The reasoning behind this is actually quite straightforward: on other hosting sites, images would simply vanish because those providers would delete them the moment even the slightest bit of skin was visible (I am talking about an elbow or a neck, for heaven's sake!), while on other platforms, users themselves would go in and delete photos after only a few hours or days. None of those scenarios are acceptable to us, and we have made our stance on that matter abundantly clear on numerous occasions. The reason I requested a temporary (!) suggestion for a third server is strictly because both Zaslika and Upload images had been experiencing technical glitches recently (though they haven't in years), causing photos to disappear within a 24-hour window. Fortunately, however, things seem to have stabilized again today. Should these issues persist, we will certainly devise an alternative.
As for those suggestions mentioned by the user you linked, they seem to be tied to a certain group on Facebook and an obligation to cross-post photos there, which is absolutely not the focus of our discussion nor the direction we intend to take. But I must insist there is absolutely no intention to offend—he is a genuinely likable guy who might get a bit cranky now and then, and he certainly ends up at the dinner table himself and that phrase was simply the description for the PDF file—you can expect everything regarding (non)alcoholic beverages (though, okay, perhaps not Grdović sitting at the table!).
Any admin, mod, or super-mod can back me up when I say this entire PŽK crew has been mishandling things from day one. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it—too much was allowed to slide, and honestly, the administration has been playing games with everyone's heads. Not a single admin had the guts to step in, hand out warnings, or issue bans when they needed to. They let precedents set in that eventually became impossible to argue against, all while ignoring warnings that this was headed for a disaster. They only finally reacted once things hit the breaking point, and even then, they just set more bad precedents that created fresh headaches. And I’m not talking about stuff back at the start, but the mess that happened long after the admins should have known better. Lastan, Byron, and the rest warned us plenty about the gaps in moderation, but yeah, they pushed it sometimes too far—if you ask me, they would've been slapped with warnings after just a few posts like that. Instead, they got off easy because, deep down, they were right about most things. Under this current leadership, the forum actually feels more user-focused. Everything stayed fine for a while, especially while the PŽK was getting flooded with praise for the new management style. But once the compliments dried up and the criticism started getting louder, suddenly neither Lastan nor Byron were "right" anymore. They got hit with warnings and bans, and the very thread meant to be a pillar of PŽK democracy? Locked tight. Between all that and dealing with the IMF, I've been on this forum for 13 years.
