Looks like we won't be seeing any rain this weekend

Sure, the movie might pull in some decent numbers at the box office, but once you factor in a $300 million production budget... well, things get complicated. Maybe Michael Bay can somehow double the returns, but I just don't see myself sitting through two and a half hours of pure action without any actual substance or plot to back it up.

Bay makes movies that are way too expensive for what they actually are... maybe Bad Boys is the exception, but that's really just because of Smith and Lawrence... Transformers is just far too much money spent for that level of quality—it relies entirely on action without offering any real story...
