If anyone actually wants to get rich off a sick kid, they should probably just report it!
Report who?
If someone is running a scam, they aren't exactly going to turn themselves in.
Does that tea actually work? Where can I grab some? And how many times a day are you drinking it?
The first day is the only part that kills me, but honestly, the cramps make me want to gag. I’ve realized the older I get, the worse it gets. 😢 Before I was 18, I didn't even know what period pain felt like. Since then, I've taken an Advil here and there, but now? Almost every single month, I'm cursing the day I was born just because I'm a woman.
Right now, I’m just getting by using a mix of Brufen and Buscopan. I take a few throughout the day, but it stays manageable. One time, I didn't have anything for the pain at home, and I couldn't exactly wait a few hours to drive to CVS, so I just knocked back three Buscopans within an hour and a half or two. 🙏 I totally forgot I was even on my period—it was amazing, zero cramps. I wouldn't dare do that again, though. Sure, you can pop two at once, but you really need a longer gap than an hour before the next dose.
But man, the pain got so bad that I honestly didn't care what happened to me; I just wanted the cramping to stop.
Nathan Martinez9 said:Can anyone tell me if they have any experience—good or bad—with that herbalist unknown? I’m specifically looking into treatment for multiple sclerosis. His website claims he can fix it in 30 to 60 days using tea blends. Look, I’m not delusional enough to think I’ll be totally cured, but any improvement would give me some much-needed momentum and hope. Since these teas are $1333, I want to know if anyone has actually seen results. Please just DM me your stories. I’m living in Mexico and don't have the luxury of hanging out on forums all day because of work. I just want everyone to beat their illness and come out on top.
Wrong subforum. Try asking over here: Alternative Medicine . We don't deal with this kind of stuff in the Health section.
slysailor8 Look, there's a reason I merged your thread with the existing one. Please stop deleting your posts here and trying to start new ones just to get around it; I’m going to keep deleting them instead of merging them again. Honestly, some of the nonsense you people come up with is just ridiculous. 🤦
We’ve made some minor tweaks to the survey. Since we didn't get enough responses for certain conditions, those categories had to be cut—we can't draw any meaningful conclusions without a decent sample size. We also added a few new ones in there. A huge thanks to everyone who has jumped in so far and carved out some time to help us move this research forward.
brightranger28 first off, go read the Health PDF rules. You aren't allowed to claim medicines are poison or that Big Pharma is out to get us and stuff like that.
Secondly, if you actually intend on posting here, fix your attitude immediately. There’s zero reason to start attacking people or labeling someone "militant" for no damn reason. We can discuss whether something is beneficial or harmful, but this kind of hostility and tone has no place here.
Is the urine test just part of the standard screening they do alongside blood work? If so, both the CBC and the urinalysis usually come back on the same day for me. They draw everything in the morning, and by after 6 PM, you can check the results online—at least that’s how it works at my local community health center here in Washington, D.C., but I haven't been to any other clinics so I wouldn't know how they handle things elsewhere.
As for RH, I don't have a clue what the levels should be; I've never had that tested before.
We aren't going to turn this thread into a discussion about overdose methods or specific dosages required to end it all. If someone is looking to take their own life, they’ll have to go put in the effort to find those details somewhere else.
Just saying so nobody can claim they "didn't know" if someone gets banned for posting stuff like that. 😁
Anyway, back to the topic. These pills are pretty heavy. I did a little Googling, and from what I can tell, they aren't even in the same drug class—unless someone wants to correct me—though both Zaldiar and Excedrin contain Tylenol. Honestly, I doubt you could overdose on that much in a single day. During my period, I'm throwing up a 500mg Tylenol every few hours just to cope.
I have no idea how many of these you're allowed to mix, but my advice? Go to the ER if you start feeling weird or if things get worse. As for your stomach, it's nothing surprising; those meds are notorious for wrecking your stomach lining. My stomach is already a mess, and Tylenol is the only thing I can take without issues. Everything else absolutely trashes my gut.
So, did they say anything to you when they were taking the stitches out? I mean, they usually point it out if things aren't looking right. To me, it looks a little inflamed. 🤷
First thing my immunologist asked was whether I’ve ever been on birth control. Since I haven't, we didn't really dig into the weeds, but she did mention seeing more and more young women coming in. She warned me that these hormonal pills aren't exactly harmless and can act as a trigger for all sorts of issues. At the end of the day, we're talking about hormones—the way they all interact within the body isn't even fully understood yet. That’s why it bugs me how doctors just hand them out left and right without much thought. Especially those emergency contraceptive pills; that's a total hormonal bomb. It might not hit you immediately, but it could show up as an issue five or ten years down the road.
Jason Reyes9, this isn't how you handle yourself on this subforum. You came here looking for advice, and people actually took the time to give you some decent, well-meaning pointers. They showed you where to go; whether you choose to follow them or just ignore everyone is entirely up to you. It’s your health and your business.
gentlesailor25 said:There isn't anyone here.😬 Nobody has issues with their blood sugar.
And honestly, I haven't even seen a doctor about it yet. I've been eating every two or three hours, mostly because I just feel starving every couple of hours. It's like... I can literally feel this empty pit in my stomach.🤷
I don't know, shaking if you haven't eaten in three hours isn't exactly normal. You should probably go get that glucose tolerance test or whatever it's called. They monitor your levels throughout the day so you can actually see if your blood sugar is acting up.
Jason Reyes9 said:Listen, dear, who do you think you are?😕 Is there a problem with my posts on this forum or something? This whole subforum probably wouldn't even exist if everyone just went straight to a doctor. If that were the case, I'd basically be acting like Jason Reyes9 and just sending every single one of you straight to your GP.
Be reasonable and back off from my thread.
melloworca6, look, all I want is at least some indication of what kind of conditions might match my symptoms. That way, I can see if I recognize anything in the descriptions, which makes it a lot easier for me to actually go see a doctor.
No one can tell you that on an internet forum. 🙂 Sure, it could be something related to blood sugar. So what? You still need to run actual tests before anyone can have a smart conversation about it.
All you're going to get here is guesswork that might not even be relevant. 😉
gentlesailor25 said:well, how am I supposed to know?🤣 It just sort of hits me and then fades away, I guess. If I don't eat something within maybe two or three hours, I start getting this weird restlessness, feeling cold, sweating, just generally weak... and eventually, my vision starts going dark. If I didn't grab something sugary right then and there, I think I would’ve actually passed out. It doesn't really feel normal to me, honestly.🤷
He probably just meant you should use a glucose monitor if anyone in your house has one handy when this happens.
That definitely isn't normal. Have you seen a doctor yet? Did they send you in for some blood work?
edit: Jason Reyes9, I think Hrvoje would tell you he suspects something, but since it could be anything or nothing at all, it's better to get the lab results back first before we start speculating on what they mean. 🙂
I don't know, if this has been going on this long, just go see a doctor. It clearly isn't going to fix itself. I know people get hit with stuff like this when their blood sugar crashes, but since you say it happens right after eating, that's probably not it.
Are you on any medication? If so, maybe check the fine print in the instructions to see if there are side effects like that. 🤷
