I have a bit of experience dealing with antidepressants—specifically Exelon and Miller—which ended up being pretty bad for me, so I eventually pulled the plug. Even though I was only on them for about a month, the side effects hit me fast: constant drowsiness, total lethargy, and a massive drop in libido. Once I tapered off the doses, everything finally went back to the way it was before. My primary care physician prescribed them because I was going through an incredibly stressful stretch, so I don't actually have a formal diagnosis; she didn't refer me to a psychiatrist or anything. They just left me feeling numb and emotionally blunt, which was a sensation I absolutely hated. I wanted to leave a note here in case anyone else tried them, felt that same emptiness, and decided to stop taking them because they weren't doing any actual good.
That religious education class always seems to fall right in the middle of the school day, never first thing in the morning or at the end of the afternoon... it’s honestly pretty distasteful how they try to force kids into these classes, or if they're in elementary school, just leave them wandering the halls without any supervision. Interesting. Ethics was on Saturday this year, during the last period.
They claim they’re too busy, but let’s be honest—they’re just avoiding actual connection. I’ve reached a point where I simply don't have the bandwidth for people who are incredibly dull and only reach out when they need a favor. There isn't really any point in getting worked up about it; you just stop putting in the effort and stop chasing them down in the future.
Gregory Ramirez2... I've got to hand it to you, you're actually copying the forum user's nickname into its own little section and then tacking the quote tag onto the end of that segment. You have to do that for every single separate block of text before you write your response underneath. Go ahead, give it another shot.
I hope this clears things up for you—it’s honestly how I find everything easiest to manage... give 🙂 a shot. You can do this using just the most basic quote function... all you have to do is isolate the specific snippets of text you want to address and include the username of whoever you're replying to—just grab that header from their post. Then, just tag it with "quote" at the end, and that section will turn blue while you type your response around it. Believe me, I wouldn't call myself some kind of tech genius by any stretch, but I am persistent... as you can see, you'll find my fingerprints on almost every page here 🤣

I've looked everywhere, but I just can't find it. I even checked here, but I don't have that checkbox for "Wrap tags around selected text." The last box I see in the bottom right is "Quick reply to this message." I tried highlighting the specific text I want to quote and clicking that button, but absolutely nothing happens.
Next to that button, I’ve got the "Multiquote" and "Quote" options sitting to the left.
The Multiquote thing works fine when I'm trying to grab multiple different posts, but it won't let me multiquote within a single post.
I actually already got a warning on the forum because I couldn't figure out how to multiquote one post, so I just split it up with dashes instead—and the same moderator who gave me the warning hasn't even replied to my PM about it! I really don't want to rack up any more useless strikes just because of this "glitch." 🤦
Somebody Help me, please? 🕺
Btw I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 8
PS: A few times I've just resorted to copy-pasting the same post over and over, quoting it multiple times, and then manually deleting all the extra stuff I don't need from each block. But man, that takes forever—it totally kills the mood for quoting and makes it such a chore to respond to those longer posts.
You just type your response right here, and then you do this 😁...you see, you have to manually mark where the specific section starts and ends, and it ends up looking like this: 🙂 (image)[/IMG]

That part is actually pretty straightforward... just copy the text from the user you're replying to and click the icon to the right of the mountain image... best to just play around with it and see. 😬
Gregory Ramirez2....I felt the same struggle, honestly. Let me try to break this down for you.....if you want to split up a single post to reply to it bit by bit, just use a standard quote block. You basically divide the text by sandwiching the specific part you're addressing between two markers...for example Gregory Ramirez2
. Then, at the end of that snippet, you put the closing
tag...and right after that, you type your response to that specific section. Then you move on to the next part of their message. So, essentially, you need to wrap the copied segment with those tags at the start and end...I know, it sounds like a massive headache...but just keep practicing...that's how I eventually figured it out myself
43 years old, 132 lbs, mother of a 15-year-old... taken today out by a local spring in Colorado😁. The goal is to finally lose this stubborn waistline fat, and I’m trying to build up my glutes, though they aren't cooperating yet :P. I recently picked up an 8kg kettlebell to start working on some exercises. Any advice or critiques are more than welcome.
Casey Bennett said:Why bother typing a bracket when there’s a command that does all the heavy lifting for you? When you're putting together a post, you should actually write out a description of what's behind the link. Open that destination in a second tab, grab the URL from the address bar, and then
Head back to your draft, highlight your description (just click at the start and drag to the end), and look at the toolbar above the text box. Find the URL icon—it's one of those buttons tucked away on the far right. Click it, a little window pops up asking for the web address, paste your link there, hit confirm, and voilà!
It might sound like a whole production, but honestly, it’s just a few clicks. 🙂
We’re all just shouting into the void here while nobody bothers to listen 😬....maybe not every disaster is a bad thing. Maybe if these forums finally bit the dust, we'd actually have to start socializing in person again 🙂 The constant checking is relentless, and trying to type out a coherent message on a smartphone is a suicide mission... RIP 😁
And honestly, whenever I try to post, I get hit with this "invalid thread" error message a few times before my message just disappears entirely. It’s becoming a repetitive cycle... now I find myself having to copy everything before hitting send just to be safe. Does anyone actually know how much longer we're supposed to deal with this? Is this just another sign that this forum is circling the drain?🤔It feels like they're slowly stripping away every useful feature one by one.
Man, mine's been constantly checking in all day long too... I’m really hoping things settle down by tomorrow, because having it cut out every single time you click something is just plain annoying.

Same thing happens to me. When things get truly messed up, I usually end up laughing. Sometimes it works—better than panicking and running around like a headless chicken—but at funerals and stuff, it feels terrible when it hits you.
Exactly. It always seems to happen at the absolute worst possible moments. I wouldn't care if I were smirking to myself in private, but it invariably happens right when everyone is watching. The worst part isn't even the laughter itself; it's knowing people will immediately judge you without trying to understand. Technically, it's not even within your control 😬; some impulse just takes over and suddenly you're laughing until you cry. Even the mental images in your head become hilarious in that moment... and there is absolutely no way to suppress those thoughts 😁
Those sudden fits of laughter always seem to hit at the worst possible moments. It’s incredibly awkward and almost impossible to suppress once it starts. I honestly think it’s tied to shock; for me, these outbursts usually trigger right after some kind of stressful disaster... one time, I accidentally caused a short circuit at my boyfriend's sister's place and ended up setting their entire bathroom on fire. Total catastrophe, obviously, but I was gripped by this uncontrollable urge to laugh. The worst part was the mental loop playing in my head—just pictacing her sprinting out of the restroom. I knew grinning like a maniac was completely inappropriate, but I just couldn't stop myself. Then there was that time at a funeral, or once while I was at work... I’m fairly certain these are just inexplicable physiological reactions to shock. During that funeral, I actually covered my face with my hands so it looked like I was sobbing, but the second I saw an opening, I slipped out from the procession to pull myself together. Thank God nobody noticed, because I would have died of embarrassment right then and there. How do you even explain that, or find any way to justify it?🤦
