Are you guys getting annoyed?😲 It sounds so surreal, but ever since the pandemic, you just smell like garlic.

Now Sox finally knows she actually has a grandma she never knew about.

Every single day, I make a point to tell myself what I’m grateful for. It could be anything—a beautiful sunny day, a great meal, seeing a cute dog while out for a walk, or just noticing the vibrant colors of flowers on a balcony or along the sidewalk. Just try to focus on the good things.
I really can't stand arguments or unnecessary drama. As soon as things start heating up, I just step away. There’s absolutely no point in wasting my time or energy on that kind of thing. 🙂

Tell him he’s incredibly sharp and perceptive, having grasped certain realities, but he’s also remarkably foolish and blind despite having perfectly good eyes.
Explain to him that he’s almost as smart as hiddenpuma75 because he’s managed to decipher one half of the equation: the fact that this world and life itself are overflowing with lies, false values, suffering, filth, sludge, injustice, terrible TV shows, awful people, and even bad moderators.
But then, point out his stupidity: he’s fixated solely on that one half of existence, completely ignoring the glaringly obvious fact that this world also holds a billion and one beautiful things.🙂 👍
If he continues—as we might expect—to whine about how he can't see those beautiful things, or how the bad stuff bothers him more than the wonderful stuff brings him joy, then give him the finishing blow...
Tell him he’s officially become a philosopher, and remind him that Camus once said the only truly serious philosophical question is whether or not one should commit suicide.
So, basically, tell him to finally grow up and embrace existence as it is, or to stop talking and actually follow through by ending it all—which would be his most consistent and final critique of life, the universe, and the number 42.😲

Raymond Booth40 said:My guy is a total narcissist too, honestly!
Raymond Fisher98 said:Well, you could probably find yourself a wife who actually knows her way around a kitchen too.
Honestly, I have no idea where you people find guys and girls who can't cook.
I tend to hang out with actual adults, and most of them don't pull this kind of nonsense without thinking twice.

gentlestag3 said:So, he’s turning forty soon, and she’s just there worrying that he’ll end up all alone and miserable ☕ 😬
Raymond Booth40 said:There is simply no way he can fall in love when he’s a true narcissist. He fell for me too, and look how that turned out. Now he claims he isn't interested in anyone else at all.
Raymond Fisher98 said:Seriously though... I don't think anyone in this entire thread has said a single nasty thing about the guy.
Look, he might have some issues, but that's not really the point. What matters is that he’s just not looking to settle down—at least not with the OP—and honestly, that's totally fair.

The issue is with you. You’re an adult. You are responsible for your own actions.
So you want a man to take responsibility for you? Then you don't deserve anything better.

Yeah. Exactly. ☕When a woman is a bit underwhelmed, yet it’s really just a matter of two adults reaching an agreement, the logical conclusion is that the man is some kind of selfish predator, an exploiter, a total scumbag, and a disgusting human being. Typical. 😵.
That’s all it takes to spark a feminist uprising. Just hint that some guy got laid for free without even trying. 😁.
Raymond Booth40 said:It wasn't always like this. At first, things felt much more like a committed relationship. Then, overnight, he just completely flipped the script and started acting like he was just casually dating someone... before, he actually treated me like we were together.
Raymond Booth40 said:I really need to understand why he won't commit to anyone. Honestly, being with him just leaves me feeling completely drained; I feel like my brain has been wiped clean and I'm not even the same person anymore.
Sean Kern2 said:Can someone please point out where I actually called her an angel? You don't need to be some NASA rocket scientist to see the girl is just incredibly naive. Besides, I’m not about to go out of my way to kick someone while they're down, regardless of gender—I've got at least a little bit of class left.😉
The real issue is that she's been tied to this guy since she was twenty-one, and he's spent four years conditioning her through sex. You want to talk about that?🙂
The problem is definitely that self-proclaimed predator; everything we're reading from her perspective is just the aftermath of being with him.
Raymond Booth40 said:I'm thinking about getting my life in order. I have some things to sort out first, so I’ll wait until I hit 40. If I haven't made progress by then, well, it won't matter anyway. I want to try to conceive.
Paul Thomas81 said:The issue is that even when I feel capable, or when I actually have a shred of motivation, someone inevitably shows up to talk me out of it. I end up feeling like an idiot and just quit. I honestly don't know why I do this to myself or why I set such narrow limits on what I can achieve.🤷
