Has anyone here actually dealt with Dr. Philippe Chout before? I know he specializes in ENT too.
Anyway... take an actor, for example. They could get a perfectly sculpted nose and all that, but honestly, what’s the point if they end up wrecking their breathing or whatever? Believe me, I’ve heard some horror stories... and that usually happens when you go to an aesthetic surgeon who isn't an ENT specialist first.
Thanks, but no thanks... I'd much rather trust someone like Dr. Gluscu. He's an ENT, and while he might be a bit of a trek to get to, at least the guy isn't a butcher. He does natural-looking noses, not those weird ones that make you look like a doll... way too narrow, too pointy... basically just looks plastic.
I’ve been thinking about heading down to Malibu... but I have my high school graduation coming up, so the timing is just awkward. Even if I managed to get away soon, do you think two weeks would actually be enough time to look somewhat normal?
rustygardener172 said:What I actually appreciated about Glušac 😁 was how confident and laid-back he is... he couldn't care less about having some fancy marble office or the latest issue of Cosm sitting in the waiting room. He’s just a straightforward guy who focuses entirely on the work. He loves what he does and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty... he performs more surgeries a day than most, which is why you can get squeezed in tomorrow, not because he lacks patients. Plus, he's operating on Saturdays and Sundays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. My surgery wrapped up at 11 PM, and he went straight into another guy right after me... and that same guy had already done a procedure earlier that morning.
The girl was basically just badmouthing him, but as a person, not even as a surgeon—since she didn't provide a single concrete example of a botched nose... just empty assumptions.
And if I recall correctly, it wasn't the nurse whose nose he fixed, but the technician. The woman works with him every single day and I'm sure he gave her exactly the nose she wanted... tastes differ. I think that woman is great. Very polished, takes good care of herself. And she has amazing shoes 😁 not that it matters, but I had to say it, I am obsessed with shoes 😍

Heh, I love shoes too 😍
Anyway, she said she didn't like the photos... but everyone has different tastes. All I want is a normal, small nose, not this massive thing xD
Personally, I think Smith seems pretty alright

I’ve been away for a bit, so here’s a quick debrief on my current situation: I went in for a revision consultation with Dr. Smith in Miami about ten days ago, and calling him a complete egomaniac and a know-it-all is actually an understatement... anyway, I am in total agreement with sunnyday—I really wish she’d jump back into this thread more often... (you were right, he thinks every other doctor out there is totally incompetent)

In my opinion, the guy doesn't even have a real job because he told me I could just go under the knife tomorrow if I felt like it. And while we're at it, let me tell you, you can barely get a word in edgewise because he just rambles on about nonsense that has absolutely nothing to do with my nose. For instance, he started talking about how Blanca’s actor ruined her nose, and somehow they’re blaming him for it. Can you believe that?

He showed me just two photos of his own work; the profile looks fine, sure, but from the front? Absolute disaster. He also bragged about how he fixed his sister's nose (I think her name is Angelika or something) in the very first month, but personally, I don't like it one bit. Her nasal tip is way too large and bulbous, while the bridge is incredibly narrow, which just doesn't suit her at all since she's a petite, short woman. It’s just... a mess.
anyway 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎:f lop:

I also saw Dr. Tony, and I am completely satisfied with his approach. He’s actually polished—he has the manners of a truly educated professional (unlike Smith, who was unshaven and swearing constantly), which, I have to admit, gives me some confidence that I'll be happy with the results. Dr. Tony isn't pushy; he actually listens to you before making suggestions. His office is great, and the staff is lovely too. I honestly felt wonderful during the consultation, and my appointment is set for June 7th.

Whisper, what’s going on with your nose? Have you decided on anything regarding the revision?

🙄
casualscout65 said:So, a quick word of advice for anyone who’s recently had surgery...

I went to the pharmacy today to pick up some saline solution because I finished my first bottle just by rinsing my nose... and while I was waiting in line, this one product caught my eye. The packaging specifically asked: "Congested nose?" 😁
I mean, seriously? You're talking to me?

Anyway, I won't ramble too long, but I bought that little gadget for $30, the "clear nose" thing—and honestly, what a lifesaver. I managed to pull out some mucus with a bit of blood that there was absolutely no way I could have cleared by blowing my nose... (not that we’re supposed to blow our noses too hard after surgery anyway, as most of you probably know)
It’s called the Rhino Horn. Some of you might already be familiar with it, but I spent so much time reading through posts here before my surgery and didn't see a single mention of it. If I had, I would have bought it sooner....http://www.yogaprosess.com/rhinohorn.html
It feels totally wild... you feel the water going up your nose and you expect it to just trickle down your throat... then suddenly, it comes out the other nostril along with everything else.....😲
I don't know if the moderator is going to reprimand me for essentially advertising, but I swear I'm not the manufacturer; I just wanted to share a tip that actually worked wonders for me!👍

Yeah, I know... though I'm not entirely sure how effective it really is...
Carol Diaz31 said:People will try to tell you that you look exactly the same, or even claim you used to be prettier, just to undermine the fact that you’ve actually improved things. 😉
I get that we're talking about a friend here... but I've had people—people I genuinely expected to have my back while I worked to fix an insecurity—drop comments like that. Honestly? It felt less like an opinion and more like pure envy. ☕

Unfortunately, it's the truth...🙄
Elizabeth Collins5 said:I have this friend—we’ve known each other for twelve years, and we sat side-by-side in class for four of them (so, she’s had a front-row seat to my nose 🤣)—and she told me just a month after my surgery, and I quote: "Well, it looks exactly the same." 😲 So, clearly, we aren't dealing with some old lady who can't see a thing 😂

Some people just completely miss the details that actually matter to me... take my friend, for example... if I dyed my hair bright pink, she wouldn't even notice...😂
Carol Parker57 said:Hey, Kate Taylor59, your inbox is absolutely slammed—I can't even get a word in edgewise to answer your question.

