Sorry, I had no idea you were seeing Glušac... honestly, now I'm actually a little spooked...🙄
So, what’s the verdict on how Glusac handles tampon removal? Any thoughts?
stormyharbor2 said:Yeah, but once they pull them out, you get this distinct feeling that they were actually inside your brain. 😱

Ugh... :// I mean, is it really all that bad though?

Just how deep do those tampons actually go? Like, are we talking all the way up to the sinuses?
Picking the right surgeon feels like a massive gamble... honestly, I just want nothing but the best outcomes for everyone currently facing surgery... I'm just crossing my fingers that my own choice turns out to be the right one. 🙂

Fine, fair enough, but personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for smaller, more delicate features...=)

Of course it's possible... you just have to make sure it ends up in the hands of an anesthesiologist who actually knows what they're doing. 🙂

So, what exactly constitutes "impaired circulation"? It’s one of those medical terms people throw around like they know what it means, but it's actually quite broad. Basically, you're looking at any situation where the blood isn't flowing through your vessels quite the way it should be—whether that's because of a blockage, some structural issue with the veins or arteries, or just general inefficiency in how the system moves oxygen and nutrients to your tissues. It's not just one thing; it can range from minor issues to something much more serious.

My left leg keeps going numb on me quite often, and my feet feel like they're perpetually stuck in ice.
I used to deal with these constant, nagging headaches, and looking back, it was all down to circulation issues—it felt like oxygen just wasn't making its way up to my brain properly. I'd also get this persistent ringing in my ears quite often. 🤷 They told me I should probably get into some kind of sport... as if that's just going to solve everything.

...it’s officially been 6 months since my surgery. I’ve noticed the "bulbous" tip is finally gone; the swelling has actually subsided at last. During my last checkup, Dr. Glusac mentioned my nose will look even narrower once the bone work settles down... though I’m not seeing that just yet. Honestly, I’m happy with how narrow it is right now. As long as that bulbous tip is history, I'm good. 😍

I'm honestly so happy for you 🙂 but then again, you had a relatively narrow nose to begin with—unlike mine. I have no idea how they're going to fix my situation... mine is seriously massive. Plus, the doctor told me he has to drop the whole thing down... the entire bridge... while lifting the tip. 🤷

thanks 🙂
I’m thinking about heading out to Miami this summer... though I honestly can't decide if I'll actually be able to get in the water or not.
amberbadger81 said:Hey everyone! I've been lurking through these 218 pages for a few days now, and I finally decided to actually sign up for this Forum. I’ve been mulling over nose surgery for ages, and lately, my dissatisfaction has just been hitting a breaking point, so I've decided to take the plunge. I'm currently living abroad in Germany, where I've been doing a ton of research. Finding a decent specialist here costs anywhere from $4,000 to $5,000. Honestly, that's just not in my budget right now, so I started hunting for doctors back home via the internet and stumbled upon this community. Based on everything I've read here, I'm looking closely at Dr. Glusac and Dr. Bastasic. I found Dr. Glusac's website—it's quite thorough with all the info and photos of his work. But as for Dr. Bastasic, I can't find anything besides an address and a phone number. I'd really love to see some before-and-after shots of his results. Can anyone tell me what keywords I should be searching for to find his site? Does he even have any work posted online??

P.S. If that gentleman (I think his username is Jasmine) from Germany happens to be active around here, could you please reach out to me? I have a few more questions regarding Dr. Glusac!!!!
Thanks in advance, best regards

When it comes to aesthetics, I personally lean toward Dr. Glusac; I feel like his results look a bit more natural... 🙂

Does anyone know if someone with circulation issues is allowed to go under general anesthesia?
Amy Rodriguez4 said:Hey there! 😍

