Jason Campbell70 said:I mean, sure, they could just strip all the points earned by cars running illegal setups if they really wanted to go that route.👍
hollowhawk412 said:man, what is actually wrong with you...
If you actually stood by what you said before, you might as well be rooting for them to have last year's title stripped away too...
I mean, remember when Ferrari's floor was ruled illegal and they had to redesign the whole car last season
right after Australia, but they didn't lose a single point from that race in Australia
Jason Campbell70 said:The rule clearly bans any moving aero parts.
But that little fin on the engine cover over at Renault and Red Bull—is that an aero surface? Yeah, it is.
Is it movable? You bet it is.
And is that kind of thing against the rules? Absolutely.
I just hope Max is feeling generous when he starts handing out penalties.😁
mistybear87 said:But what if they haven't even finished mounting all the tires? 😬
I mean, I’m pretty sure the car would still be up on the stands, but it’d be one hell of a sight if the driver just floored it and sent a mechanic flying while they were still trying to tighten a lug nut. ☕
Jason Campbell70 said:It’s honestly pretty straightforward; they have such a massive edge over everyone else that they can basically use the actual race as a live testing ground for whatever new solutions they want to try out on the car.☕
Yeah, Arthur Doyle70, there's probably some kind of catch involved, but if I caught that correctly, the lollipop man is still standing in his usual spot—it's just that he isn't holding a physical lollipop anymore, likely because they've swapped it out for some remote control that lets him trigger the signal on the display instead.🤷
Jason Campbell70 said:A little late to the party with this one😬
Has anyone else caught how Ferrari swapped out the lollipop man for that aero-shape indicator thing? I'm guessing it uses some kind of LED color coding to signal the driver.🤷

I’ve always wondered which poor soul is going to be the first one to screw up the rear tire warm-up right before the lights go out...
Found an answer for you.☕
Raymond Ortiz89 said:I’m just going to tell you this once for all your questions.
I hope you finally realized it isn't some small-town Midwest drama.
Robert Reed5 said:everyone is incredibly close now
Austin Evans said:Kimi's parting shot at the end of it all was basically, "We could have been faster if we wanted to, but there was just no point; nobody was even close enough to give us a scare." 😂
Roger Williams3 said:Nothing left to say. You've made your point. 😉
Roger Williams3 said:🙄🙄
don't do that, I'm actually going to die laughing here 🙄
hollowhawk412 said:Man, you really are something else... just sitting there laughing at everything like nothing matters 😉
Roger Williams3 said:Rough break for Alonso... though I'm actually looking forward to seeing what Renault brings to the table in Turkey, it should be an interesting one..
If they play their cards right, they might actually end up being a massive headache for the frontrunners before the season wraps up.
At least Kovalainen walked away from that without a scratch.👍
The race was pretty much as dull as you'd expect.
mistybear87 said:Come on, honestly, expecting someone to actually die is a bit much, especially given how things work these days.
It’s a good thing he didn't end up with a broken leg, because I don't think any of us really have the patience to deal with that kind of recovery right now. ☕
Henry Sanchez64 said:Just when I thought I’d finally escaped the lunatics
one jumps down my throat
look, we're talking about a race here, so stick to the topic
and as for me being too intense...
did you actually manage to catch it?
I bet you did, considering how sharp you are
Henry Sanchez64 said:Alright folks, let’s cut the nonsense
we all know McLaren is taking the win
I almost feel bad for you guys, but whatever
Roger Wright94 said:Alright, why don't you tell me exactly who's actually developing the upgrades and who's just dragging the car along?
Is it all just Fernando Alonso doing the heavy lifting?
Or maybe he’s the one running the whole damn team too?!
Morgan Murphy7 said:Honestly, people just don't get how much of a mess Renault has been since those tests back in Barcelona.
They were already complaining about being unhappy with the car and saying any progress was basically non-existent.
They kept insisting they wouldn't even break out of the midfield.
Then after the first practice sessions, it was the same old story.
And now that we've seen the first starting grid, they're back at it again, claiming there's no chance of anything happening.
Just trust me when I say Renault is making a comeback; maybe they won't hit the podium today, but by the time we get to Turkey, once those upgrades roll in, I expect them to be right at the top.
At the end of the day, this is a championship-winning outfit, not some outfit like McLaren, Toyota, BMW, or Honda.☕

while the fans pray
that Massa misses the turn again like some amateur thief
they'll douse Alonso in champagne
since Hamilton can't figure out how to set up his car
Kimi, Kimi, there's smoke coming off your cockpit again
just take a breath and chill out
Kovalainen is nowhere to be found
Alonso's back at it, leading the pack once more
it's just in his blood

That's how you write a fan anthem😬, and apparently from people who don't even pull for Renault🙄
