Word is Sergeant Garcia is still playing sets—some world music, reggae, whatever—but honestly, it’s just not my vibe. People are buzzing about Klaxons and Yeah Yeah Yeahs potentially showing up (👋), but we'll see if that actually happens.
Just heard that Dimmu Borgir is headlining the beer garden stage. It’s gonna be absolute chaos 👋 Since I know we aren't getting Converge, Slayer, or Dillinger Escape Plan, I'd honestly take Dragonforce 🙏 🙏 🙏 just to round out the night.
One thing he says, another thing he does. Honestly, the guy was a jerk 😁 a significant jerk who actually did a lot of good for a huge group of people, but still a jerk (in the movie, anyway—not sure how it played out in real life).
Man, those three really did a number on Josh Brolin. They lied straight to his face and played him just like a seasoned politician. Pure Machiavellian moves right there.

Why is that? I don't see anything pathetic about a faithful recreation of real events. If you're referring to Tosca and that moment where he reminisces about not living to see fifty—well, surely a film needs some sort of resolution at the end; it's either that, or we'd need a few extra minutes of the parade... 🙂
Of course I mean Tosca, that’s what I literally just said. I’d honestly rather watch ten more minutes of vegetables than deal with unnecessary sentimentality right when a character is dying. He's dying, for God's sake, and you're trying to trivialize it with some stupid little detail. Gross.
Pineapple Express. Awesome trailer if you're into that kind of comedy. Honestly, those jokes were some of the best parts of the movie, which felt a bit dragged out and empty at times. It wasn't a total disaster, but it definitely didn't live up to everything the trailer promised.
I’m totally fine with long movies. Honestly, if I’m feeling wiped out or just super cranky, I’ll definitely pick an 80-minute flick over some 210-minute epic. Usually, when I make that mistake halfway through, I realize my attention span has completely checked out, so I just end up restarting the movie a day or two later. 🤷
It’s for him, not you. I honestly think some directors still make movies for themselves first and then worry about the audience later. Totally with you on this one.
hmm, every single trailer we’ve seen lately seems to be a biopic about the first gay politician who gets assassinated while in office... 🤷 but hey, you didn't know, you didn't know, so what's the big deal now.
