This whole thing is wild to me. Apparently, Palette has 20 ingredients that supposedly cause ovarian cancer. Like, okay, but how much of this stuff actually causes cancer? What’s the actual concentration in the product? And how much exposure are women getting just by dyeing their hair? Are we seeing more ovarian cancer cases in women using Palette compared to those using other brands or no dye at all? Now everyone is losing their minds, panicking and saying "I use it!" "Me too!" "I use it too!"...
First it's tampons causing cervical cancer, then it's bras and deodorants causing breast cancer... blah, blah, blah. Why don't we just skip the middleman and kill ourselves now to be safe?

I know that should be an infertile window, but 😛anxiety: since you're supposed to wait 19 days to test, I did it on day 18 because I just couldn't take the stress anymore. Obviously, it was negative. But still; is it an issue that I did it a day early? 🙂 😛anxiety:
It doesn't matter. 😁 Look, just start taking the pill and save yourself the headache. 🙂
Man, I’m starting to think my reaction to that stuff is just like a cat allergy. It’s nothing major—I picked it up back in elementary school from a friend's cat. Now I have two cats of my own, and I had an allergic reaction to both of them for the first few days, but now? They can sleep right in my bed and I don't feel a thing. 😁My body just gets hypersensitive here and there, then it passes.
Oh my god 🙄 Seriously, this happened with all kinds of dairy. I'm talking milk that was freshly opened, liquid yogurt I grabbed from Target and ate five minutes later, sour cream that had been sitting in the fridge for a day, and even some heavy cream I just picked up from Whole Foods... Is it actually possible that EVERYTHING was spoiled? Like, am I the only one who got sick, or was everyone else hitting the floor too?
And this happened twice, months apart, using the exact same fridge in our house!
Lately, I’ve been feeling pretty nauseous whenever I eat stuff like Cocoa Puffs, Cream of Wheat, or whatever.
Mind you, that was back at the end of last year. And look, it wasn't just me drinking milk. It wasn't even just about the milk—I'm talking heavy cream straight from the carton, cheese, all that. And it wasn't always the same brand of milk, either. Nothing was expired, and nothing was sitting there on its absolute last day of being good.
Jeffrey Gonzalez5 said:That's pure foolishness. Both men and women can get genital warts from HPV, which is definitely not fun—you usually have to deal with surgical removal or acid treatments to get rid of them.
Look, there is a massive difference between a wart and cancer. 🙂 As far as I know, they aren't even caused by the same strains of the virus.
1) I don't buy it. Most people don't even realize you can catch HPV through risky sex unless they're out there scouring the internet for info. I certainly don't remember them teaching us a single thing about this in school; they just harp on about HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis...
2) Honestly, if someone goes out of their way to get vaccinated, they’re probably responsible enough to stick to regular gynecological exams anyway. They likely know enough to realize a shot isn't the only line of defense.
3) I think... no. 😁It costs a fortune, the effects aren't permanent, and they aren't even guaranteed. I'd much rather focus on boosting my immune system and staying on top of my Pap smears.
Taroth said:To get infected, you need a micro-trauma (like a tiny cut), unprotected contact (direct mucosal or fluid exchange), and the other person has to be positive...
HPV is mostly spread through sexual intercourse, but it can also happen through direct contact with infected skin or mucous membranes. There are cases where infections have been found in the respiratory tract or eyes, but the genital area is by far the most common site for infection.
The fact that HPV isn't transmitted exclusively through penetration is proven by the reality that some virgins test positive for it. There are also documented cases where virus-induced changes show up in the mouth, proving it can be spread through oral-genital contact too.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_papillomavirus
Here we go again 😬 So, lately I’ve been living on dairy. Chocolate cereal, cheesy tortellini, cocoa for breakfast, you name it. And honestly? Everything started making me feel sick after I ate. I have some chocolate cereal—stomach turns. I make cheese tortellini—feeling sick. Cocoa with toast and jam? Nausea. I even had fried cheese, and about an hour and a half later, I felt terrible. (I thought maybe it was just the grease from the fries I had with it, but no—the nausea started happening with everything else too.) Now that I've cut out all dairy, the nausea is gone. 🙏 No diarrhea this time, just straight-up hellish nausea and stomach cramps. Yesterday, I basically survived on a banana, half a kiwi, and some almonds. I didn't eat a real meal until dinner. Should I actually bother going to my doctor? What is she even going to tell me or send me for?
(For the record, since I started this thread, I've been eating dairy totally fine without issues. I wasn't sitting there two hours after a bowl of chocolate cereal waiting for my stomach to stop acting like a freaking yo-yo.)

Took a test Saturday morning and saw two lines 😍 😍 (even though the second one was super faint, you could still see it!) Did the test about 14 days after ovulation and I don't have any symptoms whatsoever!!! 😲 (except my period is late...) 😍
I don't think this would cost a fortune. It’s not like TVs or DVD players are some huge luxury these days. Just call a PTA meeting, tell everyone the school is absolutely broke, and see if they'll cough up ten bucks.
So, 10 bucks times 30 kids per class... that's easy money.
And please, don't even start talking about those elementary school movies.🙂 Back in my day, we had "media studies," which was hands down the most boring class in the entire district. I swear, reading complex sentences was way more entertaining.
quietdriver3 said:I don't think we need them as separate subjects. Music and Art already have enough active participation built in—like singing or drawing.
We did music back in fourth grade—mostly just singing—then it was all theory after that. As for art? I spent my time doodling flowers in the margins of my notebook. So much "active participation" there.

Just find a new OB-GYN. Look, right here there's been tons of discussion about them. 🙂
