darkmarlin16 hasn't sent a response—at least I didn't get one—but maybe it reached Sep.🤷 I'll check in with him.
ruggedfox28 wrote that you're spot on—what you quoted actually has absolutely nothing to do with this.
Look, if the rules actually covered this situation, you wouldn't even be asking how the offer was going to be handled in the first place... 😁
darkmarlin16 hasn't sent over a reply yet—at least I haven't seen anything on my end—but honestly, there's a good chance it already landed with Sep.🤷 I would've checked in with him.
How exactly do you think you're going to check if he actually made it to Sep? 🤣 Look, if darkmarlin16 actually followed the rulebook when he sent his reply, then you should be getting that same response too—not just some filtered version from Seppa. This pretty much confirms they didn't follow the standard procedure. If they had done things by the book to make sure everything was legit, you wouldn't be sitting here wondering, assuming they even bothered to send anything at all. Or is there some other way to send this that isn't actually listed in the rulebook?

Honestly, age doesn't really have much to do with it... When you're dealing with a wet track, it all comes down to how the driver feels that brake pedal, sensing the intensity of the braking, hitting the corner entry speed, and just having the guts to push right to the edge. Those aren't exactly skills that just vanish as you get older. If anything, you could argue that all that experience gathered over the years actually helps more than it hurts when the rain starts coming down. When it comes to eyesight, sure, having bad vision can definitely cause issues... but I honestly doubt Grandpa would even be behind the wheel if he wasn't in peak physical shape to handle driving at that level. We're talking pure extremes here... everything from absolutely masterclass drives in the pouring rain to those total rookie disasters where someone just completely loses it. 🤷
If the weather keeps acting up... this button takes over... ☕ The car is fast, but they completely botched that pit stop during practice...
Anyway, what’s everyone’s take on "the old man"? Honestly, looking at how he's been spinning out in the rain lately, I think the whole "rain master" myth is totally falling apart. Sure, he had some solid wet races back in the day, but plenty of other drivers pulled those off too... This pattern of sliding all over the track whenever it gets wet is more what you'd expect from someone like Massa or Maldonado, or just your typical mid-field filler, not a legend with a reputation for dominating in the rain... 🤷
So, did darkmarlin16 ever get back to us, and if he did, what's the word?
How are we supposed to look at this Paški offer? Is it just totally invalid? Did he fail to actually send it? Or are we looking at a straight-up DSQ from the super league?
Just hopping from one car to the next... 🙂 I haven't even gotten to play three of my matchups yet, and I'm already sitting just two points behind the runner-up 😂
But hey, second place isn't really what I'm aiming for here... the next round is absolutely massive if I want to stay in the hunt for the championship title 🙏 Next up is darkmarlin16, and honestly, a win is non-negotiable. If I slip up, he jumps to a 12-point lead, and catching that kind of gap would be a nightmare... but if I can take him down, the schedule for the following two rounds looks pretty sweet. If luck is on my side and things fall into place—which shouldn't be too hard—I could be within striking distance, just 2 points behind the leader after round 13 🙏

Did you even watch the race? 🤔 He tried the same move on Fernando Alonso, but when he ran into a better driver, it just didn't work out... 😂The master shut him down... and used him perfectly as a buffer between himself and the Index finger. 🙏
Index finger just blew it all in the wind 😂, and here we are, waiting for our forum’s resident expert to give us a totally unbiased breakdown of what's actually going on with Index finger and both McLaren drivers 😁

Man, those Finger and Red Bull fans sure act like they're the kings of the world whenever they start talking about how other teams' drivers get bullied... 🤦
