Emily Ward3 said:Is there any chance that starting next season, you could somehow separate the La Liga threads from the endless Real Madrid vs. Barcelona drama and the constant Ronaldo vs. Messi back-and-forth? It feels like the same group of people is always here, looking for every tiny excuse to give their favorites a free pass while rarely seeing anyone penalized for blatant trolling. Look, a little banter is fine, but when the same three topics drag on day after day... what's actually the point?
It would be great if you just created a dedicated thread for the 2024/2025 La Liga season where we can actually discuss the games, and then have a separate space for all the trolling to migrate to. Right now, out of 10,000 posts, maybe 800 are actually useful. Other leagues don't deal with this. I've never seen Liverpool and Everton fans spend days bickering over some obscure family connection, nor do I see AC Milan fans mocking every single bad pass made by a former player.

We've tried pushing for this a few times before. Most users agreed it was a solid idea, but in the end, it never went anywhere beyond just talking about it.
Anyway, I'm 100% behind the idea, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath that it'll actually happen...

I’ve spent some time digging through the other leagues—there's plenty of material there for the lower English divisions—so I'll probably open a thread if the forum crowd actually wants it.

The topic for the European cups will have to wait, at least until every single league and cup across the continent wraps up and we finally see how the clubs shake out on the lists.

Also, just a reminder about Jeffrey Edwards76's idea to start threads for live text coverage of the leagues. After the initial hype died down, almost nobody stepped up for any of them—which is a shame, because the concept is solid. If anyone's actually interested, don't be shy, just reach out. ☕

why does there even need to be sign-ups? 😕

It’s just making things way more complicated than they need to be. Wouldn't it be easier to just start a thread and let people post whatever they want whenever they feel like it? No big commitment required
I don't really see the point in starting a thread just for the English lower leagues. There are already two threads where you can follow that stuff easily, so I don't get why we need a third one...

Not to mention it’s just going to clutter up the 'Other Leagues' section, which is basically the only spot where actual football fans hang out without all the constant arguing and trolling. Honestly, I'm against piling up these extra threads...

If I were a moderator, I’d be dead set against this idea ☕
Anthony Jackson2 said:I’m leaning more toward having one single thread for South American soccer—covering all the leagues plus the continental tournaments. We could do it in stages, though—maybe start a dedicated thread for the Brazilian league and then fold the others in as their seasons kick off. It feels a bit pointless to be moving the Argentine league out of "other leagues" right in the middle of their season 🤷

I'm feeling this 👍

Honestly, we don't really need separate threads for every single league outside the Big Five. Not enough people are following them anyway...
If we're actually gonna do this whole FHR preseason thread thing, then let's just get moving already. If we wait until next season, the whole idea is gonna die out during the summer heat and everyone will totally forget about it... We can use these last few games to see how it'll work, if anyone even wants to bother, and who's down to run it.
I'm all for any idea that actually makes the content on these forums better ☕ .

Look, I can cover the Americans and the Spanish, but honestly, doing this every single week is just too much work... maybe every other week or once a month instead 😬

I get it, but the thing is, I didn't even ask for my username to look like this when I requested the change. I wanted Byron M., with the period (evidence) but I had no clue the forum rules about allowed symbols had changed, so now I'm stuck with this half-original handle that looks totally cut off. I tried to get used to it, but I just can't... it's driving me crazy.

I don't want to start an argument over some tiny dot right now (I seriously can't believe I'm even reading this 🤦🤣) , fine, if it can't be done, it can't be done. But at least consider that I definitely wouldn't have asked for that first name change if I'd known I couldn't actually get what I was after.

I saw in the intro post that changing my handle multiple times isn't allowed, but is there any way I could just revert back to my old name, Byron M., if I happen to run into someone I know?
I'm just not feeling this current one at all... 😬

All they need is a Spider-Man commercial at the front and this officially becomes the worst Atletico jersey I've ever laid eyes on...🤦

I swear someone designed those Manchester United kits while sitting in a sauna or something... it's just too much

And don't even get me started on the Inter Milan-related home kit—if they actually roll out something looking like that next season, I am officially boycotting their matches

This is just straight-up garbage. A total disaster. When I first saw it, I actually thought it was some kind of joke 🤷

The first one has a bit more black on the sleeves and the stripes look slightly different in shape and thickness, but honestly, it's the same crap...

One's for the Italian league, the other's for the Champions League

I'm not really feeling the Milan one, but that Marseille design is killer again.
