Thanks for all the input, everyone, though I’ll be the first to admit I’m still just as lost as I was before. If we're talking about a virtual card, does that mean I just look at my phone to find where this digital thing actually lives after the cashier 🤷
I mean, I know the deal, but honestly, screw all of it—trying to go down there and play nice just isn't working. I already went through the whole motion thinking it was settled... now my refusal to play ball is going to land me with a legal seizure.
I feel like I need to go after them full tilt, but I'm stuck wondering where the line is before the cops start knocking on my door.
Maybe vividraven26 can weigh in with some actual smarts 🙂

Did you even bother calling them beforehand—you know, just to ask what the deal was? I suspect they get emails like that every single day, and frankly, they probably just toss them in the trash without a second thought, unless, of course, you actually show up with that moron in tow. In that case, they’ll likely use your email as evidence against you in a criminal trial.
I didn't call because I was actually at their office about ten days ago, and they straight-up told me I wouldn't be getting anything from them. They lied.
The email is drafted and ready to go, so I'll just decide whether or not to hit send...
I'm Henry Hernandez7, an account holder at Chase Bank living over in San Francisco at xxxx, and I just got slapped with a bill for some service I never even asked for—which, if you actually bother to look at your own records, you’d see that's clearly the case. Is it seriously necessary for me to show up at your branch just to ask why I was billed $34 under request number xxxxxx/xx, forcing me to humiliate your staff in front of everyone in god knows how many witnesses, or should I just bring a sledgehammer along to demolish the nearest branch instead?
I expect a response ASAP (it's Friday, so let's say by noon on Monday) confirming that I don't need to swing by and that I don't owe you a single damn cent.
With a warning, xxxxxx xxxxx
Is there any chance the cops might show up at my door for this? If so, what did I actually break? And honestly, if they just haul me in and can't do anything about it anyway, I might as well just send this now, right?
But I didn't actually get a physical card 🤔 All I see on my phone screen when I open the app is a digital one. So it's just a virtual card, even though the description here makes it sound like I should be getting a plastic one in the mail 🤷
Can someone walk me through what this actually is? I swung by my Chase branch yesterday to get mobile banking set up, and we managed to get it all working—shoutout to the teller who helped me out. Since I’ve got the app now, I decided to shut down my old online banking since I don't really need both. While we were at it, she offered me PayPal and gave me some quick rundown on it. I just kept nodding along like I actually understood what was happening, but honestly, between the massive crowd and the general chaos in the branch, I didn't grasp a single word. I just figured "sure, why not" and we installed it. She mentioned I’d get some kind of SMS with setup info within 24 hours to get the app running, but nothing has hit my phone yet. In the meantime, I just jumped into the app using my PIN and it worked perfectly fine. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I messed up. I thought she said there weren't any fees, but given how little I actually processed during that whole interaction, I might have totally misread the situation 🤔.
So, what am I supposed to do with this thing now? 🤷
Just expanding on that a bit... seriously though, how would a company like X actually go about selling something like olive oil to a firm Y located in the States, Japan, Africa, or wherever else?

I get where you're coming from (even if the accident report cleared everything up), but honestly, if there's a backhoe, a spider, or whatever else needs to be on the track, there's no way they can work without an SC. It’s easy to play the smart guy after the fact, but I really hope they make this a formal rule starting next race because of what happened here.

They aren't gonna let her back out in the open just yet, at least not until they're sure she's actually doing okay and the investigation wraps up. Honestly, the real question is whether they’ll even bother letting her go public once all that's done.
Could the folks watching at home actually see it on the TV broadcast?
Is it actually possible that there isn't a single clip showing the exact moment of the crash? I've been hunting for that one shot, but it’s just a total blank everywhere...
I’ve honestly never been more stoked about the mod lineup, even though I’m sticking around myself—nothing personal, Carol Price4😁. It’s a bummer that Lily P. isn't moderating anymore, though; truly a shame. I mean, who’s gonna have my back now when I inevitably start rambling on about nothing? 😢
Honestly, I was thinking more along the lines of organic stuff—which is why I mentioned I’d rather grow my own than just buy whatever’s on the shelf—but then that guy on the forum brought up industrial apples for the sake of the whole thing, which pretty much flies in the face of eating healthy, organic food. Maybe I'm just misreading the situation, though.🤷
