About a month ago, I got a notification saying I'd be getting updates about this throughout the year. I know you as well as any friend would, but I don't think we're looking at anything under ten bucks here. I have no idea why none of the other seventh graders received this notice except for me. I really don't want to spread the wrong info, so I’m just posting this here to see if anyone more informed can weigh in. Best.
After getting my PC fixed, the guys installed Windows 8 on me, and now I can't get into my email through Outlook Express. I called AT&T and they’re saying they don't support Windows 8 anymore. What am I supposed to do? I heard from a few people that there might be a workaround. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
I don't really have anyone else to ask since there aren't any decent forums popping up on the major search engines, so I figured I'd reach out to my favorite moderator, Nica. It’s been a minute—I've been working abroad earning dollars for a while now—so I don't want to be a burden, but I wanted to finally drop this question. I still think this is the best forum out there. Like I said, Nica, I haven't checked in here for ages, so I hope I catch you before you head off to see the boss; we're getting close to the end of this forum's run anyway. To get straight to it, what does Lady Nica actually think about this place? And more importantly, what does she think about the endless battles with those few trolls (even if I stay on the sidelines just to read) who love to criticize her role in protecting free speech and maintaining the standards here, acting like they're experts on how things should be handled. Setting aside any flattery toward Nica (though I'd definitely pick my favorites), I honestly feel like we need more tolerance and patience. We need to be able to say, "I'm not going to argue with you, I'm just trying to understand," and then actually have a conversation. Anyway, I've gone on a bit too long. Cheers, everyone!
James Patel20, Šmokljan wasn't making any revolutionary claims, he was just speaking generally, and honestly, I'm not interested in being lectured by anyone. I don't need someone preaching to me about morality or self-respect, especially when they spend all day staring at adult films. It’s funny how everything still functions like the old days, specifically regarding that teacher-student dynamic. If I’m the one teaching, you're going to listen to me—period. The hierarchy hasn't changed; that authority needs to be there. But I suspect it’s all for nothing. Cheers!🙂
Not sure if this belongs here, but I figured it might be a monitor issue. I’ve been playing NFS for a long time without any hiccups, but now I can't get the resolution back to how it used to be. Everything looks stuck in this tiny, square box, maybe like 6 by 6 inches or something—doesn't really matter. I tried adjusting the scaling in my settings, but that only affects my desktop, not the game itself. Even though the game lets me pick the resolution, brightness, and sharpness, I just can't get it to fill the whole screen like before. Is there some other trick to fixing this?
My Firefox keeps blocking the install, and then when I try to download it, a warning pops up saying certain software could harm my computer. Should I just bypass that if I'm trying to get AdBlock?
A total clone. You can't have a single serious conversation with either one of them. It's wild how much people resort to this. Hiding behind someone or something else. To me, it just looks pathetic and cheap.😠
