Jesus, I love dropping by here only to stumble upon stuff like this. It really makes my day. 😍 🙏 🤣

rustydrifter10 said:It was an idea we toyed with for a bit, but we’ve decided to pull the plug on it—at least for now. I honestly don't know what the future holds, but for the time being, that option isn't going to be spreading across the Reddit community.
rustydrifter10 said:I think there was a thread somewhere about that "thank you" feature—there was actually quite a bit of buzz surrounding it. At the end of the day, though, it’s entirely up to the owner, and they haven't said a word about it yet.
rustydrifter10 said:He doesn't care, honestly. It’s just that there's no budget for a new server right now, so he's avoiding anything that might strain the current setup. I'm not entirely sure how much of a load this would actually put on the system, but maybe there's some other reason behind it too.
rustydrifter10 said:This forum was originally pitched as a free space for everyone to hang out, but man, things have changed. It’s been a long time since we first launched, and looking back, the whole vibe feels completely different than it did just a few years ago.
Linda Roberts2 said:I honestly don't get why anyone would hold a grudge against America. But if we're looking at it realistically, for a nation to actually wield significant political influence on the global stage today, you really need a population of at least 32 million people. If current trends continue in the US, we’d probably need to see about 14 million more Chinese immigrants coming in to hit those kinds of numbers.

Brian Edwards78 said:Strile didn't just start handing out warnings out of nowhere; he flagged those posts only after spending the whole day debating me and Nicholas King. These girls haven't "lost their minds"; they're acting out because they can't wrap their heads around the fact that someone would actually lie about something like this. Looking through rose-colored glasses is a nice way to see the world, but reality is pretty gray.
Besides, I got flagged for trolling too—even though I wasn't trolling, while the mod who told me to watch my mouth walked away scot-free. Another thing is that the crew still can't grasp that there are genuinely awful people out there who invent elaborate stories just for attention, and they naively believe everything they read online. An account with three posts where the first one claims they won't be able to love again, and the next two on Walnut discuss groupies, can't possibly belong to a victim of sexual assault. In the unlikely, tiny chance that it's actually true—they need much more professional help than anything a forum can provide.
Lisa Hernandez3 said:Give me a break.
By what logic are these "girls" losing it? Because they're having mood swings and can't help being rude in comments when they disagree, or because they escalate moral debates to some cosmic level and start insulting people? If you're curious, I also suspect the original post might be fabricated. I'll leave open the small possibility that someone just writes in such a cliché way that it sounds like a scripted trauma. But in my opinion, that wasn't the moderation criteria back then; rather, both sides (both the author and slafko as the "instigator") were protected from further "trolling."

If you were looking for a perfect specimen to prove just how messy this forum administration is, you couldn't have picked a better one.
The guy basically wrote, "I think the OP is fake." Even if he’s right—and I’m pretty sure he is—and even if we didn't have rules against acting out, it's still unclear where in his sentence he justifies why people should be allowed to go wild.
OT: Look, author, reporting a post very often leads to someone getting sanctioned. It’s totally unclear how an admin is supposed to "prove" anything differently.
Daniel Ward87 said:Can you give me an actual example of what you mean? It’s pretty tough to give a real answer when the question is this vague. Honestly, it's hard to even comment on something that general.
brightcanyon53 said:We should just move all the posts from before 2011 onto a separate drive. Then we can set the Forum search engine
to only look at the main server and that specific drive. That would probably make managing these 7,000 users a much smaller headache.
Anthony Barrett37 said:hey hollowtrucker77, just give me a ban for trolling so you can finally shut this thread down🙂
since when is this kind of stuff allowed here? 😕
I mean, I got flagged for one troll post, but then there's this... what even is this? 🤷

Jane Doe:
I’m feeling violently happy today. It’s that weird, aggressive kind of good where you feel like you might actually tackle someone just because the sun is out. Not that I would, obviously. I’m far too much of a coward for that. But there's just this restless, overwhelming energy buzzing under my skin, and I can't quite shake it. It's almost unsettling. says:
I'm just over here thinking about this one. 😳 I use it to stay in the game longer.
I still find myself using it for just about everything.
Sam Green73 said:Honestly, whenever someone gives me that kind of look—you know, those pouting lips—my first thought isn't that they're upset, it's that I want to do something else entirely.
In my opinion, Durica is definitely the type who loves to pout.
hollowtrucker77 said:Yeah, I still think you guys haven't stumbled upon anything truly iconic regarding John Doe yet.
They’re all just pretty mediocre, harmless types—though I suppose that’s a bit of an inside joke for anyone who actually bothered to read John Doe’s stuff.🙂
Jane Doe, what exactly would you even moderate?
I mean, I'm not sure we even need a moderator for these high-level, formal debates anyway.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything that went down in Lucca. It’s one of those situations where you just have to sit back, take a breath, and process the sheer absurdity of it all. Honestly, I'm not even sure where to start. says:
slywolf45 said:Honestly, I basically did that to myself.
It’s not exactly like we're at Yellowstone or anything.🙄 😛
hollowmason64 said:I’ve personally washed my hands of LSE. You guys managed to completely wreck the vibe back at the start of the year with those new moderators and that whole new policy shift. It used to be a great place for some decent banter, but now it’s just this weird, messy cocktail of teenagers, US politics, and amateur psychology. 👎
I honestly don't get how the moderators can just sleep at night while they're deleting threads asking what actually happened to the old LSE. 😲
I mean, whose ego did that moderator bruise? ☕
