briskhound2 said:@bluecyclist64 - seriously, if you drop another brain-dead post like that one, you're looking at an even heavier ban... maybe try being a little more careful with how you talk to people on here...
And what about scrubbing this entire string of unprovoked insults? 🤔
Olivia Roberts7 said:I’d say the safest bet is hitting those early matinees around 4 or 5, or maybe late screenings after 9 PM. That middle slot is usually just a swamp of garbage, especially if it’s some mainstream fluff—mostly comedies or those heavily marketed horror flicks that aren't actually scary enough to warrant a crowd.
I got lucky last time I went to one of those during high school; it was nothing but non-stop giggling, constant chatter, and people stretching out so far you practically have to dodge them🙄, not to mention screaming at certain scenes. It was a total disaster...
Then there’s the food situation, which is arguably the biggest headache. Honestly, I’ve never encountered anything truly offensive, but I’d like to believe the idea of someone bringing in a massive plate of greasy street food is just an urban legend.😲
Regardless, I’m all for banning people carrying large bags or similar gear. Who knows what they’re hiding in there, or how much they might terrorize us with collective burping... Besides, it’s easy enough to sneak some snacks or a soda into a bag without anyone noticing. And please, let's stick to normal flavors; nobody wants to sit in a packed theater smelling onion or leek chips.
There’s simply no excuse for people who can't behave in a theater. I’ve been going to the movies since I was a kid and I never acted like that. Even when I was stuck in a painfully boring movie, I stayed quiet and didn't bother anyone, whether I was alone or with a group. At this point, if you can't act right, just stay home and stream it. Some basic decorum is required. If people can't manage that, staff should step in, give them a warning, and if they persist, kick them out. Let's see how they behave next time.☕
I remember wearing a pizza cut [Does that count? 🤣] once, and I think maybe once I had a cheese pastry during a movie. But I ate it very quietly, if that even matters...🙂
Jokes aside, if the food isn't incredibly pungent or messy enough to give the janitorial staff a nightmare, I’ll eat it. Whether it’s fried chicken or whatever that woman mentioned bringing into the cinema earlier... I'm in.🤷
I honestly miss Bemudni so much it hurts.🕺 And I’m not the only one, either.
😢
If you all seriously think he’s just become some breeding ground for clones, why not implement a rule where you need, say, a hundred posts under your belt before you're even allowed to write on this board? 😁
I just realized that back in late October, I was hit with some minor garnishment from... $60 It all went straight through my checking account at JPMorgan Chase...🤷
I’ve never had anyone reach out to tell me some kind of legal seizure was coming for my accounts, nor do I have the slightest clue why, how, or even what for... It doesn't state the reason behind the garnishment at all. Just nothing...
I haven't received any kind of notice... and honestly, I can't even begin to wrap my head around why anyone would be trying to garnish my wages or seize my assets in the first place...🤔 I don't have any outstanding debts... nothing on my books at all.
All it says is that the money went straight into the federal treasury... 🤔
Are you kidding me right now? How is that even possible...?😂
How does one actually find out if it works? What on earth... Was that really it?...😕 If I can't find a clear explanation sitting right there in my online banking portal... then honestly, what is a teller at JPMorgan Chase actually going to tell me? They'll just stare at the same screen I'm looking at. It’s all just a dead end...
Look, I’m actually out here trying to find a friend for you... 😬
And maybe—subconsciously, mind you, I'm not saying this was intentional 🙂—maybe you feel a sense of superiority...
Or perhaps, if your relationships are feeling cold (and I am saying IF), you feel like you don't actually deserve anything better? 😕
It’s most likely just a pure coincidence that you happen to be surrounded by a slightly higher-than-average number of diagnoses in your immediate circle, but even so, that doesn't really say much about who you are as a person. 🙂
What you described sounds like a standard variation of being human... everyone hits those low points where you just lose the will to get up and "grind" through the day or through life itself 🤷, even if there is a significant lack of sleep involved. 🤔
How long do these "high energy" periods usually last for you? And do you try to make up for the lost sleep afterward, or do you just end up feeling completely drained... like the bill has finally come due..?
It feels like it’s just playing with me a little more 🤣🤣
Otherwise, there isn't really any other influence 🤷
Where the hell are they holding the vote?!?! Seriously!!?? I need access to euthanasia, and I need it fast...🙂
restlesstiger102 said:the whole process involves boiling it just like I said, then once it's lukewarm, you pour it into the device😁 and honestly, you’re going to need a partner to help you out (I definitely couldn't manage it on my own) to actually push the damn thing in and gently squeeze the fluid inside.
Oh, god... 🤣
I actually know this woman, maybe in her sixties, who keeps one of those things sitting right there in her bathroom, and I've always wondered what on earth 🤣
it's even for... But then again, I suppose you could probably handle the application yourself. This lady lives alone—no partner in sight—and she clearly finds a way to
somehow make it 🤷work

slyfalcon7 said:I have no idea how I’m going to pull this off. I’m super introverted and I hate talking about my personal life, and like you said, everyone else seems to have their own tight-knit group. It makes me feel like some kind of extra, just hanging around waiting for someone to notice me... it's exhausting. Just like what you mentioned, I'm genuinely terrified that I'm going to lose all my motivation if I can't find my footing.
