And honestly, you might be onto something there. It’s entirely possible these panic attacks are a byproduct of everything else going on; I’ve been feeling this sudden surge of anxiety and restlessness lately, likely because I was just so shaken up by the whole ordeal the other day. As if my life wasn't complicated enough already... 🤦
But regardless, I have an appointment with my doctor next week, so I'll finally get some actual answers.

I’ve run into a bit of a situation, so I’m just going to throw this question out there into the void:
This past Sunday evening, I ended up in the ER because I was hit with these intense tremors, a racing pulse, high blood pressure, and dilated pupils. (Honestly, it was one of those moments where you feel pure, unadulterated terror.)
The doctors ran some blood work and told me everything looked fine 🤷
They suggested the symptoms might be triggered by smoking 🤷 or potentially an issue with my thyroid (though I need to follow up with my primary care physician regarding that—she’s actually been out of the office for a few days and won't be back until next week).
Since then, I haven't touched a cigarette, and I've been being pretty careful about my diet and stuff.
And just to clear the air—for the record—I don't do drugs. (The ER staff made sure to ask me that directly.) 😁

But over the last couple of days, I've been feeling strange: mostly extreme drowsiness (I can sleep for 12 hours straight and still wake up feeling exhausted) along with daytime fatigue and occasional lightheadedness. Sometimes, I can even hear and feel my heart pounding in my chest 😢
Does anyone have any insight into what might be going on, or what I should expect when I finally sit down with my doctor?
