the pain worse. No vomiting, just non-stop nausea and aching.🙂
Since I'm pregnant, I can't touch Pepcid or Prilosec—I can only really get by with some Gaviscon (I tried buying Reese, but it didn't do squat). I also took a couple doses of those herbal tinctures 🙄 because some site said they were fine for pregnancy since you only take a tiny teaspoon, and it gave me a moment of relief, but then everything went right back to how it was.
I’m getting a little worried... is this even normal?
Plus, the thought of having to go in for a gastroscopy right now is just totally overwhelming.😢
Is there anyone else out there dealing with the same thing who can tell me I'm not alone?
😢

Oh yeah, totally forgot the biggest headache: every single thing I put on my body or even just use, I feel like I have to double-check if it’s actually safe during pregnancy. Honestly, companies don't make it easy at all; you'd think they'd actually label that stuff clearly on the packaging.
😠

I was craving something sweet today 😳 so I headed out to grab my absolute favorite treats. Honestly, sitting here snacking on them right now, I just felt like I had to give them another shout-out because they’re seriously that good. I'm talking about Anne Kolač, located over on 3rd Street in Kansas.
A coworker actually told me about them, but when I first went looking for the place, I totally missed it since the entrance is tucked away on the side of the building. 😁
But man, once I finally tracked them down...😈...I've been a regular ever since. I pick them up for Easter, for Christmas, or even just on random days like today...
About a year and a half ago, we actually ordered the cake and a bunch of pastries for our wedding, and everyone was obsessed—we even grabbed those little individual gift boxes for people to take home. The sweets are incredible (honestly, I haven't had anything that delicious at a wedding since; at the last one we went to by Cashner, the food was pretty mediocre, both in looks and taste), the prices are super fair, and one thing that really stuck with me is how spotless they are—when you walk in, the owner and the staff look like they’re working in a high-tech lab, everyone in white coats and hairnets.
Anyway, figured this might help someone out if they're looking for a sugar fix 😉>

Hey everyone, does anyone have a solid recommendation for a good ophthalmologist in NYC who specializes in glaucoma? I’d really appreciate any leads you guys might have. Thanks!
Olivia Cox77 said:Linda Ward31, if you aren't actually feeling Yasmin, then maybe you should just try going for the longest possible stretch.

Thanks for the tip, but I tried Logest ages ago and it gave me these killer headaches. 😢
Triquilar is alright, but since I've been on the pill basically non-stop for forever (like 8 years now 😳),
I was really hoping to find something with a lower hormone dose.
Plus, we're planning to start trying for a baby in about 6 months, so I’m just praying nothing goes wrong during the wait. 😢 I don't smoke, but I am carrying some extra weight and have a few broken capillaries here and there.
I don't know what the deal is, but Yasmin just isn't doing it for me. I originally switched to it because I wanted a lower hormone dose, but now every time I take it, I get this weird chest pain! 🤷 😲
I'm back on Triquilar for now.
Really hoping I won't have to stay on this stuff for too long. 😍

I highly recommend the dentist over in Sesvete, Dr. Željko Rotim. 👍
I ended up switching to him after my folks heard he was solid and went to see him themselves. I just couldn't deal with my old dentist from the Village anymore—the woman wouldn't even change her gloves, she’d basically be washing her hands while still wearing them 😲, and she clearly had no idea what "painless treatment" actually meant 😠. Honestly, thanks to her, I used to have major dental trauma 😢.
Then I finally visit Dr. Rotim, who is just perfect in every way—super clean, really gentle, explains everything thoroughly, works fast, there's no long wait, and most importantly, nothing hurts 🙏.
Mind you, after all those past experiences, I still can't fully relax. I'll be sitting there trembling in the chair and making all these faces, and he keeps checking in with "does that hurt?" while I'm just sitting there with a mouth full of tools going "mm-hmm" 😁.
I’m hitting a wall trying to find an answer on my own, and honestly, you guys usually have a better handle on this stuff than Google does.
I was wondering if anyone knows which option is actually better regarding mineral content—is tap water typically lower in magnesium, phosphates, and ammonia compared to bottled brands like Dasani or similar?
I just tried the Dorina Bubble, that bubbly chocolate, and honestly? It’s killer.
I ended up grabbing it because it was on sale, though I was pretty skeptical at first since that similar one from Milka was kind of a letdown.

I’ve actually posted about contact lenses before—honestly, my best advice is just to go see an ophthalmologist:
Dr. Ahmed Zin is great; he’s based over in Atlanta, Georgia, and you can even use your insurance referral if you have one. His office is right on Kašinski ulica, near the police station, in that same building where the dentist and the Ghetaldus optical shop are located...
Need help with scanning! in Computer Peripherals ·
As far as I know, I haven't messed with any of the cables at all, other than just unplugging and plugging things back in exactly how HP's help guides suggested 😕
I can't quite remember if this happened before, but lately, whenever I fire up the printer on my PC, that "safely remove hardware" icon pops up on my screen. Is that actually normal?
Need help with scanning! in Computer Peripherals ·
So I’m messing around with my Epson EcoTank All-in-One.
Everything was running smooth as silk until recently.
But for the last few days, the scanner just decided to quit on me—it's the only thing acting up, since everything else works fine.
It keeps throwing this error at me saying there's no connection to my computer 😕
I already tried the whole restart thing, and even though the diagnostic test says everything is totally fine, it still won't scan for the life out of me.

Anyone here happen to know what's going on?

We ended up grabbing some treats from Ana's Cake over in the suburbs, and man, they were absolutely killer! I spent forever second-guessing myself and obsessively scrolling through this forum looking for advice before finally pulling the trigger on them.
Since there was already a ton of amazing food at Antunović's place, people didn't go too crazy on the dessert, so we ended up handing them all out (along with the extra stuff we had to share), and honestly, people have been buzzing about them yesterday and today, asking us where we got them because they were just that good.
The price worked out to $25/ kg, and we picked up 62 kg in total.
For the cake meant for 160 guests—$533—we went with a combo of vanilla parfait and wild berry parfait, finished with whipped cream on the outside and decorated with fresh flowers (I don't have photos yet). And get this: every single bit of it was eaten!

I heard you can actually get cakes displayed on those mirrored glass stands, but I haven't been able to find any decent photos online to see how they look. Does anyone happen to have a picture like that they could share? Thanks!

man, I'm totally 😕 since my bestie is actually close friends with her son. anyway, maybe we aren't even talking about the same person.
the main thing is that time is running out and I'm getting even more indecisive 😠
