Noah Moore61 said:No, seriously, I’m curious. For real. Let's say you're in a relationship, and your partner—your better half (or your future headache, right?)—starts checking out your buddy. What then?

Or even better. Imagine you actually catch feelings for your friend's girl. And she feels it too. Not just some passing thing, but like, a genuine spark. You'd be thinking about her constantly, man, it would be intense. Is it truly "Bros before hoes"? Or would you actually walk away from something real?
Just asking.

You're asking the wrong guy...

I am a hopeless case!

Naturally, my logic will tell me "no" a hundred times over, but...

As you pointed out yourself, theory and practice (actual dating) are two entirely different universes.

Have you ever seen Pulp Fiction? There's that scene where John Travolta delivers a Hamlet-style monologue in front of the mirror, weighing whether he should just head home or go ahead and sleep with >....

It doesn't happen deterministically for me like it might for >; for me, it’s more like plucking petals off a flower (yes, no, yes, no) as my pulse starts to climb... it just happens.

Besides, you aren't alone in this struggle. You give her a lukewarm "no," but then she brushes against your arm, and before you can even blink, she’s pressed up against you. By the time your conscience finally weighs in on what's right or wrong, she's already made her move and, well, things have happened.

To quote Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind:

"After all, tomorrow is another day"
Noah Moore61 said:But honestly, what’s the alternative here?
Just let people love whoever they want, whenever they feel like it. And for that matter, let them hook up with whoever they want, how and when they want. It's their life.
If you're really that hung up on how other people are loving or sleeping, maybe focus on yourself (🤮) so that maybe—just maybe—you'll actually become someone's first choice too.

Oh goodness, don't even go there. Not everyone can handle a little self-deprecating humor...

I don't know, Sisyphus?!
Noah Moore61 said:quietbadger11, I’ve been chewing on that dilemma of yours—you know, that whole cross you’re carrying on those broad shoulders of yours—and honestly? I think I’ve finally cracked it.

Just don't say a single word to the guy. As for your wife, just tell her you're totally on board. Then, take her to bed and... well, let's just say be the kind of guy who's so completely "unenthusiastic" that she won't even be able to get an erection to complain about. She might be a little disappointed with the actual performance, sure, but at least her curiosity about what's going on with you will be satisfied. And that's it. Keep it between us.
Huuuuu .....🕺

Brilliant. Have you ever considered writing screenplays for the perfect crime?

But... you know how those movies go. There's always a plot twist... suddenly he gets an erection, hard as a rock, standing as rigid as a soldier on parade, while you're banging your head against the wall. The neighbors will just assume someone's having a late-night party again...

P.S. Not even a fresh batch of calamari from the fridge is going to help there.

Melissa Rivera said:Honestly, let them assemble dressers and cabinets all they want. I'll personally pay for three of them, just as long as they stay far away from me...

You could try to rationalize it so they don't repeat the same thing, but my brain just goes, "Well, since she's this to me and he's that to me, everything they do is totally forgiven."

Like I said—delight

But would she actually be happy about it? In that classic Noah Moore way?

I imagine the folks over at Ikea would be rubbing their hands together every time these guys try to assemble furniture.
Maria Cox2 said:David Sanders4, I recall coming across one of those discussions where you seemed remarkably laid-back regarding the whole concept of a threesome.

It almost appeared as though you didn't view the situation as a breach of trust at all.

I find myself wondering, though—would it truly bother you if your girlfriend and a close friend were to engage in a sexual encounter together, effectively ending any romantic connection between them?

I'll give you an answer once you get rid of that damn signature; okp keeps messing with it for me.

Why even ask me that? You could have been less politically correct and just asked if I actually crave that kind of drama.

On a side note, if he were still giving me free oil changes at his shop, I wouldn't mind.

But if he left an old filter in my car during a routine service? Man, I think I'd lose my mind the next time I saw him walking away.
Melissa Rivera said:I think I'm being realistic, though maybe it's just a girl thing since I come off as cold sometimes... even though I'm usually a total delight...
😁

Whatever, doesn't matter... the point is you don't need everyone in your life... even if you're left with just two people, as long as those two are actually solid...

Delight AJ

Spice things up a little and imagine those two people are "him" and "her." She’s your absolute best friend—the one who literally saved your life once, like that time you were both kids stealing candy at the grocery store and she stepped up and took the fall for you. And he? He’s the love of your life, your soulmate, the guy who understands you even when you're dead wrong. He's so handsome it's criminal, and frankly, so attractive you'd want to keep him under lock and key just to keep other women from even glancing his way.

Then, on some miserable, rainy afternoon, you come home after an exhausting day at work and... there they are. The two of them, sweating and half-dressed, struggling through assembling an Ikea wardrobe together. It isn't quite the romantic scene you might have pictured...

Maria Cox2 said:quietbadger11, I honestly don't think I could tolerate things like that anymore

I simply couldn't bear to carry someone else's burden

In truth, she essentially forced you to shoulder her weight by making it a shared secret between just the two of you

Sent from my iPhone

Or maybe they had a quick tryst in the office restroom, and decided, "Let's keep this our little secret." Fortunately, the most nosy coworker in the entire firm happened to walk in, forcing them to scramble. Once their conscience kicked in, they decided to just flush that secret away down the toilet! If anyone asks, a button just popped off her blouse!

