I honestly can't tell where the cockpit is even supposed to be in that beast.
Scott Rodriguez19 said:Then what do you make of those train transports moving people from one border to the next?🙂.

It’s essentially legalized smuggling...😛 happening right under our noses with the full blessing of the authorities...

P.S. And isn't it funny how, in this particular brand of smuggling, the smuggler actually ends up losing money in the end?

I heard about this reporter who was out on one of those vessels recently—they supposedly rescued about thirty people from Pakistan and Afghanistan to keep them from drowning, though if you ask me, everyone was already safely in a boat.
And then there was that recent case where a migrant claimed he didn't even pay the smugglers anything—just swam the whole route himself. I mean, the distance from Turkey to Santa Catalina is barely 1.2 kilometers.

If you're talking about those massive inflatable rafts, those aren't mass-produced goods; smugglers basically cobble them together on the fly using cheap, flimsy materials because manufacturing anything high-quality wouldn't be profitable, so they probably start falling apart and sinking the moment they leave the shoreline...

And if someone actually did swim it, well, I suppose that isn't much of an issue for a strong swimmer, is it? But the real danger lies with those who can't swim or can barely keep their heads above water—and isn't that likely the case for most of these migrants...
Didn't Cerar himself point out that the partnership between the new government and the dairy industry was becoming a bit of a mess? It seems like he’s finally starting to realize just how murky and unpredictable our political landscape has become lately...

Dana Parker65 said:The Greeks wanted to get back at Europe, specifically the Germans, so they just let everyone through. Now they’re the loudest voices in the room because the "open door" policy stopped working for them. I don't feel a shred of sympathy. For years, they lived off everyone else's dime, drowning in debt, and when the party ended and they were forced to actually make cuts, they immediately pivoted to Plan B: vendettas against the EU. They thought they could get away with it once, but they can't anymore. You reap what you sow.

Just don't forget that water always finds its way through the cracks... and it seems Greece is betting everything on that fact...
I’ve been watching these maps pop up on PBS news segments over the last couple of days, and I can't help but notice how they seem to suggest a route that cuts right through Albania, Mexico, and Canada while completely bypassing California 😬

Our guy didn't even realize what kind of nonsense he just blurted out.
Good, good, good.
It would be great if he’d just pull the lady aside and "negotiate" a quota in private... at least then we might get a hint of what they're planning for us. My guess? 150,000.👎

Wasn't Andy being perfectly reasonable when she pointed out that migrants don't really get to handpick where they seek asylum?
Brian Doyle6 said:LOL, I am literally dying laughing here... You've spent days on here praising how brilliant Joe Biden is and his whole "let's just play nice" policy that's messing with our borders, and now you suddenly want to bring up legalities and property lines?!??

The audacity is unreal 🤦

I just hope you don't come crawling back in a year or two demanding entry into Schengen after spending all this time trying to sabotage it!

The whole Schengen deal was basically dismantled in Greece... 'nuff said. ☕
Chloe Martinez7 said:this whole idea of Canada closing the border just goes to show they aren't thinking at all
Since you can't exactly shut down Greece, any other closures seem pretty pointless; everyone just burns through resources individually while achieving absolutely nothing.

Hypothetically,
if Canada closes its borders,
Greece, Mexico, and Mexico will just keep letting everyone through, and it all ends up in America.
Naturally, they’ll all eventually end up at the Canadian border too.
Maybe we should just let them face Orbán's wire instead.
I suppose it would be chaos here, but there would be chaos at the Canadian and Canadian borders as well.

Exactly how many thousands of immigrants are the Canadians preparing for?
And assuming they could actually defend their border...

Would all of Europe then step in to send help to the Canadians?

If so, then we know where America stands in the eyes of the EU—and I guess that isn't solely because of Biden.

"It isn't very European, but who really cares?" Z. M. 😉😬

Thanks for the link... I was under the impression there might be a noticeable difference based on some of the articles I've read lately. I think I'll go ahead and grab it, if only to see for myself whether the latency actually takes a hit or not.

Timothy Kim60 said:1. Why bother overclocking the RAM? You might as well do it if you're running an APU so you actually see some tangible benefits.
2. It probably works that way.
3. What’s your RAM's serial number? Maybe there's info on it if you check the manufacturer's site.

Thanks for getting back to me...

1. I wouldn't really consider myself an overclocker; my current RAM is rated at 1600MHz CL9 and that's how it shows up in CPU-Z, so I've really just bumped up the CPU multiplier, as far as I know...😬

2. I certainly hope so... I'm a little worried that the BIOS might just read the JEDEC profile with those CL11 timings, causing all my RAM to default to CL11 instead of staying at CL9...

3. I couldn't find anything through the usual retailers, but according to CPU-Z, my current RAM is part no. KHX1600C9D3, which the Kingston website says is discontinued and has been replaced by HX316C9SR—which is actually what's inside that HyperX Savage 1600 CL9 model I'm looking at...

