Just stepped out of the theater, so I figured I’d drop some fresh thoughts while they're still rattling around in my head.

The movie is genuinely fun and incredibly well-paced. The fight choreography and action sequences, in general, are top-tier—they really grab you and are a total blast to watch. Surprisingly, I didn't find Harley Quinn nearly as grating as I expected, though out of the whole bunch, Dinah Lance was definitely the one who resonated with me most.

The soundtrack is great, even if it feels a bit heavy-handed or pretentious in a few spots. All things considered, it’s a highly entertaining ride, sitting right up there with Aquaman and Wonder Woman.

Is anyone actually going to weigh in here?

Honestly, I find myself exclusively drawn to superhero movies and series. There’s just something about living in an era where we can actually witness all those comic book marvels brought to life on the big screen. It’s quite something, really. 🙏

I’ve already gone through the trouble of reinstalling Adobe Flash Player, so we can rule that out as the culprit. The issue is that my CPU usage spikes to a full 100% the second playback starts. What’s particularly telling—and frankly, a bit baffling—is how differently these players handle the load. I can get about five or six minutes of smooth sailing if I use VLC Media Player, but the moment I switch over to GOM Player, the whole thing starts choking immediately. It feels fundamentally off that one works while the other struggles right out of the gate 🤷

So, I’m dealing with a real headache here—my laptop starts crawling after about ten minutes of use. The biggest issue is that I can't even get through a decent movie in 720p without it choking; meanwhile, those tiny 300 MB series episodes run just fine all day long. Even on YouTube, anything above a grainy 480p resolution causes the whole thing to stumble and stall. My setup is a Dell notebook running an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.00 GHz, paired with 3 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 9400 m.

Here is what I’ve already tried to do to fix this mess: I ran a disk defrag, performed a full antivirus scan, purged all the junk files from my hard drive, and gave CleanMyMac a go. What can I actually do to get this machine capable of smooth playback again? 🙂

Now that I'm in my twenties, I hear people toss that phrase around constantly, but I honestly have no clue what they mean by it. 🤷 Are we talking about a threesome? Getting trashed on a park bench like some total degenerate? Acting out at high school, getting into fights, or just causing general mayhem?

Honestly, Richard Bailey21, just let the past stay dead and buried. 😉 Nobody is perfect. We’ve all done things that keep us up at night, but that’s just part of the human experience. If we didn't stumble and make mistakes, we wouldn't grow or move forward. 🙂

I’ve run into a real nightmare here. I have this cluster of what looks like raw, inflamed tissue—granulation tissue, I think the doctors call it—growing right out from an ingrown toenail on my right big toe. It’s honestly revolting. I’m wondering if there’s any way to deal with this without going under the knife again. Back when I was in Chicago about two years ago, a plastic surgeon had to excise a quarter of the nail on my other foot to fix the exact same issue, and frankly, I’d rather avoid another procedure if possible. Right now, I’ve been using some antiseptic soak to try and draw out the infection; it helps the swelling subside a bit, but that angry little growth just won't fully retreat 🙂

Look, I can easily reach the nail and trim it myself, but the whole mess remains—it still feels like the nail is digging in, leaving this hideous irritation behind. Does anyone know of any other way out of this? Is there a specific ointment, a specialized treatment, or anything at all... just something to get rid of this disaster so I can finally wear sneakers without constant pain 🤷

It absolutely drives me up the wall when I see these computers running some obscure operating system, polished to perfection with all those flashy little animations. It’s all just surface-level fluff; you don't even need a mouse because you can just stare at the screen and hammer away at commands 😵