Has anyone ever dared to tell Dunda to get rid of that Tapatalk signature?!
Maria Cox2 said:When it comes to the messy intersection of sex and romantic relationships, there truly is no rhyme or reason to it all

In a general sense, if a woman were to be unfaithful with someone else, I believe I could still maintain a friendship with her, simply because I find her to be a wonderful human being at her core

However, if it were a friend who did such a thing, he would no longer hold the status of a friend in my eyes; that bond would be severed entirely

I recall an instance where an ex-friend of mine spent a significant amount of time making advances toward my ex-wife—essentially dropping suggestive comments while we were all hanging out together as a group

And you’re practically a friend to me too—if I just bought you a beer and some burgers and left you hanging out to dry!
I honestly don't get it. Where is the basic sense of gratitude? A man goes out of his way to help you out, and this is how you repay him...

The world has truly gone to hell

I’ve watched this movie several times now, and honestly, it seems to get better with every single viewing.

The way they crank up the tension is masterful—you really feel the character being torn apart between his addiction, his double life, his family, and the terrible crowd he runs with.

He’s an incorrigible, selfish dreamer, an addict, and a liar...
Yet, somehow, he’s so endearing. It’s easy to connect with him—this underdog dreaming of one big score, convinced he can turn things around, even though deep down he knows that "just one more time" is a lie that never ends.

Maybe calling him that is a bit much, but I think it really drives home the internal chaos the protagonist is struggling with.
The intro feels a little sluggish, almost like a documentary, and I didn't quite get the point of that hyper-realistic depiction of nutrition. I’ve read some reviews where people found it meaningful, but it didn't really do anything for me.

It’s not that I ever had a friend like him—some gambler who always had to hit rock bottom just to feel the rush of a win—it’s more that I recognize those traits in myself (just regarding a different kind of addiction).

And Gigi was absolutely perfect for the ending.

The price has actually dropped quite a bit. When you consider how much cheaper the CPU is compared to an AM4 setup with an R5 1400—plus the savings on an AM3+ motherboard versus AM4—it's a different story. Even with an FX chip overclocked to 4.5 GHz, it still holds its own against the cheapest Ryzen 5 options in gaming. Honestly, it remains a solid value even by today's standards.
I picked this up from Best Buy the other day... honestly, I didn't even realize it was on sale. I already own both the G300 and the G300s, and to be perfectly blunt, I haven't noticed any meaningful hardware improvements. If anything, the scroll wheel feels a bit worse to me—kind of heavy and cheap. That said, the key layout is fantastic; personally, it’s my favorite
. The only one that seems to feel better than this is the GX Gila.
We’re running a pop-up shop for seatbelts in San Diego today and tomorrow, then we’ll be heading to Austin, and maybe even Chicago after that. As a last resort, you can always find us online via the webshop.

Do you think making the jump from a GTX 970 to a GTX 1060 6GB is actually worth it? I’m noticing quite a few titles are starting to demand more than 4GB of VRAM—titles like Doom on Nightmare settings or Rise of Tomb Raider, for instance. It feels like the trend is heading toward needing even more than 4GB soon. Should I pull the trigger now, or just hold out until a GTX 1070 becomes a more realistic, budget-friendly option?🕺

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 gaming? (I might even trade $550 for it)🤔
In just a little while, we'll be heading over there to pick up some olive oil and flour. 😁
Terry Collins9 said:Popped into the local Dick's Sporting Goods—just a quick glance, really—and then I was out. Honestly, felt like I spent more time standing on the sidewalk than actually inside. I think I caught a glimpse of a few water bottles, but I wasn't exactly studying them.
Made me think of those specialty bike shops. They carry those bottles too, don't they?

In the end, I went ahead and bought it at... I’m afraid I don't quite follow. Could you clarify what you're looking for?😵
So, apparently, this stuff is BPA-free and rated to handle temperatures ranging from -20 to 90 degrees. Yeah, right.🎉

That’s way too much, man. Way too much!😁
Intersport has it listed on their website, though I’m not entirely sure if they carry it at the local store in Vinkovci. It doesn't explicitly state whether it's BPA-free, so I guess I'll have to head down there and check for myself.🥳
Bringing this back up to the top. 😁
Does anyone know where I can pick up some BPA-free water bottles, maybe around 25-ounce capacity? I’m also open to aluminum or something similar that doesn't carry those nasty chemical side effects. Additionally, I'm looking for wooden spoons—not those cheap little stirrers, but actual sturdy spoons—or perhaps plastic ones designed for honey or baby food that can handle temperatures up to about 120-140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Arthur Perez43 said:So, I wanted to ask about that 14-day window after a purchase. If I return this right now, are they actually obligated to swap it out within a day or two without giving me too much trouble?

What 14 days? You’ve got six months under consumer protection laws!