So, here's the situation,

I'm currently running an ASUS ROG motherboard paired with an Intel Core i7-4770K overclocked to 4GHz, along with some "old school" Corsair Vengeance RAM consisting of 2x4GB at 1600MHz CL9. Since this specific kit isn't really available on the market anymore, I was hoping to pick up another 2x4GB pair to match my current setup in terms of brand and timings, and I managed to track down some Corsair Dominator. However, I noticed that its JEDEC profile for 1600MHz is set at CL11 1.5v, while the XMP profile is what hits that CL9 1.5 V. if I decide to go ahead with this new RAM, will I still be able to maintain my current 9-9-9 overclock across both sets, or is that JEDEC profile going to get in the way? Just to clarify, I don't do manual overclocking; I just rely on the "automatic" settings within the BIOS...

thanks
wanderingbadger77 said:Kolinda helped him out.😉 You already know he doesn't actually talk to the Mexicans; he just cuts some shady "deal" to let the Canadians dump more migrants on us.

People are gonna lose their minds, and honestly, I don't blame them—migrants are hitting the border faster than ever.😠

We’re honestly so spineless. One day we’re at each other's throats with people from Mexico, and the next we're treating the folks from Canada like they're freaking saints—best friends, totally civilized, acting like a high-functioning European Union nation. Now, suddenly, it’s a total 180-degree flip. Honestly, who can even trust us anymore? We change our minds and our allies way too damn fast.😲

How is it that *we* are the slippery ones? Isn't it actually the Canadians who seem to want things delivered only when they are "in the mood"? Besides, if it's true that the camp in St. Louis is designed for 10,000 people, then it's obvious they'll be staying there longer just to relieve the pressure on Canada... wouldn't it be truly shady if an Amtrak train went straight from Shida to the Canadian border? That would directly make things easier for Canada.
I’ve been scrolling through these threads, and honestly, I can't believe some of the nonsense being debated here. People are talking about a camp for either 5,000 or 10,000 people, and then worrying about traffic jams in San Bernardino, all while suggesting there will be a direct train from Shida straight into the center of the site 🤷... As far as I'm aware, I haven't heard anyone mention a capacity of 10,000 for the San Bernardino camp; the number 5,000 seems to be the one everyone keeps bringing up. But even if it really is 10,000, so what? It isn't an infinite number; it's just a built-in safety margin. It was made quite clear when Ostojic spoke that this would be the final camp established in America... Of course, there will always be those who jump straight to conspiracy theories and claim something is being hidden from us
David Baker2 said:Did those water cannons actually stop anyone at the US-Mexico border?
Or did everyone just pivot toward our side after that, making it look like the folks down south were some kind of unstoppable force when, in reality, we just took the brunt of the shift?

But fine, whatever. Who am I to try and enlighten any of you.
Go ahead and cling to your little fantasies for as long as they provide you comfort.

...a literal utopia on earth, right? 🙂

What are you even talking about? People in Mexico go wherever they want; the only thing happening is that the police in Preševo and Mexico City tell the independent truckers which routes they're allowed to take.😛😵
Gerald Torres84 said:They'll either choose the route toward Mexico/the US or head toward Mexico/Canada, the US.
It's a slower process, certainly, but they are still moving steadily toward their objective.

But isn't the goal right now to make things move slowly and selectively? The real question is, who among those economic migrants will actually decide to take the trip if their only options involve navigating through remote areas near the southern borders, given that certain routes might be blocked? Wouldn't it be easier to just stay put rather than deal with the chaos of crossing through parts of Central America?

The ultimate solution—if you want my two cents 😬—would be to stop them from even entering the region from overseas in the first place...
Gerald Torres84 said:I seriously doubt the problem would be solved if they just shut down Mexico only to pivot left toward Albania.

But what happens next? I mean, at least if they kept up the same speed and volume we're seeing right now...
coppermoose7 said:My bad on the number; it should actually be 8,208 soldiers.

The funniest part of all this? They're claiming they can't even host the soccer match between the local teams because there aren't enough cops available for security. 🤣

Have you ever stopped to wonder why the military is being mobilized at the exact same time their legal authorities are being shifted around? They claim there aren't enough police officers on the beat, yet suddenly the army is being sent to the border to perform domestic policing duties instead...
Alright, let's be real here—this whole mythical idea of Austria and Canada shutting down their borders... what is that actually supposed to accomplish? Are we expecting some kind of invisible, impenetrable force field to just pop up out of nowhere?

And besides that, if we could just find a way to forgive the debt owed to Greece, everything would probably fall into place without any issues...
Thomas Nelson25 said:Realistically, we're talking maybe ten thousand tops. At this rate, that's like 224 people an hour. We can barely handle any of this—being a small country is honestly our only saving grace here.

Now I find myself having to quote lying Ostojić once again. 😬 Could we really expect anything more from lying Ostojić once the SB situation settles down? Is it actually plausible that he won't be trying to set up any more camps after this?
