Does it just lock up one joint, or is it multiple? Do you get symmetrical stiffness—like both knees or both elbows hitting at once? Also, does this happen first thing in the morning when you roll out of bed, or anytime after you've been sitting still for a while?
brighttiger87 said:melloworca6 and Michael Diaz4, thanks. My gynecologist recommended Hemolex, but honestly, nothing seems to be working. Regarding the Fact ointment—honestly, I'm stuck. My doctor told me exactly what’s written in the official instructions, so I'm left wondering if I should actually use it or not. Even though I see so many pregnant women using this stuff, I'm still on the fence. 🙄😢 I'm already losing my mind. 😢
Which doctor? Honestly, when it comes to this kind of stuff, I trust an OB-GYN the most. They should be the ones who actually know what's safe during pregnancy and what isn't. Other doctors might be up to speed, or they might not be—general practitioners definitely know their stuff, but with specialists, it really just depends on their specific focus.
Lidoproct is a medication—specifically a cream—that you can't just pick up here in the States. Period. We aren't discussing it here anymore because it isn't available in the US. Any creams with similar or identical ingredients—meaning they contain lidocaine and hydrocortisone (or corticosteroids, if we're being technical)—are prescription-only in America. You can't just walk into a CVS or Walgreens and grab them off the shelf. Generally speaking, steroids, creams, drops, or anything containing them require a doctor's approval in the US, so please stop telling people to go buy things at the pharmacy that they legally cannot get without a script. I already linked the Dolokain gel, or whatever it's called, from the HALMED website above ( it clearly states it requires a prescription, and that's the end of the discussion regarding that too.
We are done recommending prescription-only creams.
One more thing: I don't want to see this kind of tone on the Health board. Take my warning seriously. If I come back to this thread and find people acting like this again, I won't be typing in red text next time—I'll just start handing out bans.
Michael Diaz4 said:To the mods: I am not out here running an ad campaign. Every time you call me out, it’s just ego and a misunderstanding. Penalizing me would be completely unjustified. I haven't broken any rules—I make sure of that... You claim Dolokain isn't allowed. That's wrong. Dolokain gel is sold regularly in America; it's an American product and it's on the approved drug list. It is a proven, effective medication and likely the best option for this type of discomfort. Anyone saying otherwise is simply uninformed. And again, there are hemorrhoid creams containing corticosteroids that doctors prescribe to patients—I didn't make that up. I'm stating a fact: many doctors maintain that lidocaine-based meds are the most effective for pain relief because they are excellent anesthetics. For specifics, read the instructions and always consult with a doctor. I won't sit here and take false accusations and threats for no reason...
My bad, you were right. I looked it up online: I didn't have much time to dig through the web, and when I checked their database, it didn't pop up, so I assumed it wasn't on the list.
By the way, over here, you can't get corticosteroid creams, drops, or anything else without a prescription. The same goes for antibiotics. Basically, no matter how you look at it, you need to see a doctor and get professional advice. If a doctor clears it and something goes wrong or gets worse, the responsibility lies with whoever wrote the prescription.
Steroids in any form aren't harmless. Using them comes with serious consequences, which is exactly why they require a prescription. Unless, of course, someone finds a loophole to bypass regulations, like they do with certain painkillers and other stuff.
Bryan Fisher switch doctors instead of experimenting with random stuff. You don't know if it's a fungal infection. Corticosteroids suppress the immune system (which applies to topical use too; the skin in those areas becomes more sensitive and prone to infection). If you actually have a fungus, you could be doing yourself a massive disservice by making sure they settle in even deeper. If you catch a stubborn strain, you're in trouble. Fungal infections are incredibly annoying and persistent; once you hit a tough one, you'll be cursing your own stupidity. Switch doctors or go back to yours and tell her it isn't working. Don't let her brush you off—insist she runs the necessary tests, and if she can't figure it out, she needs to refer you to a specialist.
edit: Just so everyone knows for the future, you shouldn't comment on moderator warnings within the threads. Doing so usually results in penalties for breaking the rules. If something isn't clear, just send a private message.
That’s it. I'm done talking about this. Who you choose to listen to on this thread is entirely up to you. Just keep in mind that advice on this forum isn't a substitute for seeing a doctor. If things get worse or you end up hurting yourself, that's on you.
A fellow member warned you; she gave you the exact snippet from the rules. It doesn't matter where you're from—the point is what's approved here in the US and whether it's actually available. You can't recommend something on this PDF if the FDA hasn't cleared it. How are people supposed to get it here, through some random website? We don't care what's allowed in other countries. Marijuana might be legal in the Netherlands, but it isn't here, so we aren't going to write about it on this platform when it's prohibited. This is the same deal. If the FDA hasn't approved a certain medication, it doesn't matter if people are taking it, rubbing it on, or swallowing it elsewhere—anyone using it in the US is using it illegally. We aren't posting about that on this PDF or advising people to use things that aren't permitted in our country.
I'm advising everyone: talk to your doctor before using any creams. Otherwise, you might realize too late that hemorrhoids are nothing compared to the mess you made by using drugs without a doctor's approval.
By the way, you aren't a doctor. You can't tell people what to prescribe for specific conditions (you can say "I used this" or "this helped me," but that's it). Even the doctors who post here don't do that; whenever they offer advice, they always include a disclaimer to check with your own physician first. If people could just determine their own treatments over the internet, everyone would be doing it. For real medical issues, you need a medical history and actual expertise.
