So, I see people asking how to ditch that annoying-as-hell pop-up on Windows XP, but can anyone tell me how to kill it on Windows 7? 🙂 The OS caught on that my license isn't genuine, so now I've got this lovely, persistent "not genuine" notification bugging me. To make matters worse, it keeps nuking my wallpaper, leaving me staring at a black screen, and constantly throwing alerts about being a victim (well, yeah, I am 🙄, a victim of all this damn modern tech)...
Ethan Thomas10 said:And then, you know, you're scrolling through Meta late at night via Wall, and there it is—all those "goodnight" messages, "sleep tight," "love you," "thinking of you"... just all that stuff.
I mean, wouldn't everyone just... not do that? Like, if you're under 18, why even bother? You could just hit that hide option or whatever and just scrub them from your friends list entirely. Simple, right? I don't even know why we're arguing about this, honestly. Like, what’s even the point of this whole thread? I really don't see it. ☕

Was this originally posted on the EPA? LOL. Just one. 🤦
Hey, I’m hanging out in Savannah right now and was wondering if anyone here has dealt with that orthodontist, Dr. Percač? Is he actually any good?
If you’ve been to his office—I think he might have a spot over in Akron too, if I'm seeing that right—could you drop a comment here or just shoot me a DM?
Karen Adams2 said:Figured I’d jump in here too; now that I finally figured out how to stop all those annoying multi-quote notifications🙄 I’ve got a new mission—how do I add a little extra flair next to my username? You know, right where it says 'Registered User'... any idea how to change that bit?
Quick links > Edit Profile > you should see something like set custom user title — just type whatever you want there 🙂
You can find them at Target, though I actually spotted some at the local shop back in my hometown recently. So yeah, they’re definitely stocked in NYC too. The little snack packs—they totally gave me major childhood nostalgia. Honestly, I almost grabbed a bunch myself.🙂
Anyway, I haven't heard anyone else mention them being "soldier snacks," but those tiny little things always remind me of being on military duty when I was a kid.😁
I was honestly on the verge of a total meltdown last night.. The errors just won't quit! It’s constant—one minute I’m hitting a 503, then a 504, then suddenly my posts are doubling up on me (Took me like half an hour just to get one single post out the door)

Reddit debates
A spot to talk about current news... (like from the nightly news)
A section for DeviantArt style work done in Photoshop or whatever—we could even run contests...
I could totally write up a full set of rules and explanations for all of it too...
Anyone else interested in seeing this happen?
Man, we basically have all those topics already. No, seriously, he just wants a Debate section! 🙄 Aren't these already debates? Besides, there's already way too much going on here every single day, and now you want to drag in even more? Everything you listed is pretty much already here. Maybe try actually participating in the discussions first before jumping over to the Suggestions board...
Douglas Patel98 said:Oh sure, and if we actually did that, you'd want to be the moderator too, wouldn't you?🙏🙏
Yeah, obviously. I've already got the "rules" and everything ready to go. 😁
Thanks a ton for the heads up 😉...Man, I’m definitely not getting any younger. Thirty is creeping up on me faster than I'd like, so honestly, a chair like that would probably be a lifesaver for my back right about now 😁
But $700? 😲 Jeez, that's a bit much. They're really pushing it with those price tags... Maybe in ten years, or if I actually hit the jackpot on a Powerball ticket 🙂
Nicole Diaz37 said:Are you asking rhetorically or actually reading this thread?
I'm reading the thread, alright.😉
I know I need to grab some glasses ASAP, and honestly, decent chairs are always way too pricey... My office chair is just as much of a disaster as my setup at home, which is basically some cheap junk from a clearance sale at IKEA.😢
Between working an eight-hour shift and then heading straight to class—where I'm usually staring at a monitor until about 8 PM—it’s brutal. And since I’m one of those older non-traditional students dealing with this whole modern degree system 😠, by the time I finally get home, there's still more work waiting for me that requires pulling all-nighters.
So, uh, about those Tergon chairs... how do you even get them? Is it an order thing or what? And what are we talking price-wise? I'll try to save up, maybe skip a few meals or something, just so I can invest in a real chair because this current situation is becoming seriously unbearable..
