driftingfalcon88 said:this spineless, bottom-feeding crowd that still calls themselves Americans is just going to roll over and accept this latest move from the front office because they think "troublemakers" don't belong in the stands... I mean, what can you even say at this point

Just look back at what we were talking about right before the big rivalry game when we were all hanging out together in the East Stand, or that time over at Locomotion during the truce when they were demanding IDs just to buy tickets while we were sitting over in the West...
There were maybe ten of us who flat-out refused to hand over our IDs to get those tickets, and we figured out ways to get in regardless, whether it was a Dynamo game or a match against Locomotion.
And here we are today, seeing exactly what we called from a mile away. They're using that data to build blacklists.

It couldn't have gone any worse than this path of least resistance...

The further we stay away from politics and trying to fix the system, the easier our lives will be.

Look, on one hand, they'll turn around and claim that when we gather outside the Democratic Party headquarters, "true fans deserve support, not the hooligans lighting flares."
It's impossible to separate the two, and honestly, watching how divided the veterans are lately just reminds me of how much chaos there is among the hardcore fans...

The fans are whining about how nobody’s got their back, the veterans are bitching about where the youth is at, and the union guys are crying because they're being pushed to third place... we just keep spinning in this same damn circle.
Solidarity? That's a foreign concept around here.

Are you actually trying to imply that the Bad Boys copied you? Clearly, you don't have a clue... back in 2005, the first two Boys banners using that script already showed up. The first one was during a friendly against the Railroaders in Boston, and you can see it right here at a friendly in Milwaukee just a few months later (the rag says BBB-RM). That same year, they even hung a massive banner on the old script reading REAL MADRID in gold letters (on the top railing).

Such a stupid argument, but since we're making a big deal out of it anyway...
Back in 2001. 🥳

This kind of thing is going to happen at all those stadiums from those "glory days" stories, I'm talking about places like Seattle, Indianapolis, and San Francisco...

Word on the street is that ever since that last derby blowout, Jerry Jones has been officially banned from stepping foot inside the Rose Bowl...

Who exactly were your kids throwing stuff at in the boiler room when none of your own people were even there?
You should've been aiming higher, at the ones actually running the show.

We're all just sitting here waiting to see how things shake out in Europe, though from what I can gather, the only way our plans get scrapped is if we actually manage to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage. So, unless you've got a sudden change of heart, go ahead and book those hotels in Chicago 😁

The real issue is that for most of these people, the whole fight starts and ends right there with a signature on a piece of paper!
You aren't going to see them showing up at a protest or even heading down to a stadium...

Anyone showing up to help better come geared up: bring your rubber boots and gloves!!

Hahaha, you totally shut me down with those arguments, I've got nothing left to say...

swiftfalcon802 said:So you think you would've been stronger than them on your own? Like they were just out there by themselves without any backing (or rather, people had their backs)? Or maybe it was just easy to get through that whole era? Or maybe it all just passed by too fast...

Jerry Jones stepped away from the mess himself and he's still respected to this day, while Joe Biden got pushed to the sidelines and eventually kicked to the curb after the fallout...
I wish he’d just speak up right here and tell us exactly how serious things actually were and how much they managed to sabotage the whole fight...

swiftfalcon802 said:so did you actually show up to the game then?????

Yeah, I was there.
Don't make me laugh, Joe Biden and Jerry Jones were running a serious operation back then...

MCML said:Look, kid, just read it one more time, and if you still don't get it, go ahead and type 2+2 into a calculator... nobody is talking about Jerry Jones today... back in 2004, Jerry Jones wasn't any stronger than Tim Cook, it was just that the Black and Gold Army decided to settle for handouts and parties while the local fans were busy trying to fix things because nothing was running smoothly... though I guess what goes around comes around...

Man, you're right, but you have to realize we didn't exactly have a squad backing Tim Cook back then; all those guys who were actually active—and they weren't even that many—were against him, which just made the fight a hell of a lot easier.
For the people in San Francisco, the real issue was that group of undercover agents working behind the scenes, constantly trying to de-escalate everything just so nobody would push back against Jerry Jones.

