Throbbing pain in my calf/hamstring

Go see a doctor, seriously. Especially since you’re saying it’s strong enough to paralyze you for a few seconds.

Besides, let's say you carry the gene for X or Y, then you can specifically target and manage that organ..🤷
My boyfriend did that ages ago, somewhere abroad. I'm thinking about doing it myself. Either way, I don't see how it could be bad. Except maybe for extreme hypochondriacs or people who'd rather live in ignorance. In that case, just don't do it.🤣

It’s a real bummer... my biggest gripe is that you actually have to book an appointment ahead of time. Honestly, I’ve never had a situation so urgent that I needed to rush in right this second, so I never really knew if they could just squeeze me in. Instead, I’ve ended up waiting around for four or five days on a few different occasions.
The doctor is fine, and the nurse is alright too.
They’re nice enough. Personally, I don't stick around too long, so if you don't mind that whole ordering process, just go ahead and sign up. Honestly, I still think you should just call them and tell them exactly where it hurts—even if you have to make up a reason—just so they don't turn you away.
Where did all the good old-school doctors go? Nowadays, if you actually feel sick, you show up only to sit around waiting for two hours. 😁😁

Ever since I took over as admin, I haven't opened a single PDF where the posts aren't being tracked, though I can't speak to how things were handled before my time.

Every single major media outlet in the country has jumped on board, so I really don't see why there's an issue with the biggest American forum joining the movement too.
We really need to stop looking for a villain in every situation; this is just a beautiful initiative that's bringing together people who are barely scraping by themselves, all to help this little girl.

I think I mentioned about twenty-five times how this campaign works on the exact same principle as Nora's case.
There is a Facebook page where one of the admins is the mother herself, so you can contact her directly to ask for specifics.
A local non-profit has stepped in, and we're just waiting on the phone number for donations to help little Anastasia.
The page has nearly a million photos showing the girl's journey through the months in the hospital.
There are news articles too; I personally linked stories from major US outlets.

The only real difference between Nora and little Anastasia is that Nora was lucky enough that her parents "know the right people," so she got much more publicity than, say, Stephanie or little Anastasia.
No, I'm not Anastasia's parent; I'm just noticing that not everyone is as well-connected or as lucky as Nora and her family.
What I really resent about the admin of Nora's page is that he wasn't able—aside from Zanetti, who probably only posted because of Mateo Kovačić's suggestion—to like or support the pages of other children in need. Once it became obvious that Nora
would raise the necessary funds, he could have at least made that gesture, especially since his page gained an insane amount of likes.
For comparison, little Stephanie had just over 10,000 likes, while Nora's page has over 80,000 as of today. That kind of exposure could have been used for other kids and pressing issues, but I guess not.
This child only has her single, very young mother, who is forced to live on $533 welfare benefits for single moms because she's renting in Washington, D.C., since she isn't originally from there, while the little girl receives treatment here and waits for a transplant in Italy.

I mean, you can count those people on one hand, and usually, they're immediately canonized as saints the moment they pass away (just Google Mother Teresa). Whether you choose to share news on this forum or include a disclaimer if you haven't personally verified someone is entirely up to you.
Amanda Diaz said:Why should anyone on a forum be held responsible? You shared the news; whether someone chooses to act on it or not is entirely their own business. If I start a thread claiming World War III has broken out, and some idiots on the stock market panic and tanked share prices because of it, am I the one at fault, or are those idiots? I’ve actually been messaging the administrator about this exact topic. I told her straight up that I’ve been swindled that way several times in my life. Does that mean we shouldn't give money—even if it's pocket change to me—to the next person who says they desperately need it?
Personally, I’d rather be scammed by three more people like Nora for a few cents than fail to help one little Nora who actually needs it.
Amanda Diaz said:If I get taken advantage of, that's on me. I don't need you lecturing me about it, thanks. Who I surround myself with and who I choose to help is my business and mine alone. Honestly, I’d much rather see a new charity drive in the news every single day than have to read about what some British heir is up to.
