I’m not entirely sure which specific case you’re working with, but just as a heads-up, you should probably double-check if the card comes with a low-profile bracket. Most of those HP's SFF chassis don't play nice with standard-height graphics cards, and trust me, you don't want to find that out after you've already spent the money.

Pin 7 and 9 for the HDD LED

Well, I finally tracked down a cheaper one.

I honestly doubt you’ll find a female-to-female cable just sitting around here, though maybe you could try grabbing a 3.5mm (F) to 2xRCA (M) adapter and then running that into a RCA (F) to RCA (F) coupler.

It’s not even worth mentioning the lack of noise dampening, because honestly, this thing was basically engineered just to act as a dust magnet since it's completely open to the elements. But what really gets under my skin is how they handled the storage; you get two 3.5" drive bays, yet everything else just hangs out there in mid-air, kind of like this 🤣

You're probably thinking of those slot-loading DVD-RW drives, though you mostly see them tucked away in laptops these days.

I mean, any kind of filter is going to choke the airflow in the case just a little bit, isn't it? I haven't personally messed around with that specific one, so I can't tell you exactly how much it'll drag down the airflow, but I highly doubt it’s going to completely kill the circulation.

It's not that easy to just spray paint an interior. It won't look nearly as clean as you think it will.

It would be a total waste to ruin that case with some garbage paint job, especially since it isn't some cheap off-brand chassis worth $67 that actually needs painting just to look halfway decent, IMO.
