If you ask me, this was actually the right call😉 Just give back the position you gained illegally and move on. What really gets under my skin is how the stewards will give one driver a chance to yield the spot, while the next one gets slapped with a penalty for the exact same thing... I’m not talking specifically about Alonso or saying he deserved some specific punishment😉

What he’s doing is just dangerous for everyone else. It's one thing to be wheel-to-wheel, but diving in ten meters back like some sort of reckless amateur into a chicane and expecting people to just yield? If someone like Pastor Maldonado were out there, you'd have cars scattered all over the chicane and smashed into the surrounding buildings...
