Alexander Hall43 said:Yeah, I went to a urologist, but they came up totally empty-handed. Every swab comes back clean, my urine is sterile... yet I've been dealing with this annoying crap for nearly two years now. There's this stinging sensation after I pee and some dull aching down at the base. What's your situation?
I get that stinging while I'm peeing, and sometimes even after I'm done... they keep finding bacteria in my swabs every once in a while, and occasionally in my semen too, so the diagnosis ended up being chronic prostatitis. It sounds like they just haven't isolated the actual cause for you yet, so they probably want to dig deeper to see what's going on inside, though I don't really get why they'd bother if you aren't dealing with obstructive issues, that constant urge to go without being able to, or a weak stream and all that... but hey, I'm no doctor, and honestly, I don't have a ton of faith in these specialists either! I've been dragging this thing along for five years because it seems like they haven't got a clue how to actually fix it 😁 I've downed enough antibiotics to sink a ship... things improve for a minute and then the whole mess just comes right back, so we're basically just spinning our wheels here... smile and bear it, I guess.😍
Alexander Hall43 said:hehe....I guess I’ll have to knock back another round of antibiotics, and if that doesn't do the trick, then we'll see.
So, is the urologist sending you in because of those persistent infections—you know, some bacteria in the urine or ejaculate—or is it more about a weak stream and stuff like that?
I wasn't there myself, but I definitely need to make it out there eventually, so if you wouldn't mind giving us the lowdown on how everything went down... 👍
haha honestly nobody else matters here, I’m just looking out for myself because things go south fast whenever my mental health takes a hit 😉
Look, there’s no magic pill for this, unfortunately. Your best bet is just to stay busy—work, school, kids, whatever it takes to keep your head focused on something else, because honestly, staying occupied is the only real remedy. You’ve got to snap out of it as soon as possible; don't dwell on it and don't spend all your time venting to me about it, but instead try to actually build something with your life through hard work and just getting things done before the stress starts physically wrecking you. For instance, I personally end up dealing with stomach issues and kidney problems whenever I let things slide...😛 I've managed to pull myself together now, but I still have those days where everything feels incredibly heavy.
I’ve been dealing with gastritis, but honestly, it’s not really acting up enough to bother me right now, so...
So I'm dealing with prostatitis, and honestly, it feels like there isn't some kind of magic bullet out there for this...🤷
Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a solid urologist over in Seattle? 🤷
I was wondering if anyone here knows a solid urologist out in the Seattle area who actually gets results when it comes to treating chronic prostatitis? ☕ Thanks

it’s basically that whole "chicken or the egg" philosophical loop
you could go see the top-tier surgeon in the country and still walk out feeling like nothing happened.
i decided to roll the dice🙄
Roll the dice how? Do you actually know anything about these two?
I’m kind of stuck trying to pick an aesthetic surgeon and could use some input. I’m torn between Maria Zembelli and Nin Vidas. Any advice would be huge 😲

It’s pretty awkward... but hey, at least you survive it.😉
So you were there, huh? Look, yeah, he told me it was uncomfortable, but he claimed it didn't actually hurt, which honestly isn't much of a distinction to me... I'm betting it feels way worse than a standard swab... having issues all the way down there is a whole different level of mess🙄

So you were there, huh? You actually lived through it? 🤷
Lawrence Wells said:Actually, no. Their urethra is just way more complicated. Ouch!😲
Are you speaking from experience here? I was actually planning on going in for that same exam myself, and since my urologist keeps insisting it’s painless, I’m wondering if he's actually telling the truth because I honestly don't trust a word that guy says.
Is it just as painful when it comes to guys?😲
So, I’ve been on the Donat for about three weeks now, and honestly, I’m hitting the restroom regularly with much softer stools. Looking back, I’m pretty convinced my issues were actually triggered by the toilet paper itself; lately, I won't even bother going unless there's a bidet available. It wasn't even like I had severe hemorrhoids per se, it was just this intense burning sensation after using the bathroom—usually hitting me about 5 or 6 hours later. Naturally, things would look red and inflamed or sometimes a bit blue (just a milder version of the issue), and there were mornings where I’d wake up feeling like my backside was literally on fire. Everything feels way better now, though; I don't find myself constantly checking Factu anymore, I just apply a little bit of baby ointment and call it a day!
I’ve been taking some magnesium-based stuff like Donat for about two weeks now, and I’m finally hitting the bathroom every single day! Before that, I was pretty much stuck on a schedule of once every four or five days😢. Lately, though, I’ve been dealing with this constant burning sensation down there, which is honestly driving me crazy. I’ve been trying to stick with some Lawry's supplements to help out, but it’s hit or miss—some days feel fine, and other days are just rough... anyone else have any solid recommendations?