And if you’re using those scented pads or whatever—just toss them. They're basically an open invitation for pH imbalances and letting all sorts of nasty bugs breed. Just grab a low-pH intimate wash instead. For me, the Jessa one or the stuff from DM works great, and it won't break the bank.
I Googled what those vaginal suppositories are actually for—assuming you're dealing with a yeast infection. Try pushing them in as far as they'll go. Also, cut out the sweets immediately because yeast absolutely thrives on sugar. You should probably try taking some probiotics or grabbing yogurt with live cultures. Here’s a tip from a doctor friend whose daughter had a yeast infection but couldn't use the suppositories because she was a virgin: get a basin, fill it with water, stir in a cup of yogurt, and just sit in it for about 15-20 minutes. 🙂
electricstag16 said:Yeah, I misspoke. I should have titled it "castration - dogma?". I’m not asking about the topic in the link provided; I’m talking about the thread I actually started, which is called "castration - health benefit." So why was it locked?
And what makes your specific thread so special that it can't be discussed in the one linked above?
I'm not asking you as a moderator, just as someone who hangs out on that subforum and knows people were already debating the pros and cons of castration/sterilization over there. 🤷 Not to mention, those people were actually providing arguments in favor of it, yet you just dug your heels in, ignored their points, and told them to shut up because you didn't care what they had to say.
And how deep did you push it? Did you manage to get it to settle in?
Yeah, it’s a bit awkward since you're a virgin. Try sliding the next one in while you're sitting on the toilet; honestly, that’s usually the easiest way for me to get a tampon to glide in. Just push it as far as it goes, but if you feel pain or hit a wall, don't force it. Usually, they aren't that hard to get in, especially with an applicator, but damn, it can be different for girls who aren't virgins. In your case, you might actually end up breaking through the hymen yourself.
You're probably going to have to check with Gina about the specifics on how to handle the cleaning part.
You should use the vaginalettes right before you hit the sack (they melt, then start leaking out—doing it while you sleep means less mess and they work better). Wet them slightly with some water so they slide in easier, then pack them in just like a tampon. If you have an applicator for them, even better; you can get them in deeper. Just moisten the tablet a bit, pop it into the applicator, slide it in, and squeeze. It’s done in a flash. Seriously, it's not rocket science.🙂
Alex Watson said:Look, maybe this administration isn't perfect.
But at least they don't go around handing out permanent bans just because they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Especially when someone actually dares to criticize how they handle things.
If people were treating Nica and Strilet the way they used to treat the former admin... man, they would have been kicked off this site a long time ago.
Oh, really? How on earth did the previous administration dare to permaban someone like you? Seriously? You think you didn't earn that ban? Harassing people and telling them you hope their kid is born with Down syndrome—all that garbage you pulled—isn't worth a permanent ban? 🤷 Out of everyone here, you’re probably the last person who should be complaining about how many people were banned before, because you earned every bit of yours.
One of the biggest blunders this admin team made was lifting bans for people like you during those general amnesties. I still have no clue why they did it, but hey, here you are, still posting. 😉
slycrane94 said:There was plenty of junk and sketchy links floating around on Facebook. It happens to everyone. Sure, it helps if you’re browsing with IE or running some ancient Flash plugin. The thing is, antivirus software flags everything under the sun. An alert popping up doesn't necessarily mean there's a virus on this forum. As far as I can remember, there was only one real issue, yet these warnings pop up like mushrooms after a rainstorm.
The main point is that it isn't as black and white as people are making it out to be here.
And when a bunch of people write in over a short period saying they caught something or their PC started acting possessed right after visiting the forum—are those also just the people who were hanging out on Facebook, clicking on every single thing they saw, or the ones who think an "update" is something you eat? Or what? 🤷
Look, there are definitely people online who act like someone unprotected looking for trouble and then act surprised when they get sick, but this whole "it's your own fault" and "antivirus users are idiots" vibe is getting old.
In the last two or three years, we've definitely dealt with this ad crap at least four or five times. And at least two or three times in that span, the forum ended up on Google's blacklist because it was basically acting as a breeding ground for Trojans.
Tina Fey please stop spamming the Health forum and ignoring the moderators' warnings. You can't just jump from one thread to another, posting the same questions over and over whenever they pop into your head. Seriously, knock it off, because we’re going to have to start handing out much harsher penalties.
Betty Murphy23 said:I was supposed to get my period two days ago, but nothing yet, instead I’m just getting this watery discharge, kind of a grayish-green color, it's definitely not the usual white stuff, so what's the deal? ps. I tried sleeping with my boyfriend for the first time about a week ago, we didn't break the hymen or anything, could that have anything to do with it???
Help! 😲
Go see a gynecologist. It sounds like it could be an infection.
slycrane94 said:The whole point of that risk is to get people to ditch AdBlock. That way, sites can actually make money off standard ads instead of resorting to those sketchy ones just to stay afloat.
Are you trolling him? 😁
I didn't bother using AdBlock until this forum started spewing Trojans out of its own ads like crazy. I’m not about to go buying some random piece of junk because someone is too incompetent to maintain a site properly. I have zero interest in begging someone to fix my gear or throwing money away at a repair shop because of their mess.