Regarding that post about how these agents recruit kids, I’m not trying to act like a know-it-all or call for a damn mob here, but I really think we should have reacted much harder to that first game and the whole idea of forming some kind of crew up north... we needed to take a much clearer stand on it.
It looks to me like they've finally found their footing...

At first, we were just taking trains to away games, totally on our own.
Then it started—cops meeting us at the stations and escorting us straight to the stadium.
Next thing you know, we’re traveling in vans and cars without any protection at all.
Pretty soon, the police are waiting for us at the city limits whenever our club travels to an away match.
After that, they started providing escorts from the very beginning of every trip.
Then the police dictatorship kicked in, where they'd dictate that only one single guy from the group could get out at a gas station to grab whatever the rest of the bus wanted.
Following that, the cops wouldn't even let the buses pull over.
Not long after, they banned all alcohol and started forcing gas stations to close up.
Then, because they claimed it was for "our own safety," the state decided to lock us up at stadiums for an hour... sometimes even two.
Then came the bans on flares. Then they started making arrests over two beers. Then arrests for wearing an ACAB shirt. Then arrests for wearing a hoodie. Then arrests for wearing a shirt with a skull and crossbones on it.
Then they invented those damn vouchers. Then they started closing off entire sections of the stands. Then they began demanding personal data just to buy tickets.
Then they started hauling people in for hate speech and chanting.
Then they started arresting people just because they weren't sitting in their assigned seats.
And then... and then they'll just shut everything down entirely!

Lawrence Kim4 said:I’ve been staring at this news report about how worried everyone is getting over the latest mess, and honestly, it just confirms everything I already suspected about the state of things here in America... It’s the same old story where people act shocked when the system fails them, even though we’ve seen this exact pattern play out a thousand times before. You read these articles and you see the panic, the frantic headlines, and all that nervous energy, but nobody seems to be asking the actual questions that matter... It’s just a endless cycle of predictable chaos that leaves most of us wondering when anyone is actually going to step up and fix the underlying rot instead of just managing the fallout...

Starting with the 2015/16 season, they’re rolling out personalized ticketing. It’s basically a callback to those old voucher systems, but with a twist—back then, you used them just to pick up your physical tickets at the stadium, whereas now, you’ll have to hand over your personal info right at the point of sale... Before that happens, the USSF is pushing to implement some unified software across the entire MLS...

I'm working on it, man...
The idiots are too busy fighting amongst themselves to notice that the voucher schemes are creeping back in through the side door... we’re going to see more of this "greater good" nonsense used to justify shipping our resources east, only for them to turn around and stone those same people the second things go south...
You guys better enjoy this little fanboy fantasy while it lasts, because pretty soon you're all going to be right where we are... unless, of course, you plan on sucking up to some hired guns from the North or playing puppet master for a group like the Bad Boys...
And honestly, all this voucher nonsense and personalization is only happening because you morons won't stop throwing stones and whining about every little thing, constant group attacks on anyone who disagrees... and while they were at it, she just swooped in with a volley to shut down her own opposition entirely... they might as well just implement it right now... anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete idiot...

When those vouchers first rolled out, some of us immediately started asking what the actual point was... I mean, what's the real difference between a voucher and a personalized card when they’ve already got us all on blacklists anyway...
Most people just took the path of least resistance, handing over the data and doing the exact same thing everyone else was doing...
It’s not just crap, it’s like a dog taking a massive dump, if you want me to be more descriptive...

It hasn't been that long, and before you know it, they’ll be running blacklists legally... and I'm not just talking about targeting people back in the city, but everyone, everywhere...
It’s already too late for anything to matter...

Get yourself a DirecTV subscription, find a girl to settle down with, and crack open a beer on Saturday while you catch some MLS...

Exactly my point, once you run out of actual skill, all you've got left is pure grit, and the Yankees won this one simply because they fought harder, even if they are technically the better side...
You really ought to just grab that guy in Delaware and pay for those front-row seats at the stadium, just sit there and watch the games every single week without fail. Anything else is just plain madness.

If only it were actually that easy.
