The thing is, you aren't going to see every single post someone got a Cardboard for 😉 unless you manually dig through every single thing they've posted over, say, the last 30 days. And even then, there's a pretty good chance those offending posts were already deleted by a mod.

Also, just to be clear, the expiration date on a Cardboard is NOT the same thing as a ban expiration date.😉
A Cardboard usually sticks around for about 30 days, whereas hitting 100 points triggers a 3-day ban.

Sure, maybe it is just a few clicks, but there's a much easier, painless way to handle it: just don't visit Reddit and call it a day. Honestly, what kind of OCD would force someone to constantly check this forum? I highly doubt it.

In principle, yeah, if we're talking about the extreme cases.
I mean, if someone has thirteen pages of warnings mostly for insults or being straight-up abusive, you can pretty much assume their communication skills aren't anything to write home about... regardless of whether they're 15 or 55.

The silver lining is that only the mods can see those warning logs on a user profile. 😁
