I honestly think a GP’s main job should be prevention. They should handle the minor stuff and figure out who actually needs to see a specialist and when.
I mean, what is a primary care doctor even supposed to do if someone has kidney pain? Aside from ordering labs and sending them off to a specialist, there isn't much.

Yeah, they do. Sorry. Actually, iron in a microwave turns into Pac-Man and just eats all the metal. You're straight up lying.
Go jump in a lake.😁

hm...

Is it actually possible for a pregnancy test to give a false result when a woman is already four months along?

No. Home tests pick up about 25 units of hCG in a certain amount of urine, and those levels skyrocket so fast that by the fourth month, you're talking thousands of units. There isn't a single test on the market that won't catch that. Your friend should just call her OB-GYN and schedule an appointment if she's worried. Since our servers are down, we can't exactly perform a pelvic exam here...

I've noticed this happening before where the option just isn't there... there's simply no 😕, but it won't be for long. 🙂

In the first post of this thread, there was a link to Tein's topic, which had a link to Black Mamba's blog where she tested how sensitive these tests actually are. (She says this suddenly, then takes a deep breath just to get some air 😁)
Can you even pair these damn lentils with chickpeas?

That's been the deal for ages. 🙂

It’s been a minute since you showed up here, hasn't it? One time the whole forum just swallowed up every single one of Puke's posts out of pure spite. Jerk.

Why can't they just make this the default setting already?

Just go see your primary care doctor first.
Then I assume you'll get a referral to a urologist.
Or you could just book a private urologist if you want to skip the wait.
George Peterson said:I still don't get how the length of your period or the cramps relate to PCOS at all.

Maybe the ones getting their periods early are more at risk. Same for those who go longer. I don't know, 😕 maybe the duration is some kind of indicator. 😕
I just have the syndrome, my ovaries are actually perfect 😍
It was just those two hormones that were flipped upside down.
Linda Hernandez15 said:(my ovulation hit right on the weekend 😬 ) and I had those same stabbing, cutting pains all weekend just like you described.

That could honestly just be ovulation pain.
Either way, fingers crossed it's actually the baby 🙂

But a week later? It's way too early to test. 🙂

Just wait nine months. Then you'll have your answer. 🙂
Amanda Stewart69 said:I also had my period start at 12, lasted about 6, sometimes even 7 days, and they were painful. Women with flows like that usually have PCOS

:pcos: yeah, that’s what we’re talking about. 😁

I have it. 😁
Mine showed up on day 11 and lasted 6 days straight. What’s the big deal?