Jessica Cook11 said:Honestly, just go grab one of those big Pilates balls and start sitting on it. Seriously, it’s a total game-changer for your circulation—it'll do wonders for your veins. You might feel a little goofy at first, though. It definitely takes a minute to get used to not having a regular chair under you, but once you find your balance, it's worth the struggle.🙂
What even is that ball? Honestly, what is the point? 👎 So, I actually tried using one of those chairs for a bit—maybe a couple of months? At first, I wasn't sure, like, it seemed totally fine. But then, man, everything just started killing me. My neck was trashed, my muscles were constantly tight... honestly, it got so bad I just tossed the whole thing in the trash. It wasn't worth the headache.
So, real talk... how do you actually deal with the fallout from sitting around for like, 16 hours a day? Asking for a friend (okay, fine, it's me). My back is basically screaming at this point. 😢 Everything’s just constantly blurry in front of my eyes, and man, my back is absolutely killing me. My legs are already starting to feel the damage too, if you know what I mean. When you're stuck sitting in one spot day in and night like this, a cigarette is pretty much your only loyal friend keeping you awake. Honestly, the way things are set up here in America, it feels like the whole system is just designed to wreck your health—both physically and mentally. 😠)
rapidrider3 said:^^pfft, even that one’s got a 'w' in it..!!
And I honestly don't get it now—is someone just being extra about wanting an expensive phone, or what's the actual deal here?
Yeah, I'm stuck on that too.. Why the 'W'?? Seriously, using it is just totally pointless regardless🙄
But she claims it's just how all the younger generations write nowadays. Like, if you grew up with actual paper and pens, you wouldn't be out here acting so goofy and illiterate😁 .. Plus, there's the whole phone thing.. Just so everyone sees it cost three grand. They'll have photos posted on Facebook in two seconds😁. Whatever
Look, the movie isn't half bad, but man, he is just... ugly. Like, unnervingly plastic, if you know what I mean. Just super fake looking.😁 😁 , Me and Marisa Tomei? We looked like Beauty and the Beast together.
Ugh, those banners are seriously getting on my nerves, but hey, marketing is marketing, I guess... I remember staring at my screen wondering why people even bother with those loud-ass pop-ups until I saw that UNICEF kid ad 🙄. At the end of the day, they just want to grab your attention, no matter how annoying the method.
Man, if I actually had some extra cash lying around, I’d be running ads on this forum too. Honestly? I’d probably make them so obnoxious that everyone would just mute their speakers immediately 😁 (though, between us, it wouldn't hurt if they gave us regulars a little discount on ad space 🙂 )
Yeah, I caught a whiff of it at LimeLight—not totally sure about the exact milliliter count, but it didn't seem massive, maybe like 30-50ml? Anyway, go check out 🙂 , but honestly, it’s overpriced just because everyone’s talking about it right now.
Bottom line: it’s not really a perfume for someone super young, so it kind of depends on how old she is. I’m creeping up on thirty myself, so I don’t even touch it (yet). 😁
If you're buying for a younger girl, maybe grab her something soft like a Kenzo (Flower) or maybe some Cacharel (Amor Amor)... or if she’s into sweeter stuff, even a cheaper Lolita Lempicka would work. Just tell the sales clerks 🙂. But definitely skip that Chanel for her.
Can you believe the price of Chanel No. 5 right now? It’s sitting at like $900 or something! Absolutely insane. I saw it the other day and almost walked out of the department store immediately. Honestly, at those prices, you'd think they were infusing the bottle with actual liquid gold or something. My cousin was telling me she used to get hers for a fraction of that back in the day, but hey, inflation hits everyone, I guess. Still, nine hundred bucks for a scent? That’s just wild.
Emily Peterson73 said:There’s really nothing to worry about. If you're sending stuff like cards, just send them via certified mail with COD. It basically means the person can't actually grab the cards until they pay up, and then the mail carrier brings that $467 right back to your doorstep. I have no clue what the exact shipping fee is... but I think it's around $10.
Thanks 🙂, BUT honestly, it feels like a total scam if you ask me!!! I was out doing this earlier today and those $467 shipping fees came out to $26, plus an extra 😲 on top of it!!!! My god, they are absolutely bleeding people dry for one little certified letter (it wasn't even a package, just some paper that weighed next to nothing)! This woman at the counter was slapping on ten different stamps and stickers like she was mailing a crate to Tasmania.. Jeez😠 ..Anyway, I just split the cost down the middle with the other person (messaged them immediately)..
