Justin White402 said:I’m not really feeling Sin City either, despite all the hype. I can't say it was bad since I barely remember it, but honestly... the constant overhyping felt a bit much. I don't even know which comic it's based on, but the whole thing just felt silly to me.

He wasn't even in that teaser. They just mentioned Sub-Zero, and he only showed up for a single frame in a picture...
Anthony Smith3 said:I mean, come on... it'll probably look totally different in the actual movie and you won't even see his face... these are just fan-made posters...
Either way... based on what he can do, the guy would be a perfect fit...🙂

Drew Sanders5 said:So, I finally sat down to watch that movie, and honestly? It was a total miss for me. 🤷
I couldn't even sit through the whole thing in one go—had to break it up into a few different sittings just to get through it.

And what was with that shady little smirk you used as an emoji right after mentioning the 190-minute version exists?
😠😠😠
I know you're sitting there right now, wearing a smug grin in front of your monitor!!!
😠😠😠
Eric Collins5 said:That is exactly the version I have sitting right here.
It is basically identical to the 177-minute version, except this one includes those flashbacks and double end credits.
There isn't a single solitary scene in here that wasn't already in the 177-minute cut; some parts just happen to repeat themselves. And it arrives... wow, get this, it's spread across two DVDs.
I give up...
😠😠😠
EDIT:
Just so you know, I have never liked that avatar of yours!!!

How on earth could I give you a partial transfer when I'm dealing with this stomach flu? That would be absolutely disastrous!!!

By the way, did you know that PAL versions of films have fewer frames, so they’re usually shorter than the NTSC version of the same movie?
I remember one time I actually recorded a censored version of a film that ended up being longer than the original!
You're wondering how?
I was recording it off the TV onto a VHS, and there were commercials playing in between scenes.
😳
Quote: Alan Smithee version the 189-minute
The 189-minute "Alan Smithee" version was released in 1989. Prepared originally for syndicated television by Universal's MCA Division (and later seen on basic cable television networks) for a two-night broadcast, it was prepared without either participation or authorization by David Lynch. It includes a new narrator and a new prologue with a montage of painted pictures. It also reinserts approximately 40 minutes of cut footage, extending some existing scenes and adding others that were, until this version, entirely unseen. This television version also includes some repeated shots throughout the film
