What an absolute moron. 🤦

Give me some of that Elvis Presley nonsense about his Flat Earth sitting in the middle of the universe according to the Bible and how God described it.
That’s actually entertaining.

Elvis Presley, journalist and author. One of the main guys pushing the Flat Earth theory around here.

I took a look through his site, and honestly, the word "Ustaše" only pops up once. It’s pretty weird for a site dedicated to fighting Nazism and their collaborators in Australia and globally, especially since most of the pieces focus on Chetniks and neo-Nazis.

Keith Martinez77 said:I'm not even sure Elvis Presley is actually Catholic. I mean, yeah, he believes Jesus Christ is God, so that checks out, but he spends half his time tearing into the Catholic Church and its dogmas—like stuff about the Virgin Mary and all that. A real Catholic isn't gonna question the Rosary or honoring the Blessed Mother, but he does... So to me, he's either a Protestant or maybe even a Messianic Jew. You know, the ones who recognize Jesus as God? The Earth is 6,000 years old, it's a flat plane, Moses' Pentateuch, pigs being unclean animals... that's all Messianic Jewish belief right there.

He's just playing the Catholic card, knowing they'd shut him up otherwise.
It helps him keep a massive audience of naive followers feeding his ego.

Flat Earth.... 🤦

Even his biggest fan on this board, Daniel Chase13, the guy pushing that young universe theory, finally backed off from that nonsense.
So why does he still push it with such ridiculous zeal? Hmmm.

"You'll know us by our fruits," says the fictional figure Jesus Christ. So, if Elvis Presley—this flat-earth creationist conspiracy theorist with his usual hate speech—is what we're looking at, are these really the fruits of Christianity? 😵

If you want to see what he's up to on a daily basis, you can always follow his updates right here: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005063086780

People like him should be reported constantly for the hate speech and lies he keeps feeding certain media outlets.

I kept flagging him on YouTube, and hopefully others will too, so he finally gets kicked off the platform. 👍
Elvis Presley in Religion ·
Daniel Chase13 said:Not really. It’s just the opinion of a small group of hyper-fixated, atheist fundamentalists who just seem to hate the Church.
There isn't any logical basis to actually respect a viewpoint like that.

Just creationist fanatics need to be kept away from the media and schools, and everything will be fine.

Daniel Chase13 said:Catholic Elvis Presley reported from his local parish outside of Los Angeles—along with his priest, somewhere after the 18:30 mark in the videohttps://www.facebook.com/duspara.elv...0791591108171/

Most Catholics aren't particularly bothered by the opinions of a small, vocal group of atheists. There isn't much reason to care about what they think, because, from a Catholic perspective, the views of a tiny minority of atheists simply don't carry any weight.
That’s why Catholic Elvis Presley is able to present regularly at the Catholic clergy's Theological-Pastoral week. You’ll notice that only Catholic publishers are featured there.

He he he. I just hope this Protestant version of Elvis Presley keeps wearing that fake Catholic mask so everyone can see who he really is. It’ll make it crystal clear to the Church and everyone else exactly who they've aligned themselves with—and how the rest of the world is going to see them (as flat-earthers and obsessed liars peddling crazy Young Earth evolution theories and all that nonsense).

👍

Catholic Elvis Presley. 👍

The Church critics are probably loving this. 🎉

Daniel Chase13 said:One thing that’s absolutely a matter of fact is that Elvis Presley is a regular fixture at the Catholic seminary’s theological workshops—you can always find him there selling his books.

He also makes frequent appearances as a guest on various Catholic radio and TV programs.

Everything else is really just minor detail.

When are the Catholic bishops finally going to snap and get rid of him? It'll happen once he becomes more of an embarrassment than a propaganda tool. You really think they don't realize this is just Protestant babble?
He’s a Protestant masquerading as a Catholic.
A total fraud and an arrogant hack.
But people love trashy nonsense and clowns, so even the Churchwardens use him until he starts looking like anti-propaganda—back when the Church insists on obsessively attacking evolution, a round Earth, and their own doctrines. Since the Church is basically a directionless bunch of slackers spinning wheels, even a shady hustler like him is a lifesaver for them.

Topic 59 of the theological–pastoral week: The prophetic dimension of the Christian in the life of the Church and society.

WTF?

