I bet there isn't a single shot of it, unless maybe from that tournament in Denmark back in '97, but that was the national team and everyone was having a blast. That’s the biggest difference between our two groups. Your whole narrative is that we’re just some bottom-feeders or whatever, but those "bottom-feeders" showed up at every single derby in town to grab a beer. Sometimes we took a beating, sometimes we handed them one, but we always showed up. Unlike you guys, whose big "territory" back then was basically just random towns in the Midwest or some small-town crews from Petrinja (props to them), while you were all busy playing "city protectors" in Chicago. And here's another lie: saying our street presence ended in '92. We were walking the streets and causing trouble right up until that bloody derby, and after that, our crew realized you weren't that same ragtag bunch from the early 90s anymore. But people still came our way looking for trouble and got what was coming to them because that’s just how we roll. It's better to show up and take a hit than to wait twenty years after forming a group to finally show up in the city for the first time in 2006. Honestly, I don't even want to write this, but you're lying to your kids about being the "protectors of the city" and the pride of Chicago, the supposed top firm in Europe, when you wouldn't have even seen the waterfront if there hadn't been a truce a few years ago.
:klap:
Man, the exact same core group that always had the banners at the Rose Bowl (mostly the Petrinja crowd) were the ones calling the shots and hunting through Chicago. Back in the early nineties, we’d mostly get to the city by foot or by bus. We’d walk all the way from the station over to Bacvic where the players were staying at the Park Hotel. Someone would drop a few bucks, and we’d end up trekking all the way from Bacvic to the Rose Bowl on foot. And that was just a handful of us carrying banners on our backs.
Do you really think it was nothing to us, the ones who actually made the trip every time? You think we didn't care about trekking across the entire city, stopping at those little stands to buy tickets, and then heading to the entrance of the cage? There wasn't even a fenced-off parking lot or a proper walkway to the stadium back then... and after the game, we'd trek across town again, either back to the station or toward Solin to catch a ride or hop on a bus headed back to Chicago.
In Chicago, you guys were the ones taking the hits and the beatings because it took you way too long to realize that those old habits of roaming the streets suddenly became a bad idea.
