It’s kind of ironic, though, because off-camera they couldn't even stand each other.😁

He was always such a great guy, never had anything bad to say about him. 😢He was basically the definition of a macho man, in the best way possible.

So now...

Maybe those weird, rude interviews or how difficult he was to work with—like with Kevin Smith—can be blamed on the illness, but that whole thing about the paycheck? I don't know, that's a tough one to swallow.

Richard Wilson4 said:Now we finally get why he was making those kinds of movies lately.

Honestly, he was making those movies because even someone high as a kite wouldn't want to sit through them.
I mean, Jack Nicholson knew exactly when to step away; I still remember him as an actor who wrapped up his career with actual dignity and class.
It’s just a shame about how things turned out for him, though. I guess there’s nothing worse than losing control over your own mind.

Polanski definitely has firsthand experience with those kinds of societies; he’s probably one of their most prominent members, ☕

Ryan Wilson2 said:Lucifer is the one making the choices here. He picked the Corvette and sent over a guide to lead him straight to his side

I mean, there’s even a hint halfway through the movie that the Corvette guy was chosen—one of the illustrations shows a man kneeling, and he looks just like him.

EDIT: I poked around the thread a bit, and I guess my first sentence was actually a pretty solid educated guess.

I mean, it looks like all the commercial banks are going to be sliding down one by one.

Rachel Diaz8 said:The sheer level of financial illiteracy here honestly catches me off guard.

Even in this space, you see people posting things like "I've lost all my money."

Seriously—how did people even graduate high school? Do they read? Do they actually practice reading comprehension?
Or is the only thing that matters just grabbing a loan and letting the chips fall where they may?

🤦

It’s a total disaster. Honestly, I’m not even surprised by how many people in the US end up with frozen accounts—if anything, I think half of them probably brought it on themselves.

So, what happened back in 2013 with those funds sitting in Wells Fargo?

Whatever. We can just agree to disagree on this one.

Give me a break. They're expecting perfectly healthy people to get tested twice a week. No symptoms at all!
How is this madness supposed to end under these rules?

Is there anyone starting a petition against this yet?
As a decent human being, I’m signing right now—where do I go, and where can I sign?

By the time you finish signing and get that initiative in front of some lawmaker, those sycophants will already be on their third booster shot. If you actually want to do something, you gotta act RIGHT NOW.

Everyone I’ve talked to says they’re mostly dealing with fatigue and aches.
Mainly back pain and some joint issues here and there.

Cheers

God, then I've basically been living with Omicron for half my life.

Thomas Cook said:A Christmas party in Seattle turned into the biggest hotspot for this new coronavirus variant in all of Europe—it’s actually the largest Omicron cluster outside of South Africa.

But instead of freaking out, health officials over there are saying this might actually be a sign that the pandemic is finally winding down.

A Christmas party? I mean, what is wrong with people? December barely even started.

It’s like their whole existence depends on hitting up a Christmas market or going on a ski trip in Aspen, or else they just cease to function...

I guess what's the neighbors gonna say if you don't head out to Denver this year? 😲

I don't really get why everyone is trashing the fourth installment. Honestly, those fight scenes with Jet Li are legendary. And I mean, one of the absolute best moments in the whole series has to be the part with Joe Pesci.

I'm just not looking forward to the fifth one. It’s probably too late for them at this point.
Knowing how Gibson works, he and Glover will probably just end up as side characters who die off just to make some new team look good—you know, that whole cliché where the new crew is supposed to be just like they were back in the day.