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Glumicic just two days ago... and I am honestly beyond thrilled! He actually seems to know his stuff, and he’s such a sweetheart *__*
He walked me through exactly how he’d perform the surgery and gave me a full list of all the tests I need to get done beforehand... The total would be around $2,200...
So, I've decided to pull the trigger and go with him... plus, if you look online, everyone raves about how skilled he is and how he creates the most beautiful noses 🙂 🙂 🙂
I'm planning to have the procedure as soon as I finish school—basically right before summer break 🙂

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT SIX-MONTH MARK! 🙂

p.s. If anyone else here has had surgery with him, did you end up staying in their recovery rooms?? What's the lodging like? 🙂 Since I'm coming from Miami, I'll definitely need somewhere to crash for two nights 😁

hey, wait, why didn't you decide on Dr. Glusac? Glumicic does produce gorgeous results, but quite a few girls have reported breathing issues after their surgery...
thanks for all the input 🙂

So, I had surgery last night with Dr. Glusac. Honestly, all I can say about him and his whole team is... well, he comes highly recommended if anyone here is actually considering him. Of course, I can't give a definitive "100% satisfied" verdict just yet since I haven't seen the final results, but even now, things look significantly better than before. I've had several health procedures on my nose in the past, and previous doctors never quite finished the job properly. By all accounts, this was a bit more complicated than he initially anticipated; the surgery took quite a while because the bone from my previous procedures had already fused. Still, he’s happy with how it turned out. I'm staying at the Marriott—I was way too wiped out to attempt the drive back to Los Angeles. The hotel is great, and apparently, his patients get a discount, which is what most people on this forum have mentioned. He actually came to pick me up this morning and spent some extra time with me while we were removing the packing, just chatting about everything. It’s true what people say—he can come across as professionally arrogant, but honestly, I think he has his reasons. On the flip side, he's an incredibly kind, likable guy and doesn't look down on people the way a lot of doctors tend to do. My elderly relatives are absolutely thrilled with him...

Anyway, I hope I haven't rambled too much and that this might help someone make a decision.
Enjoy yourselves!

P.S. I think he might have a little thing for sunglasses. He mentioned several times that you can wear them after a day or two, even though everyone else seems to claim that's nonsense. He even told me, "Tomorrow night, go out for a nice stroll, throw on your shades, have a little drink if you want, you'll be fine." Just imagine me walking along the pier at midnight wearing bandages and sunglasses. People would definitely give me a wide berth during their morning coffee run. 🙂

Could you please tell me how much you paid for the surgery and what the hotel stays cost? I'm not from California...
I was reading this interview with Dr. Glusac where he mentioned inserting tubes through a tampon just so you can actually breathe... did he do that to you guys too?
And while we're at it, about that whole thing regarding waiting two years before you can breathe again—is it really that long?
Blank Vlasic mentioned she was back at training after just two days. Apparently, her nose surgery is totally painless now, though I’m still a bit lost on why she went to see an ENT specialist specifically for breathing issues... isn't that what an ENT is for?

Hahahah Morning... just felt like being a little bit of a troll today, honestly. Just thought I'd throw some chaos into the mix. 🤣
No, Morning didn't actually have nose surgery.
Emily Lopez said:Hey everyone, let me introduce you to 🙂 My Nose:

From a semi-profile view, it looks like I have a hump, but I really don't... it's just an excessively wide bone structure.

That "hump" just blends right into an even wider, bulbous tip when viewed head-on.

Bird's eye view.
http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1999/2605101624.jpg

But then again, from the profile, it looks... perfectly normal.😬
http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/5773/2605101626.jpg

So, there it is. I'm comforting myself with the fact that my profile is decent and my ears are great... honestly, I'd bet nobody has ears as nice as mine.😛 Plus, I have really lovely eyes and lips too, though they aren't exactly noticeable until I crop my nose out of the shot.😬
Not that it matters; everyone’s looking at my chest anyway.😍

Yikes, well, this is exactly why you're missing out.http://kupus.net/kupus_stari/wwwroot/slike/mozak.jpg
