Even though Dallas is playing at home, I’m leaning toward the Portland Trail Blazers here—I have a feeling LMA is going to be absolutely unstoppable today, just raining buckets... especially with guys like Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews joining the rotation, plus the rookies Damian Lillard and Mason Zeller coming in. If Batum and Matthews start hitting from deep, their team chemistry could give anyone trouble. Given these odds, I feel compelled to take this...

They managed to scrape together a 95-89 win at home earlier this season without half their rotation, and now Gordon is back—absolutely fired up, looking to prove to the rest of the NBA that he’s still got it. At the same time, you have to assume the Hornets players are itching to show Gordon just how much stronger they are with him around, hoping to convince him to stick with the squad for the long haul...
Personally, being a Hornets fan, I’m pulling for the win. Honestly, this matchup against the Lakers feels like the most critical game of the season—mostly because of Gordon and whether or not he decides to stay. 🙂
