I just fired up my PC and I’m totally stuck—it won't even attempt to load Windows 7, it just hits me with this black screen immediately:
Windows boot manager
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: Insert your windows installation disc and restart the computer Choose your language settings and then click "next" Click "Repair your computer"
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. File: \Boot\BCD Status: 0xc000014c

So, I tried popping in my Windows 7 installation disc and I even went into the BIOS to set the CD/DVD drive as the primary boot device, but it’s like I’m hitting a brick wall because that same black screen just keeps popping back up, no matter what I do. I’ve been rebooting the machine and tapping F8 like crazy hoping to catch the menu, but it won't even let me get into Safe Mode; it just loops straight back to this exact same error screen every single time. Does anyone have any clue what actually happened here or how I can get past this?
Nah, it doesn't have to be the exact same one I'm using. Does anyone know of anything else besides Windows Movie Maker, maybe something that's actually pretty straightforward to figure out?
I've got these two movies sitting in DVD format (those VOB files...) and they're both hovering right around 2.4 GB each. Is there any way I can squeeze both of those onto a single DVD? If that's actually doable, what kind of software should I be looking at to make it happen?
A buddy of mine keeps telling me it’s actually good for my machine to occasionally clear out everything inside the Temp folder on macOS. Does anyone actually know what you gain from doing that, or if it even does anything at all?
So, I just picked up a micro SD card and popped it into my PC (running Windows 7), but for some reason, it’s totally MIA in My Computer. To make things weirder, when I checked Device Manager, there’s this nasty little yellow exclamation mark sitting right next to the SD memory card entry. I already tried the classic move of restarting the whole machine, but no luck—still the same headache. It works perfectly fine when I plug it into other laptops, though, so it's definitely not the card itself. Does anyone have any clue what might be causing this glitch?
I’ve been trying to get WhatsApp running on my Windows 8.1, but I keep hitting this wall where it keeps nagging me with "switch to a Microsoft account on this PC". It’s driving me a bit crazy because I had zero issues getting it installed back when I was still using Windows 7, so I don't really get why it's being such a pain on Windows 8.
That’s not quite right. The first one, Adobe, is really just built for resizing—it doesn't actually handle conversions at all. And as for that second option, Photoshop, I tried searching for it, but Google can't even find it under that specific name.
I stumbled upon this video tutorial the other day, and man, it’s exactly the kind of workflow I’ve been hunting for—specifically that automated image processing stuff. The software they’re using is called “Automator,” but there's a bit of a catch since it’s strictly a macOS thing. Does anyone happen to know of a comparable tool that works on Windows 7? Since my daily grind involves juggling a massive amount of images in all sorts of random formats and sizes, I really need a setup that allows for this specific functionality: -I want to be able to select a bunch of photos and then just right-click to trigger a resize or a format conversion
It’s just not working, man. I went through and filled out every single required field, but all I keep getting is this message:

So I'm looking over here and it says that starting today, "Google Earth Pro" is totally free. I went ahead and downloaded it, but for some reason, it’s still hitting me up for a license key that I can't seem to track down anywhere. Does anyone happen to know how I can get around this or fix the issue?
So, I ended up dumping some thoughts over on pastebin.com and sent the link to a buddy of mine, but he went ahead and edited the thing, and now he can't seem to find any way to revert it back to how it was when I first wrote it. Does anyone actually know the deal with how Pastebin works? Like, is there a way to undo those changes? Here’s the text I’m talking about: right here
So, I actually picked up this laptop just about six months ago. Does anyone know where I can go to double-check if it's actually got the chops to handle 3D stuff?
So, I’ve got these 3D glasses sitting around and I was wondering if there's actually any way to sit down and watch 3D movies on my PC using some kind of software. Windows 7
