I'll just say there are enough tracks in Europe to cover the entire championship ☕

FP1 is running 30 minutes late... they're fixing the track 🤦

It’s pretty obvious you don't follow soccer, so you clearly haven't encountered Gill's legendary trolling spree yet. ☕

I’ve got nothing to complain about, I’m just done with Formula 1. The only driver I actually care about being there isn't going to be the lead driver, and that’s a dealbreaker for me. Plus, seeing him stuck in the same team as Alonso? No thanks. 🤦

steelmaker83 said:Maybe you'll end up becoming a Ferrari fan? Don't act like that's impossible...

Used to be, but definitely not anymore.

Are you kidding me? What kind of legacy is that? You think having "drove for Ferrari" on your resume actually means anything? Look at the likes of Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa, or Max Mosley. Those aren't careers, man. Being a number two driver for Ferrari is just a fast track to being irrelevant. 🙄

If Jenson Button moves to Ferrari, I'm done with Formula 1

Tires are everything... honestly, the whole race just hinges on whether an SC pops out and how often. ☕Maybe some rain could stir things up, but then you're looking at visibility issues and how much of the race gets swallowed by an SC. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a backup SC ready to go once the first one runs out of fuel.

It only makes sense to them if they combine it with the start and finish line. 🤷

Unless it pours, I'm expecting a boring race with zero overtakes.☕

If it does rain, expect plenty of SC periods and everyone whining about how they can't see anything through the spray and the floodlights.🙂

btw... where's the DRS zone even going to be? (not like it actually matters on this track anyway)

I honestly don't have the bandwidth for this nonsense... I have no idea why you got banned, I definitely never called you stupid, and I'm not sure what was so offensive about saying "I love it when people play dumb" after they ignored a direct warning. As a moderator, it's my job to protect the thread from trolls and pure stupidity. I've already made my stance clear multiple times, and I'm done wasting my breath here. I just don't have the time.

The higher-ups should take a look at this. If management thinks it's fine to let someone keep posting garbage in this thread, then fine, go ahead—I’m washing my hands of it. This is just too much effort for nothing.

He kind of looks down on people here, calling me stupid, and he did the same thing to my buddy who happens to agree with me—labeling us as naive or just calling my posts complete nonsense. It feels like he’s dodging any real accountability too, since you aren't even allowed to file a formal complaint via PM. Meanwhile, his own unverified, unofficial thread is just sitting there fine, even though he shut down plenty of others just like it. He uses his position to talk about some weird sense of "equality" when it comes to corruption.

But look, he isn't the only one in charge here; he has supervisors, and I'm honestly waiting to hear back from them.

My posts keep getting dismissed as trolling. To quote STINGer, apparently I "don't agree with the other 20 people." But now that folks are asking the exact same questions I asked and thinking along the same lines, the moderator just starts making excuses and going off-topic.

It’s all centered around this thread:

I mean, it’s not my fault that Šimunić didn't make the roster for the Lakers, so things are messy.

Drop the link.

Honestly, after five, six, seven PMovas, I’ve already said everything there is to say. There's really no point in me repeating myself.

What exactly am I unverified for? What kind of people have I actually locked up?

You're misquoting. Here’s the actual quote:

Nathan Fox94 said:Since you clearly don't like me posting in the HŠ thread, I decided to stay quiet. I figured I’d said enough already, but apparently, for some people, even that was too much.

Look, everyone in this thread has told me the exact same thing... so yeah, if everyone is telling me I'm wrong and I'm still out here doing my own thing, maybe it's time to actually stop and think for a second.

Look, just say it plainly. Either write that I'm too dim to see why it's an issue, or just be straight—write that I work there and get a car out of it, or that I'm on the Zubak payroll and benefit from it. I’d actually get it then. But when twenty different people all lay it out like that and you still don't get it... 🤷

Keith Rodriguez27 said:I honestly thought the yellows were faster than the reds at certain points. 🤔

Probably just track conditions... if I remember right, a light drizzle started hitting one section of the circuit too...

Anyway, screw the tire talk and why he had to stick with his teams—it’s still hilarious to me how they can drop two different statements at two different spots within minutes of each other.

Whatever, it doesn't matter. The main thing is that the gentleman won this race. As far as I'm concerned, he can go ahead and win the next one too (assuming it's a wet one, obviously). ☕

There was also some interesting stuff regarding Hamilton yesterday. I wasn't paying super close attention, but it sounded like when they interviewed Whitmarsh about tire strategy, he claimed they had everything decided on when to pit. Then, right after that in a different interview—not this one, I think it was with a female reporter—Lewis mentioned his radio wasn't working great, basically saying he could hear them but they couldn't hear him. Can someone who watched it or downloaded the Reddit thread confirm?

Chris Ortiz said:Lewis gets penalized way too much sometimes, but this one was all on him. If he’s admitting it himself, I don't see the issue.

Lewis is going through a humbling phase right now. Someone definitely put him in his place because his whole vibe has shifted—from how he gives interviews to how he talks about incidents. Even Jordan mentioned it on Reddit yesterday, telling Whitemarsh that the kid has finally matured. Maybe he went too far with that "I'm Black" comment and someone behind the scenes warned him to watch his mouth before things got messy. (At least, that's my take, since his recent statements feel totally forced.)

Screw Lewis Hamilton
2011 Canadian Grand Prix - July 31st in Formula 1 ·
This could get interesting... Lewis is on the reds and will likely need to pit, while Jenson Button is on the yellows and should be able to hold out until the end...

And where exactly are you planning to take that risk with the Massive🤣
2011 Canadian Grand Prix - July 31st in Formula 1 ·
They claimed the inters would last about 20 laps, but there are enough dry patches on the track chewing through rubber that we could easily see them heading to the pits sooner.
