CIA: Illuminati (2017) in Movies ·
Super fun, but honestly? It lacks those brutal fights you saw back in the first film (I’ve lost count of how many times I rewatched that massacre). Way too many clichés. Plus, the main guys are basically invincible—no matter how much they brawl, nobody even gets a scratch. And killing off Merlin was totally unnecessary; they could've just taken out those guards before activating the bomb. They should've just stormed the front doors guns blazing! My kid was like, "Why didn't they just grab those suppressed submachine guns and a ton of ammo?" Now I'm stuck hunting down some kid-sized formal wear because he's convinced he's the next Kingsman for Halloween. He's already got the pistol, the glasses, and the umbrella... we're even trying to DIY an old umbrella from his grandpa to work like a shield.
I don't get why they wanted Poppy dead in the end. She was just doing humanity a favor by cleaning up the trash.
Man, I was counting down the minutes until this thing ended. It felt so dragged out... honestly, if they'd just cut it down to two hours, the tension would've been way better.
Asylum film production in Movies ·
So, I recently stumbled upon a few flicks from this specific studio—was watching 2012 Ice Age and Battle of Los Angeles

Look, making a parody of a movie is fine if it’s actually funny, but this stuff? It’s straight-up robbery. Don't the actors see the post-production? How can they not tell how stupid and naive it all looks? If you're gonna act, at least try to put some effort into the roles, right? Honestly, even those cheap daytime soaps on local TV are better than this. Who's even funding these projects? And what's the profit margin supposed to be? Seriously, where's the logic?

hiddensurfer17 said:I suspect your math might be a bit off here. From what I gather, they're only taxing the portion above $1.00, which is how it was reported on CNN. In other words, if you're pulling in a $4,000 salary, your take-home pay only drops by $10, not $40.
$10 x 12 months = $120 = 50 dollars annually
If that's actually the case, then I suppose this isn't really a direct hit on the working class.

Turns out my math was right after all—it’s just 2% instead of 3%, which is my monthly premium for supplemental insurance. How do people not get it? They're taking our hard-earned cash just so they can keep overspending. Honestly, I wonder if someone like a billionaire would still have such a massive gut if they were making only $1167

Man, you’re 40 years old. You should have some common sense by now. What, were you actually in the war or just blowing smoke? If you really were out there—though I bet you were just guarding the edge of your neighborhood like those loudest "patriots" always are when they start whining about their rights—you’ve probably got PTSD. You’re likely drawing a pension from $2333, maybe even got a subsidized house. You’re first in line at every Republican rally. You aren't even going to feel the tax hikes nearly as much as the rest of us who actually have to work to stay afloat.

I’m looking at today's "heroes," and honestly? It’s a joke. The ones who actually stepped up back in the day? They’re just sitting there taking it, staying quiet while everyone else pushes them around. Meanwhile, this new breed of "hero" is out there running up huge tabs and acting like they own the place. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

We’re getting screwed from both ends at once. You all voted them in, so now we all get stuck with the bill. I still remember those campaign rallies where the brainwashed crowds were chanting names like they were gods.

Here’s my math😛if I lose 3% $1333on my paycheck =$40every single month
when I do the math, 120x12=$480equals $200. That’s seven days at the beach I won't be able to afford.
How am I supposed to explain to my kid, who deals with special needs and constant bronchitis, that we can't go on vacation? Where is that money actually going? (Oh right, probably to certain "patriots" overseas, or maybe the church, or rehab centers for addicts, or those massive shipyards, or maybe just to those useless bureaucrats in government agencies who don't even know why they have jobs in the first place)

DAMN THIEVES, JUST YOU WAIT UNTIL YOU PAY THE PRICE, AND IT COULD BE SOON
And to wrap it up, a line from an old anthem: "The day comes for heroes and the poor alike"

Now it looks like Americans were fighting the wrong enemies back in the 90s, because these guys are way worse

Let that total joke go warm themselves up on the foundations of some massive bridge project or a few golf courses—things that actually benefit the average American