There we go, you should be all set now. Thanks! 🙂
rustygardener172 said:It’s a tough call. Honestly, just go for consultations with both and see whose vibe fits you better... also, take a look at their portfolios and decide which style actually appeals to you. I can't really give you any better advice than that. 🤣

I agree, but I'm based in Rijeka, so Makarska is "a bit" of a trek...
Emily Reed51 said:If you ask me, anyone with an attitude problem needs a serious reality check and a swift exit from the conversation. 👍

Who can? Why not? 😉
I’m having a hard time making up my mind here... Baker or Smith...🤷😕
jadedriver0 said:Sorry Jasmin, if you ask me, you probably shouldn't have gone through with that nose surgery.🤷Honestly, I find men with small noses hilarious. There’s just something about them—the more expressive the features, the more "manly" they strike me. It’s a weird thing, I know, but that’s just my take.🙂🙂Well, if you're happy with it, then hey, that's great. Super.😉🙂

😕 In my opinion, he was actually the right candidate for the surgery.
The more I dig into this, the more conflicted I get... You truly never know what you're in for. One person gets a stellar result, while someone else ends up with a total mess...
I’ve been scrolling through the before-and-after photos... some look incredible, others are just plain rough. That’s exactly why making a choice feels so impossible.
I'm planning on scheduling a consultation, but I'm still torn on which doctor to see. My sinuses and throat have been acting up lately... would it be smarter to go see an ENT instead?
I watched this video where a specialist fixed a deviated septum in five minutes flat—no bleeding, nothing. Truly impressive work. But honestly, looking at his portfolio online, I wasn't exactly blown away, much like those results from Dr. Miller...

@princess could you please share some of your photos with me?
Look, let's be real—Žanamari Lalić just went under the knife for aesthetics. Everyone uses that same tired excuse about "not being able to breathe"... please. It’s the exact same playbook Nika from Feminnem used. First, she claims she needs nose surgery because of a hump, then suddenly it’s all about breathing issues. 😂
I'm a bit lost here—do I actually have to go see a doctor just to get my nose cleared out?
jadedriver0 said:So, I was chatting with my future maid of honor the other day, and she was venting about how some of these plastic surgeons have clearly lost their minds. Apparently, once they get a taste of that easy money, they couldn't care less about actually performing a thorough consultation. They just want to grab your credit card, take your cash, and wave you out the door—basically telling you, "If you're unhappy with the results, too bad, kid." Honestly, if that kind of thing ever happened to me with Glumičić, there would be hell to pay. No way. I wouldn't just walk away; I’d make sure he regretted it.🙄I only went to see him because he actually listened to me. He really took the time to process what I was saying and then—quite politely, I might add—suggested how he would handle things himself. Honestly, if I had just listened to him instead of insisting on my own little nonsense... you know, those ridiculous demands of mine.😁It turns out he actually had a point. Honestly, I’m starting to get genuinely nervous about the upcoming show; she's heading to see Zambell in about two months. Look, the guy has done a solid job for plenty of people, so I really hope to God he doesn't screw her over.😢😢😢

Just look at how Zambelli handles that... honestly, if you watch the video, it's pretty clear.

I can't exactly watch videos through a link like that—my eyes aren't wired for direct YouTube streaming—but if you drop the transcript or just give me the gist of what's being said, I'll be happy to dive in. I promise to give it the full treatment: my usual rambling, slightly cynical take on whatever nonsense is happening in the video. Just feed me the details and I'll get to work.

I honestly don't get why he went with open surgery. I mean, Kristina didn't even have any issues with her nose to begin with.
As for his actual work? Honestly, from what I've gathered, he’s doing an incredible job with the heavy lifting. He’s really carrying the load right now... and frankly, I highly doubt he’s going to mess this up anytime soon.
I'm not entirely sure, but can getting a septum surgery actually help with sinus issues?
Donna Watson80 said:Anyone else out there dealing with chronic sinus issues and a deviated septum? I’m curious if anyone has actually gone through with the surgery—did things actually get better once the dust settled?😁

I've been dealing with these sinus issues lately, but honestly, I can't tell if it's just bad luck or if I actually have a deviated septum. Most likely it's the latter—statistically speaking, about 80% of people deal with that anyway, so I'm probably just part of the crowd.
Carol Diaz31 said:That’s just not how it works. I’ve had moles removed under local anesthesia before... and when you’re at the dentist getting a tooth pulled, you're on local anesthesia too. An anesthesiologist doesn't necessarily need to be standing right there in those cases. As for the specific methods or what they actually use to perform the surgery? I have no clue—that depends entirely on what's being done.

I was reading up on regional anesthesia, actually.