Look, they aren't exactly looking for a deep confession from you either.🙂Just stick to current events, what's happening on campus, or even just complaining about the food in the dining hall... 🤷
If you're just looking for people to swap study guides with, grab some info, or hit up an IT lab, then honestly, you don't need to lay your soul bare at all.
To me, it sounds like you're actually searching for
friends... and if that's the case, well, that's a whole different story entirely.

Dašta. It’s like being in the wake of a massive war. Everyone is just scrambling, trying to grab whatever scraps they can find in the chaos... 😬
Bring Mickey back!👏
Mostly just because he cares so much about us...😍
And honestly, we all just miss him.
He’s finally turning a corner..😁
He even promised he’d be a total peach from now 🙂on.🙂
It’s definitely not going to just vanish on its own, no...☕
Just go see a doctor, please... 🙂... otherwise you're just going to end up wrecking your skin and ruining that tattoo. There's really no point in sitting around waiting for it to spread any further...
The doctor is there to help, after all. They won't be offended if you actually show up for an appointment!😁
Look, kid, a tattoo isn't some little joke where you just play around testing random lotions and creams to see what sticks via trial and error... it’s serious.🙂
Why don't you just head over to the artist who actually did the work and ask them? Or better yet, check in with your primary care physician. They can take a look and probably recommend something much stronger and specifically designed for this kind of thing.
Ugh, I honestly can't stand the whole lip-printing thing on paper. It just leaves this greasy, oily residue behind... and after a little while, it looks downright filthy. You know, those lipstick marks eventually just get dull and tacky, which is honestly pretty gross. But for some reason, people just keep doing it, especially when they're trying to be all sentimental with love notes.🤷😁
Raymond Castillo said:I’ve always thought that logo looks exactly like "The House of the Rising Sun"... You can practically see the sunbeams radiating out from it...
For those who aren't familiar with the song, it's about a prison in New Orleans... though, honestly, it could apply to just about any prison out there.
Every single time I listened to that track, I used to picture it being about some high-stakes casino or a shady brothel...🤣
Yep, it’s all just guesswork at this point. If they don't buy it, they really ought to find a doctor to actually look into what's going on with their gut...
The only way to get a straight answer is through an in-person exam and actual diagnostic testing, whereas this stuff we're doing over the internet...👍
it's just a bunch of strangers—people who won't have to face any consequences for being wrong—speculating endlessly without any real substance.👎
Nancy Grant77 said:How tasteless. 👎
So what, we’re all just playing doctor here now???😕
What do you mean, "tasteless"??😕 The woman is asking for an opinion.😠 If I’m not totally mistaken, this forum exists specifically for exchanging views. Of course, provided she still has
permission from the owner of her gut to post a photo...
.and as long as she hasn't posted a photo of her friend's feces... now *that* would be tasteless... 🤣
Your friend
has every right to demand that a doctor take a closer look at her bloating if she suspects it's caused by something else—basically, if she doesn't buy the idea that it's just side effects from the meds her psychiatrist and primary care physician are insisting are the culprit.
She should head to her GP and say, "I want a second opinion," and by law, they
must provide a referral with a preliminary diagnosis marked specifically for a "second opinion."
Been there, done it 👍
Sure, she might privately worry about being a nuisance, but... who actually cares about their opinion? It's her right.
I just don't get why she doesn't trust what they told her??🤷
Dealing with androgen buildup and fat gain because of PCOS?😁(Lately, it feels like I’m seeing PCOS mentioned in every single conversation 😉) But yeah, you can definitely find people talking about it here.
I spent several years working in a sauna... and let me tell you, looking at some of the regulars who used to come in (some of whom had been hitting the heat their entire lives), I didn't notice them being any healthier than the rest of the population... if anything, they seemed to deal with heart attacks, angina, arterial plaque... the usual stuff you see in the average American... 😵I don't have the exact statistics or percentages to compare how common this is in the US versus elsewhere, but based on what I saw and heard (if "heard" is even the right way to put it, but 🤣well...), I think it's a massive, massive, massive misconception that saunas actually do wonders for your cardiovascular system... ☕
In my view, the original purpose of the sauna, maybe a hundred years ago, was purely for physical pleasure (because, let’s be honest, that cooling sensation after a session is incredibly relaxing, actually fantastic); and for socializing—sort of as a way of building community)...
As for it being "beneficial"... honestly, from everything I witnessed, I just don't buy it.
Sure, if you say it clears out your sinuses—that sounds realistic, logical, and I've actually seen it happen, so I can believe that. 🙂
But preventing heart disease and vascular issues? Yeah, right.... ☕