That’s just how things work in America. Even Protestant fanatics can lecture everyone with their stupidity and actually get paid for it. It works for the journalists and it works for the Church, at least until they decide to toss him aside like a stray cat.

Elvis Presley thinks he can just reinterpret The Bible however he wants, ignoring centuries of Catholic Church tradition that every Christian is supposed to follow. It’s just another classic case of hypocrisy from those conservative Protestants (which Elvis Presley has basically made his entire personality) who demand everything be taken literally when it suits them, yet suddenly pivot to metaphorical nonsense whenever the Catholic Church insists on a literal reading.

Elvis Presley also ditches the literal approach when it comes to Saint Peter’s vision of the clean and unclean animals. In that passage, we read that God declared what Peter saw to be clean, even though the Old Testament called it unclean. While he usually swears by a word-for-word literalism, here Elvis Presley claims the whole thing is just an allegory about how the outcasts become part of God's people.
*
We all know Elvis Presley isn't exactly a fan of honoring the Virgin Mary or the saints. Maybe he should just come out and say whether he actually accepts the Marian dogmas mentioned above, or if his unique "reading" of Scripture leads him somewhere else entirely.

Basically, this Catholic site is calling out Elvis Presley, the quintessential Protestant fanatic, for missing the point of that New Testament story where God shows their saint, Peter, a vision implying you can eat anything. Meanwhile, Elvis Presley still clings to the idea that God banned certain animals from being eaten.

"And he saw heaven opened and a vessel coming down unto him, like a great sheet, being tied at the four corners, and descending to the earth.
And therein were all manner of beasts, and creeping things, and fowl of the air.
And there came a voice to him, saying, Rise, Peter; kill and eat.
Acts 10:12

It's total madness, honestly. 😵

But sometimes, he gets so profoundly sad... you know, when he looks at you with those soulful eyes that seem to reflect the entire hopelessness and futility of existence? That overwhelming cosmic melancholy? In those moments, you Must just toss him a piece of deli meat, because he truly looks like he hasn't eaten in a month.

Whenever there’s a neighborhood cookout or a block party, he shows up. He doesn't bark, he doesn't cause trouble, and he isn't annoying. He just sits there, looking mournful. It's impossible to stay indifferent; only a complete sociopath could deny him a bite of a burger, a slice of pizza, or some bacon... because it's the least we can do to soothe that endless, universal sorrow.

To be clear, he isn't neglected. He isn't "depressed." He goes on regular walks through the woods with us, sleeps in the bed, gets plenty of affection, loves his cats, and the kids absolutely adore him. Most of the time, he’s happy and upbeat. But there are those specific moments where only a completely heartless person could ignore his sadness.

Shallow, literal-minded people would say the clever pup just figured out a brilliant way to manipulate us for treats... but I simply refuse to believe that. ☕

Great post!

Every depressive soul and moody hipster should read this aloud daily under the threat of being denied dinner.

Spoiled brats would read it as an excuse for their mothers to coddle their oversized problems and justify why they won't move their lazy asses. 😂

Unlike that magnificent creature, who clearly understands how humans actually work. 👍

Regardless of how things shake out, Elvis Presley seems to be in high spirits—just enjoying his week at the seminary.

The American Catholic Church has really hit rock bottom if they think a pathetic, sick clown like this is what we need. 👎

But hey, that’s business as usual. Any lunatic claiming to see visions of Jesus—as long as those hallucinations line up with the party line—gets a massive spotlight.

But hey, he's got his devoted fanboy, constantly writing about him with this weird tenderness and posting on the forum like Presley is the second coming of Jesus Christ. 👍

Just wonderful. Let Presley show all those Catholics that the Earth is Flat, just like their Bible and Jesus describe. Let him lead them astray and show them God's way.

What an absolute embarrassment for them all...

The tears are already starting to fall—it’s heavy.

The misery of selfish people is pretty damn real. So is the suffering of those bloated egos trying to use "spirituality" as a way to build their own little gated communities. A mortal being doesn't have the luxury of sitting around wallowing in depression or playing the victim.
Just tell them a decent joke; if they can't even crack a smile, they're too far gone. Get out of there before you get sucked into the void too...

