The plot twists are honestly so ridiculous they end up being the funniest part of the whole movie 🤣 Reynolds is actually tolerable here, but man, Dwayne Johnson... just no. Gal Gadot is easy on the eyes though, I could probably stare at her for 30 hours straight 😍 It was way more fun than No Time to Die, which basically bored me to death with its runtime and pacing
They basically cast that eternal boy wonder because they’re banking on a long-running franchise. But honestly? I don't see it. There's just no way Uncharted has enough staying power with audiences to spawn more than maybe two or three movies. I guess if we were living in that pre-pandemic era before the whole movie industry took a massive hit, maybe things would be different, but now? Not a chance.
If they had just made two solid Uncharted films starring Nathan, they probably could have actually delivered something decent. It definitely would've been better than this mess.

Right at the start of this thread, I tried to be civil and ask what actually constitutes "argued criticism." Like, what do I need to include to make sure my post doesn't get nuked? If the rules for criticizing are that strict, I assume the rules for giving praise are just as intense.
I mean, seriously? What a joke. I put up a post that didn't insult anyone or stir the pot; I was just asking for some clarity on these vague thread rules, and it got deleted in record time. I honestly don't even feel like bothering with this thread anymore. I spend all this time typing out a massive wall of text, only for some random anonymous moderator to wipe it out with two clicks.

What kind of excuse is 🤣 Look, "motherfucker" is an insult. It's a curse word. In any form, any context, any way you slice it. Always. I mean, just try saying half of that phrase to a professor, a priest, a cop, the Prime Minister, or your own dad—you aren't going to have a good time, no matter what your original thought, intention, or "link" was supposed to be.

I can't even wrap my head around the fact that the same guy directed Unbreakable. I'm starting to think maybe he was replaced by some pale imitation of himself or something.
Look, it’s definitely not better than Ready Player One, but I guess it’s a decent enough movie. The only funny parts were okay, but honestly, Ryanov humor was starting to get really annoying after a while. Channing and Taika are cool, though. Side note, I just realized Taika kind of sounds like Johnny Depp. Best part was the Captain America scene. Man, I really miss that character. 🙏 6.5/10

He does it because he's an idiot who doesn't know how to manage his time. If I could handle scheduling client meetings for the next day at a decent hour while pulling 12-hour shifts (actual work hours!), then he can do it too. But I guess that would mean shorter coffee breaks after work. My bad.

Look, I don't know how he spends his time and honestly, I don't care. Just like he shouldn't be concerned with how I spend mine. My old teachers back in the day never felt the need to go digging through my business or my parents' business at 10:00 PM. That’s just how I am with my own work, too.

I mean, I've been hanging out on different forums, both here in the States and abroad, since I was a kid, and usually, if you want to be a moderator, there’s some kind of seniority involved—you need a certain level of activity and a decent reputation, basically meaning you haven't been causing massive drama or breaking the rules constantly. But honestly, screw all that. 🙏
So, according to that logic, I just open a new account, drop one or two posts, sit on my hands for fifteen years, and suddenly I’m just as qualified to be a moderator?
