Thanks for being cool about it and not scrubbing everything. 😁 Honestly, though, I’m probably gonna have to find a way to grab Season 3 "legally"... I mean, this show is just too damn good and hilarious to miss out on. It's a total tragedy they canceled it in the first place.
I just realized today that those idiots over at PBS decided to dump the entire third season into this damn afternoon slot that’s always been reserved for reruns. 😠 Just to refresh everyone's memory, they started airing season three last summer during prime time once a week, but then they scrapped it because of the summer schedule—I think we only made it to episode 9 or 10. Then, a few months ago, they started running reruns of season two and immediately jumped back into season three without even bothering to tell us, their actual subscribers, that they were airing episodes we haven't even seen yet. Seriously, people... I am losing my mind. 👎 I am so sick and tired of this incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from our so-called major TV networks. They change show times without warning, butcher movies just to fit them into some arbitrary schedule, cancel series after one or two episodes only to bring them back months later, or air absolute masterpieces at 1, 2, or 3 in the morning (like FOX with "Underground," "Law & Order," or "Medium"). And don't even get me started on the endless reruns—look at CBS, where they run the same five or six sitcoms in this afternoon slot non-stop. It's like some weird sociological experiment to see how long they can loop the same show before we all lose it. NBC used to be better than the rest when it came to this stuff, but honestly, it feels like they're starting to slide downhill too.
Look, I know, I know—torrents exist. You can download any series in a couple of hours and watch it whenever you feel like it. But that's just not my thing. I actually like knowing that, say, "House" is on Monday at 10 PM, and I have something specific to look forward to at that time. When I download a show, I always end up having to manufacture some fake "appointment viewing" time just to get myself to sit down and watch an episode...
Sorry for the long off-topic rant. I know complaining here won't change anything, but hey, I needed to vent to you guys just to feel a little bit better. 😁
When I’m flying solo, I tend to just hang back on the sidelines and soak it all in. But man, if I’m out with the crew and the concert is actually rocking? Then I am all in—jumping around, screaming the lyrics, clapping like crazy, and shredding on my air guitar while hammering away at the air drums.
Look, I’m probably the last person you should be taking advice from since my cinematic resume is basically just "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Benjamin Button," but honestly? I’m convinced any one of those four movies beats the winner hands down. To me, "Slumdog" was nothing more than a mediocre flick... actually, there were moments where it felt pretty sub-par too.
I gave them a little listen and I gotta say, I’m actually digging it. They definitely lean hard into that Queens of the Stone Age vibe, but they aren't just a carbon copy—they’ve got enough of their own identity to keep things interesting. Not bad at all...

Honestly, if he suddenly showed up in some massive blockbuster action flick or a gritty horror movie, people would probably lose their minds. Some actors are just destined to stick to certain genres... they aren't meant to jump around all over the place.
I totally get where you're coming from. But man, even when he does those serious roles, he is absolutely killing it. He brings so much depth to them. Don't get me wrong—I think his comedies are hilarious and I'll happily watch them any day—but I really wish he'd lean into that dramatic side a bit more often in the future... maybe give us more of that stuff...

Plus, don't sleep on "Spanglish" or "Funny People" either. Look, the guy has serious talent, it's just that like 90% of his filmography is stuck in these goofy, mindless comedies... it's frustrating...
Haley Joel Osment in A.I., Schwarz in Terminator, Ian Holm and Jan-Erik Henriksen in Alien, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young and Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner, R2-D2 and C-3PO in Star Wars, and even WALL-E.
Man, you just can't beat those classics... whether it's the absolute chaos of both "Hot Shots!" movies, or that holy trinity of slapstick like "The Naked Gun," "Loaded Weapon," and "Airplane!"... then you've got the brilliance of "Hot Fuzz" and "Shaun of the Dead"... and don't even get me started on the legendary stuff like "Blazing Saddles," "Spaceballs," "Robin Hood: Men in Tights," "History of the World: Part I," "Galaxy Quest," "Life of Brian," "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Team America: World Police," and "Mystery Men." Just pure gold... nothing else even comes close...
I mean, sure, everyone raves about the first one, but let’s be real—the second and (especially) the third installment don't even come close to lagging behind the original. They hold their own! But I get it, the first one is the first one... it's iconic. Though, if we're being honest, the fourth one? Yeah, it’s definitely the weak link compared to the rest of the series.
Clarice Starling (played by Jodie Foster), the one and only Ellen Ripley, Dana Scully (not because of some movie, but purely for the show), and Sarah Connor.