I don't think there’s actual farting in heaven...
But there’s probably pooping. Taking a dump on the toilet is way too much of a relief to just toss out for no reason. Why ruin something good? I mean, could anyone actually get bored of pooping? We poop every single day and we never get sick of that feeling. We could be pooping for billions of years and it probably wouldn't get old. Pooping is kind of an example of how some things are just eternal, you know? They never go away...
Though, I’d expect that in heaven, we aren't dropping stinky crap, but rather something cool. Like, every day you're wondering, "what am I gonna poop out today?" For instance, one day you might poop out the answer to some question you were dying to know back when we were living on Earth...
Uh... what?
Why wouldn't heaven be interesting?

.
Best post you've ever made. 👍 🤣
Muslims also say that in their version of paradise, even bodily fluids smell amazing from miles away.

He’s been on this deep journey of awakening for years now, soaking up all kinds of literature and life experiences... and now? He just can't find any meaning in anything. He says he hasn't found a single thing that gives him hope that we’re here for any reason other than being food.
He honestly views this whole world as a flawed piece of work—like something went wrong during the Creation. He thinks we're just programmed, living in some kind of matrix where entities stomp all over us like we're characters in a video game with zero free will. He doesn't find any joy in life; he's just deeply, profoundly unhappy. He can't stand the injustice and the sheer pain of this dimension. I can feel his sadness... and it makes me so sad just being around it. He’s one of those truly good, gentle souls... how am I even supposed to help him?

Get him professional help immediately. If he refuses, you need to distance yourself before his darkness starts pulling you under too. Try hitting him with pure optimism and laughter to shock the system, but honestly? He might just run away from you because he’s addicted to his own misery. He loves her too much... and now he's trapped in that loop. There are just as many reasons to be a pessimist as there are to be an optimist. Just choose life.

That's basically what the Catholic Church believes.... And the Virgin Mary always ascended bodily from her grave (whether she was dead first or still alive, the Church hasn't really specified), plus that mass murderer saint Elijah, Enoch...

Man, I was actually thinking about your usual stuff regarding hell...
As for the whole thing about the Savior having an eternal body in paradise, I'm with the Church on that...
I mean, it would be pretty depressing not to have my own body in eternity, I guess...

Jesus rose from the dead. With the body. So, everything changes during the Resurrection. I mean, once we all hit that eternal stage on Resurrection Day... We're gonna get upgraded bodies. After showing himself to his disciples, Jesus then... Ate some fish. So, there's this way of looking at it... Just the physical body. So, which part of this mess is actually free?

From the Catholic Catechism:

Sky.

Those who pass away in God’s grace and friendship, having been fully purified, are truly alive. Forever with Christ..

We even have pictures of paradise.

The Jehovah's Witnesses know all about it...

image

🎉

In Islam, the vibe in paradise—Jannah—is a bit more erotic:

image

Hindus are a little more polite; think flutes and shepherdesses with multiple Krishnas:

image

Buddhists go for something more abstract:

image

Catholics and various Christians just float on clouds in white while doves fly around:
(That furious Yahweh is nowhere to be seen...)

image

And they get a front-row seat to watch their loved ones suffer in Jesus' hell (according to that theology professor, Thomas Aquinas):

image

In the Muslim version of hell, though, things get way more sadistic:

image

The specifics of the torture in Allah-Muhammad's hell, as well as the perks of paradise, are laid out in the Quran. Guess it's all true then....

darkraven said:I mean, how is anyone even supposed to imagine it? It probably just turns out exactly how you expect when you actually go through it. I remember reading this account about near-death experiences—specifically about that "light" everyone talks about—but it was from people who don't live here in the "wealthy" West. Some of them described their version of "paradise" as looking basically like Los Angeles, lol. Just endless rows of cars, massive skyscrapers, factories, all that stuff.

But from what I can recall, around here, that "heaven" usually looks more like some kind of garden, though it’s incredibly vivid and almost impossible to put into words. Then again, some people swear they see cities and things like that. To me, it seems pretty obvious that the imagery and symbolism of Eden and the "Kingdom of God" on Earth heavily influence these visions, and honestly, that holds true even for people who aren't even part of Abrahamic religions.

Meanwhile, for desert nomads, heaven is all lush oases with cool streams and deep shade, while hell is just unbearable heat where your skin burns off and Allah has to swap it for a new one.

Makes me wonder what Eskimos imagine heaven looks like... probably somewhere really warm with streams of fruit tea and lakes of hot chocolate, while hell is just freezing cold. 😁
