Any suggestions for Movie Wednesday?

As long as it isn't 22JS.

p.s. don't look in the mirror after watching this one.

I don't know, man... I feel like I'm getting absolutely wrecked out here. Just totally blindsided. It’s like when you’re driving down a highway in a beat-up Ford and some guy in a brand-new Tesla just cuts you off without even blinking. You're just sitting there, staring at the bumper, wondering where it all went wrong. Everything's hitting me at once. Total chaos.
Whatever, man. Let's just let that little punk have his way.
Barça kicks off tonight.

and they'll be at it all night
but there's luck in this world
though Barça won't take the win
Vegas will be screaming
but things need to settle down first

And of course, there isn't a single idiot in sight today, based on what I'm hearing.
Jerks.

Za $3.25 You can just go screw yourself. 😁

Seriously, the selection is garbage. Except for that one comedy, it's all bottom-tier.

Well, I had no idea you were actually that young. 🤷

I think it’s great.

Try to find out by tomorrow if those idiots are full of it.
The trailer looks decent. If the movie turns out to be trash, at least the effects might be good.

If I was wrong about the numbers before, I need to recognize a shift now 🙂

The numbers are back to being predictably low after all that hype.

I respect everything you guys have done lately, but let's not ignore the reality of the situation.
Dallas Buyers Club (2013) in Movies ·
rustypanther13 said:To prepare for his Oscar-nominated role as a drug smuggler providing supplies to AIDS patients in Dallas Buyers Club, Matthew McConaughey dropped an incredible 3 kilograms per week. His daily diet consisted of nothing more than a single serving of tapioca pudding, two diet Coca-Colas, two egg whites, and a small piece of chicken.
The six-foot athlete managed to plummet from roughly 185 pounds down to a mere 143 pounds, leaving him looking like little more than skin and bones.
An absolutely staggering transformation...
It seems that Christian Bale is perhaps the only other actor willing to undergo such extreme physical transformations for a role—transformations that can take a serious toll on one's health and even become life-threatening...

What do you mean 2m?
He’s 182cm.
Just imagine how a guy would look weighing 65kg at 2m.🤣

Sure, he was pretty buff until recently, then he lost it all in a few months.🙂
He’s not even 20 anymore, so he can't just bounce back to his old self easily without supplements. Personally, I'd smoke everything just to land a role like that.

The movie didn't really hit me (not saying it's bad), but it's predictable. At least it isn't overly pathetic, which usually happens with these types of stories.
The whole "gay character" trope has been done a hundred times already, and Leto's acting doesn't particularly stand out here🤷. It feels like a copy of plenty of similar roles we've seen before.

Jonah Hill >>>>>> Leto

To the clueless kids who still don't understand what being part of this group actually means: go buy a season pass for the crappy Cibona and finish your "supporter career" there. 👋

What is wrong with you people?
Instead of recruiting new members, you’re doing this.

Realize that some people want to live out their supporter lives in the stands 😁 ,one way or another.

Paul Anderson7 said:This movie actually made me laugh, which a lot of "better" comedies failed to do. Maybe the humor isn't for everyone, but if you search for the word "prank," you won't be disappointed.

I thought it was great.

I look up "prank" all the time, and this movie is garbage. The humor is just poorly executed, even if the concept had potential.
There are maybe two or three funny moments in the whole thing.

The fact that kids under 18 are rating it highly says a lot.☕

It was pretty bad. I gave it a 2/10, even though I’m usually a huge fan of the Jackass film series.
Groundhog Day (2013) in Movies ·
That movie let me down. Honestly, I wish I’d skipped it.

5/10 🙂

The guy forgets to mention the consequences of not returning after having a kid 🤣. You give him two pieces of advice, and then you have a few more years just to remind him of the one rule that actually matters.

The plot is too simple. It feels cheap. The lead can mess up a hundred times and still find a way to fix it on the 101st try. There's zero tension.
There's only one real twist, which makes the whole thing pretty boring.
Maybe I just expected more from this genre.

It's a soft movie. I thought it would be more like u and i Sex.

After Earth (2013) in Movies ·
The story shows real potential. I liked how they built the setting, the atmosphere was solid, and the CGI was decent enough. That’s about all the good stuff I can say.

The negatives have already been mentioned, but here are my personal favorites:

Spoiler alert

*

-That massive wild bird wandering around outside, spotting a guy, dragging him into cover, covering him up, and then ending his life.
I think a typical ten-year-old would just roll their eyes at that scene.

-That almost telepathic connection between the father and son near the end of the movie.🙄

-The second part of the plane is located at 62 miles 🤷. You’d expect it to be maybe a mile or two away, but on 62 miles? Seriously? At least it wasn't on the other side of the country.

-Young Smith's acting is genuinely terrible. It’s the wrong role for a fourteen-year-old.

-A total cliché scene where he just stops feeling fear. Nobody ever expects a twist like that.

-The weapons and technology used don't make sense, among other things. I still need to process that.
